About Advanced Adult Probiotic
Advanced Adult Probiotic is a once-daily supplement that promises to balance your gut flora and support healthy digestion. This way, you’ll be able to extract all the vitamins you need from the food you eat, while finding relief from digestive discomfort, low energy, poor mood, and a weakened immune system.
We’re told that inside each capsule of Advanced Adult Probiotic, you’ll find 30 billion colony-forming units (CFU) and 15 strains of “potent, beneficial” bacteria, which are formulated specifically for people experiencing digestive issues. All you have to do is take 1 capsule of Advanced Adult once per day with food, preferably at the same time.
Advanced Adult Probiotic contains no fillers, binders, or synthetic ingredients, and its vegetarian capsules are safe for consumption no matter what your dietary restrictions. The company claims that while some customers could experience results in a matter of days, it can take 3-4 weeks of regular use to completely balance out your gut bacteria.
It seems like every time you blink, there’s a new probiotic supplement hitting the market, claiming to deliver one set of benefits or another. But how do these supplements work. And how can you possibly know which one is best for you? Should Advanced Adult Probiotic make it on your short list?
We’ll help you get the information you need to help you make a smarter buying decision.
The Who, What, Why, When, & Where of Probiotics
The term “probiotic” was originally coined by Elie Metchnikoff in 1907, when he hypothesized that it was possible to colonize the digestive tract (otherwise known as the gut) with beneficial bacteria. However, it wasn’t until decades later that full scale trials took place to help decide exactly which strains were most beneficial—even the definition of probiotics was changed as recently as 1989.
Throughout these trials, certain bacteria strains have been shown to crowd out other “bad” bacteria that can overpopulate the gut as the result of a poor diet (bad bacteria thrive on preservatives and artificial sweeteners), a recent round of antibiotics, and excessive stress, causing indigestion, gassiness, IBS flare-ups and more.
And, as mentioned on the Advanced Adult Probiotic website, about 70% of your immune system is located in your digestive tract, so probiotics have also been shown to boost immune system function.
However, it wasn’t until the last several years that companies began releasing their own probiotic supplements, each of which claims to outdo the competition in one way or another. What about Advanced Adult Probiotic? What does it contain and how does it compare to other supplements?
What Bacteria Strains Does Advanced Adult Probiotic Contain?
According to the supplement’s website, Advanced Adult Probiotic contains 30 billion CFU of:
Each of these are different strains of bacteria, which themselves are part of a larger family, known as a genus. As a genus, Lactobacillus are a family of lactic acid bacteria commonly found in yogurt, cheese, and other dairy products that’s especially effective at addressing digestion issues.
Regarding specific strains, acidophilus is often used to reduce IBS-related symptoms, UTIs in children, and certain vaginal bacterial infections. Rhamnosus has been shown to help obese women lose weight and address atopic dermatitis in children, while bulgaricus may boost immune function and protect against E. coli.
Bifidobacteria is a newer (and slightly less popular) bacteria family than Lactobacillus. Breve and bifidum may be effective for reducing cholesterol and reducing necrotizing enterocolitis in children, while infantis may be especially useful for irritable bowel syndrome.

Oddly enough, the most common side effects associated with probiotics (not Advanced Adult specifically) are the very ones these supplements are supposed to address; namely, bloating, gassiness, and digestive upset. As your gut balances out, these side effects generally shouldn’t last more than a few days.
How does do these strains compare to other probiotic supplements?
Advanced Adult Probiotic vs. the Competition
As we mentioned at the beginning, you can’t throw a stick these days without finding a new probiotic supplement. We’ve even reviewed many of the most popular online options here at HighYa, including Probiotic America, ProbioSlim, Whole Body Keybiotics, PerfectBiotics, and more.
Whether we’re talking about these options or the thousands of other competitors, you’ll find that some contain more strains and others contain less, while some (like Probiotic America) contain almost the same bacteria list and 30 billion CFU count.
Speaking of which, as long as there are “enough” bacteria to balance your gut flora (this will likely vary by individual), there isn’t a lot of clinical evidence showing that a higher CFU count will necessarily provide better benefits. Again, all things being equal.
Another big difference between probiotic supplements is price. While the competition can range anywhere between $10 and $50+, how much will you pay for Advanced Adult Probiotic?
How Much Does Advanced Adult Probiotic Cost?
Advanced Adult Probiotic is priced as follows:
- 1 Bottle (30 capsules): $39.99
- 3 Bottles: $106.77
- 6 Bottles: $199.15
Comparatively, you can see that Advanced Adult Probiotic is on the upper end of the spectrum as far as price.
All orders over $50 come with free shipping, and regardless of what you pay, you’ll have 90 days to return Advanced Adult Probiotic if you’re dissatisfied (less S&H charges). In order to request a refund, you’ll need to call customer service at 844-650-5933 or support@LiveCellResearch.com.
Just who is Live Cell Research, anyway?
Who’s the Company Behind Advanced Adult Probiotic?
Advanced Adult Probiotic is manufactured by Live Cell Research, a company based out of Los Angeles who also makes other popular supplements like Niagen, Midogen, LA-3 Longevity Activator, Cerastim, and more.
Here on HighYa, Live Cell Research and their products seem to come with middle-of-the-road feedback from customers. Like many other nutritional supplements, many customers claimed to have experienced positive results, while the most common complaints tend to revolve around failure to work as advertised and poor customer service.
Does this necessarily mean you’ll experience the same with Advanced Adult Probiotic? We’ll just have to wait until the customer reviews start rolling in to find out.
Is Advanced Adult a Better Probiotic Supplement?
In their promotional long form sales video, Live Cell Research calls these “bad” bacteria living in your gut deadly, dangerous, a living thing that’s mutating inside you, and even some kind of “pathogenic monster.” In the end though, while too many of these bad bacteria certainly won’t make you feel fantastic, we think this approach is intended to tug at your emotions more than it is to help you make an informed decision.
Marketing aside, we also discussed that Advanced Adult Probiotic’s strain formulation isn’t exactly unique, nor is its 30 billion CFU count. Despite this, Advanced Adult is priced meaningfully more than many other probiotics.
Taking all these factors into consideration, is Advanced Adult Probiotic worth the higher price? While most probiotic supplements will generally deliver similar results, we think one of the biggest differences is the company who manufactures them.
From this perspective, Live Cell Research seems to stand behind their products with a 90-day refund policy, so they might be worth a try. Just remember that you’ll lose a few dollar in S&H during the process.
