About AGR Body Program

Developed by weight loss author and nutrition specialist John Barban, AGR Body (otherwise known as the Adonis Golden Ratio approach), is a 12-week, 4-phase personalized eating plan designed to help men achieve healthy weight loss.

AGR Body accomplishes this through a series of diet, exercise, and resistance training plans that can not only help men lose weight, but can also help you develop lean muscle, without the need for any pills or powders. And all of this regardless of your age, fitness level, or training history.

Inside the AGR Body program, you’ll discover delicious and flavorful foods that help keep you full, boost your testosterone, “ignite” your metabolism, increase your energy, and promote healthy fat loss. On top of this, John claims that the AGR Body system will show you exactly what to eat and when to eat it, so that it forces your body to release more testosterone and helps you to achieve the results you’re after.

AGR Body’s content—including nutritional software, meal plans, instructional training videos, and a “virtual nutritionist”—is completely digital, so you’ll be able to access it from any PC, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection. The AGR Body plan can also be customized, which means you can tailor it to suit your needs based on current lifestyle, goals, measurements, personal food preferences/restrictions, his training history, or exercise capabilities.

If you watched the whole video on the AGR Body website, you almost certainly have a lot of questions; most importantly, “Can it really help me boost testosterone and achieve a perfect body?” Let’s find out by first taking a look at what testosterone is.

What is Testosterone?

According to LiveScience, testosterone “is a male sex hormone that is important for sexual and reproductive development.” This includes development of male sex organs prior to birth, as well as physical characteristics such as a deep voice, growth of body hair, and more.

In fact, testosterone is so important that it also plays a major role in sperm production, red cell production, maintaining muscle strength and mass, and even can dictate where fat is stored on your body (similar to one of the claims made in the AGR Body video).

As you might imagine, once testosterone production begins declining (usually around the age of 30), this can cause unwanted side effects for men, such as decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and decreased sperm count. From a physical perspective, men with decreasing testosterone may also experience hair loss, decreased muscle mass, weight gain, irritability/depression, and more.

According to AGR Body though, you can replenish your testosterone reserves simply by changing your eating habits. Is there any truth to this?

Can You Boost Testosterone with Food?

Maybe, but it’s unlikely.

This is because some preliminary studies have shown that specific substances, such as vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, vitamin C, and more, may help improve your testosterone levels (or at least prime your body to begin producing more testosterone).

However, this doesn’t mean that these substances (or any others, for that matter) have been shown to reliably increase testosterone levels enough to experience tangible, real-world benefits. In other words, if you’re suffering from low testosterone, eating the specific foods outlined in AGR Body probably won’t provide the outstanding results claimed by the manufacturer.

Keep in mind though that there are several lifestyle factors you can change to potentially balance your T levels, including getting adequate sleep, exercising regularly (here’s where the AGR Body program might be most effective), maintaining a healthy weight, and controlling your stress.

Ok, so AGR Body’s food-based approach to increasing testosterone probably won’t provide the incredible results you’re expecting. But will the program’s “shape-specific nutrition” at least help you to lose weight?

AGR’s Shape-Specific Nutrition

Before addressing whether or not AGR Body’s shape-specific nutrition will work, it’s important to first differentiate between body type and body shape.

When it comes to body type, there are 3 broad classifications: Ectomorph, or slim; mesomorph, or muscular; and endomorph, or curvy.

On the other hand, body shape (at least when referencing claims made by AGR Body) is more specific than body type, and can point to fat distribution, muscle strength, weight, and more.

With these differences in mind, you can definitely tailor your nutrition and workouts to the body type you’re looking to achieve. However, regardless of the foods you eat or the workouts you perform, you cannot target specific areas of fat on your body (also known as targeted fat loss).

We bring this up because the AGR Body video doesn’t do a good job of explaining exactly what they mean by “shape-specific nutrition” (other than that it involves “eating correctly based on where you body stores fat”), and you should understand the subtle nuances at play before handing over your money.

Up to this point, it seems like the AGR Body system may not provide the level of results promised by the company. But who’s behind the company? Is John Barban a real person with real credentials?

The Company Behind AGR Body

Adonis Golden Ratio (also known as Muscle Meals Inc.), based out of Dundas, Ontario, Canada, held an A rating with the Better Business Bureau at the time of our research, based on 18 closed complaints. Unfortunately, no complaint details were available.

Important note: Although AGR Body claims to have been featured in Men’s Health magazine, keep in mind this article only referenced the mathematical principle behind the ideal male physique—not the AGR Body program specifically.

John Barban holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in biology and nutrition, and claims to have been developing weight loss supplements for the past 3 years. However, outside of websites directly related to AGR Body (and his other popular program, Venus Factor), we only encountered affiliate content when searching for John Barban reviews.

AGR Body Pricing & Refund Policy

The AGR Body system is priced at $37, and you’ll gain immediate access as soon as your payment is processed.

For this price, you’ll receive the AGR Nutrition Program and the AGR Training Program (with 78 premium video coaching lessons), both of which can be accessed through your PC or through the company’s mobile app.

Like all products sold through Clickbank, AGR Body comes with a 60-day refund policy. In order to request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at (844) 236-6474.

Can AGR Body Boost Your T—& Your Physique?

Now that we’ve provided some in-depth insight into AGR Body, we’ll ask you: Do you think it can reasonably help boost your testosterone levels or help you achieve the ideal physique?

If you’re like us, you may have some hesitations about eating specific foods to boost testosterone, although the workout videos provided as part of your AGR Body membership—as well as the nutrition plan—could go a long way toward helping you develop healthy habits that can shed pounds.

Despite these concerns, you can always take advantage of the company’s 60-day refund policy if you’re not satisfied, although we might recommend speaking with your physician prior to placing your AGR Body order.

    GET THIS, if you're serious

I bought this system 2 years ago, known as the Adonis Golden Ration/Index. Best money I've spent on a workout system. I have tried a few internet workout systems in the past. This is the one you want if you are serious about "getting it on". Follow the beginners part first, I don't care how long you have been working out. Then move on to the upgraded versions they offer. I did, and people noticed, men and women and most importantly me. The eating plan is just that. Don't call it a diet, because its not. You may have to vary some things to your taste, but folks, this is The Plan. This is the kind of plan you should go all in on, if you do, inside of 3 months, you will be like "WOW". Then, you will be hooked. I still dabble in other plans, HIIT, TABATA, they are good variations, but this is my main plan, and it gets better, you will see results. Stick to it, get the app that's out there, go "all in". You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
