About Biotica 365 Pro
Biotica 365 is a probiotic formula that’s claimed to help replenish the good bacteria in your body, promote healthy gut and brain function, support the ability to recall information, to improve focus, mood, and memory, and to reduce the prevalence of brain-related stressors such as inflammation, immune function, and neurotoxin production.
In order to accomplish this, each dose of Biotica 365 Pro is claimed to contain 20 billion colony-forming units (CFU) of 8 different bacteria strains, all obtained from plant-grown sources. On top of this, Biotica 365 Pro is claimed to feature fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which provide “a source of fuel for a healthy intestinal tract and a thriving gut bacterial population.”
Biotica 365 Pro’s veggie-based capsules are claimed to be vegan and vegetarian-friendly, and manufactured in the USA under strict CGMP manufacturing guidelines.
In order to begin experiencing these benefits, the company recommends taking 2 capsules of Biotica 365 Pro each morning with a meal.
Ask yourself this though: Once you clear all the marketing hype away, can you expect the bacteria found in Biotica 365 Pro to provide you with all of these benefits, or is it an overpriced waste of money? Consider the following:
What Bacteria Strains Are Found in Biotica 365 Pro?
According to Biotica 365 Pro’s supplement facts, the probiotic contains the following strains:
- Lactobacillus acidophilus – One of the most popular bacteria strains used to treat IBS-related inflammation, decreased allergic response, inhibition of pathogenic bacteria, and more. This is true for most lactobacillus strains.
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus
- Bifidobacterium lactis – A strain that’s naturally resistant to stomach acid and can reduce diarrhea, inflammation, and allergic responses, as can most within the bifidobacterium family.
- Lactobacillus casei – In addition to the benefits provided by acidophilus, casei may be able to reduce the presence of H. Pylori and salmonella. This strain is also particularly useful for those with lactose intolerance.
- Bifidobacterium breve
- Bifidobacterium longum
- Bifidobacterium bifidum
- Streptococcus thermophilus – Used heavily in yogurt and cheese production, this bacteria strain may be useful for improving childhood growth rates and reducing instances of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
- Fructooligosaccharides 440mg
Will Biotica 365 Work as Advertised?
As we detailed in our article Everything You Wanted to Know About Probiotics, but Didn’t Know to Ask though, probiotics have been used for decades to effectively treat a wide variety of digestion-related conditions, including “diarrheal symptoms, colic in babies, lung infections, ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome, H pylori and bacterial vaginal infections, and eczema.”
However, here’s where things get a little tricky. This is because there is insufficient clinical evidence showing that probiotics can provide relief from any other conditions, or provide any other benefits, especially the brain-related ones claimed by Biotica 365 Pro’s manufacturer.
Granted, it’s technically possible that you may experience slightly less brain fog (if any) as a secondary benefit of better gut bacteria balance, but they will not provide these benefits directly.
In short, outside of improved digestion a relief from related symptoms, it’s almost certainly the case that you won’t experience any brain benefits by using Biotica 365 Pro.
How Does Biotica 365 Pro Stack Up Against the Competition?
Here at HighYa, we’ve many of the most popular probiotic supplements available on the market, including ProbioSlim, PerfectBiotics, TruBiotics, and more. And when it comes down to it, the reality is that many of them are very similar. As such, among the numerous brands, there are generally 2 primary differences:
- The number of colony-forming units (CFUs), which is a fancy way of estimating “the number of viable bacteria or fungal cells in a sample.” In other words, the higher the CFU, the more active cells the supplement contains, which can provide an increased potential for experiencing benefits.
- The type and number of bacteria strains (we explained many of Biotica 365 Pro’s strains above).
From this perspective, Biotica 365 Pro contains slightly more bacteria strains than the average probiotic, as well as a higher CFU count at 20 billion.
Does the Fructooligosaccharide in Biotica 365 Make a Difference?
On top of this, Biotica 365 Pro claims that the included fructooligosaccharides act as “a source of fuel for a healthy intestinal tract and a thriving gut bacterial population,” although the reality is that all probiotics contain some type of food substrate; otherwise, the living bacteria cells would die.
However, there doesn’t appear to be any immediately apparent benefits for using fructooligosaccharides in lieu of other food substrates.
Biotica 365 Pro Side Effects
Most customers experience little-to-no side effects from the use of probiotics, although for those who do, common side effects include increased bloating and gassiness. However, these should typically subside within a few days.
As with any supplement though, you’ll always want to speak with your physician prior to beginning.
No Online Customer Reviews for Biotica 365 Pro
There weren’t any online reviews for Biotica 365 Pro at the time of our research, as the probiotic was a very new product.
However, we did learn that Biotica 365 Pro is manufactured by Ultimate Media Systems, Inc (dba Nutrinity) based out of Tampa, FL, although neither was listed with the Better Business Bureau (as of 7/1/15), and very little information was available elsewhere online.

Should You Buy Biotica 365 Pro?
Chopping to the point: While the number of CFUs contained in Biotica 365 certainly separates it from much of the competition, the product’s newness (and lack of online customer reviews) and its fairly high price would lead us to recommend searching for local probiotic options prior to placing your order.
