About Amazing Arms

Developed by Idea Village and based in Pacoima, CA, Amazing Arms is an “As Seen on TV” fashion wear product that helps you “Go from flabby to fabulous in seconds!” Similar to Sleevey Magic, this “barely there, light as air” garment not only instantly slims your arms, but also helps to hide flab and other blemishes.

Amazing Arms is not currently rated with the Better Business Bureau, despite having two closed claims within the past three years. However, Idea Village—the developer who specializes in a wide variety of “As Seen on TV” products, including Amazing Arms—holds a D rating, which is based on 150 closed complaints. Online reviews for Amazing Arms appear to be primarily negative, with the most common complaints citing poor quality fabric, lengthy shipping times, and poor customer service.

How Amazing Arms Works

Amazing Arms works very similar to Sleevey Magic; simply slip it on, fasten it under your bust, and instantly experience slimmer, more toned arms. The product’s website claims that the lightweight material with 4-way stretch technology is super sheer, soft, and comfortable, and will coordinate well with almost any outfit, while preventing back bulges.

Amazing Arms garments are available in black, pearl, and lace models (see next section for additional details), and are sized S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Please click here for a detailed sizing chart.

Amazing Arms Pricing & Refund Policy

Amazing Arms is currently priced at $19.95, plus $7.99 shipping and handling. The pricing structure on the website is slightly confusing, so keep in mind that the only item you’ll receive for this price is a black Amazing Arms garment in the size of your choice. If you would like the pearl color, you’ll need to pay an additional $6.99 S&H. However, if you choose this option, you’ll also receive a lace Amazing Arms garment for “free.”

All Amazing Arms garments come with a “perfect fit” 30-day money back guarantee. If you’re unhappy for any reason, simply return them via USPS to the manufacturer. There is no need to obtain RMA first, just include your name, address, daytime telephone number, and email address inside the package. Once received, your credit will be processed within 10 days.

Bottom Line: Is Amazing Arms a Scam?

With all of this information, you’re probably asking yourself, “Is Amazing Arms a scam?” Based on our research, Amazing Arms appears to be a legitimate product, and does not appear to be a scam. With this said though, there are several things you should keep in mind prior to purchasing:

  1. Amazing Arms in an “As Seen on TV” product, which tends to have lower levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. Numerous complaints of poor-fitting, poor quality fabric, lengthy shipping times, and rude/unhelpful customer service.
  3. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. This means that if you choose the “bonus” offer and later decide to return your Amazing Arms, you’ll be out $14.98 in S&H charges, in addition to any money spent shipping the product back to the manufacturer. When all is said and done, you’ll be lucky to break even.

Should Have Read Reviews first. Amazing Arms, up-sell, up-sell, up-sell.

    • USA,
    • Aug 15, 2015

I called their 1-800-675-8195 order number. There was live operator and I was forced to talk to a lengthy machine for almost 20 minutes. However, at the very beginning they get your credit card info. Then comes 19 minutes of up-selling from additional creams and colors, And about a dozen other up-sells. They even tell you someone from Idea Village will be calling you with additional offers. So basically this company is a creative telemarketing force. You call them for one product then consent to their future telemarketing calls and lists. This company and their entire concept seems scandalous. If you start receiving telemarketing calls or excess charges on your credit card but you can probably trace it back to this company. Not recommend.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Not worth the money

    • Florida,
    • Jul 1, 2015

It appears that they make their money on the S&H which is almost as much as the product (made in China). When you send it back for about $5, you only net about $15 credit and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. No instructions as to how to undo the under-bra clip. I would not recommend this to anyone. Good idea, worthless product.

    Outrageous shipping costs

    • Phoenix,
    • Jul 1, 2015

I haven't even received product yet and am floored by the shipping charges. My order is wrong, they are sending a set of small's when I ordered all XXL. I am going to complain to BBB. I hate being ripped off. If you order the second set be prepared to be billed close to 70.00. And getting order wrong on top of it.

    Terrible product

    • California,
    • Jul 1, 2015

I read negative reviews about this product, but decided to try it for myself. I've ordered many products on line and have never written a review, even when I didn't like the product. However, this time I felt compelled to warn buyers about amazing arms. I am a size 6-8 and ordered the size medium, it was way too small so I ordered a large, even though I have never ordered a big size. When I tried it on, it barely fit and wouldn't even cover my bra. I am only a 36C and actually slender on top. What a ridiculous product where a size 6 can't fit into a large. Who is this product for?

    TERRIBLE PRODUCT

    • Stuarts Draft, VA,
    • Jan 6, 2015

I purchased (by their chart) a large. It was very small does not fit bust. Reordered XL which I never wear, and item will not stay up on my shoulders. Concept was good, but this product is a "big thumbs down". Would not recommend this to anyone.

    Do not waste your money!

    • May 19, 2014

Amazing Arms in an “As Seen on TV” product, which tends to have lower levels of customer satisfaction.

Numerous complaints of poor-fitting, poor quality fabric, lengthy shipping times, and rude/unhelpful customer service.

Just a waste of money!

A costly mistake for me - not thinking I had the nerve to return the product - still waiting for my credit on my card.

And the telemarketers that called - I 'm watching my statement to make sure they do not try to charge anything. I sent a letter to amazing arms - for them to cancel that transaction - I know that was a waste.

I usually don't write reviews - but this product and service really bothered me. Especially with the telemarketing calls.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
