About Complete Biotics
If you’ve recently been searching around the Internet for probiotics, you may have come across Complete Biotics. If so, you’re probably wondering whether or not this self-proclaimed concentrated “super probiotic” really can support your intestinal and immune health, and provide you with all the associated benefits.
So what’s the bottom line about Complete Biotics? Can it really help improve your digestion, and is it worth your hard-earned money? Let’s take a look at what the facts have to say.
Complete Biotics Details
Similar to ProbioSlim, Whole Body Keybiotics, and many others, Complete Biotics is a once daily probiotic supplement that claims to help reintroduce beneficial bacteria into your digestive system, which can help improve digestion, increase energy, promote a better night’s sleep, boost your immune system and metabolism, give you healthier-looking skin, and more.
Unlike these other probiotics however, Complete Biotics claims to feature a total of 34 billion CFUs across 14 unique bacteria strains. While the product’s website does not include a full list of ingredients, we found a third-party site during our research that listed the following strains:
- Lactobacillus Acidophilus
- Bifidobacterium Lactis
- Lactobacillus Plantarum
- Lactobacillus Rhamnosus
- Lactobacillus Salivarius
- Lactobacillus Casei
- Lactobacillus Bulgaricus
- Bifidobacterium Breve
- Lactobacillus Paracasei
- Lactococcus Lactis
- Lactobacillus Brevis
- Streptococcus Thermophilus
- Bifidobacterium Bifidum
- Bifidobacterium Longum
According to the Complete Biotics website, their bacteria remain dormant until ingested, which means that it can be stored without refrigeration. In addition, the company claims that their probiotic supplement contains only high-quality ingredients, is manufactured in the USA, and is tested by an independent third party lab to ensure quality, purity, and potency. With this in mind, Complete Biotics is claimed to be safe for use and free of side effects, including bad breath.
When using Complete Biotics, you should take one 500mg capsule daily, preferably with food.
Complete Biotics Pricing & Refund Policy
Complete Biotics is available only through the manufacturer, and in three different buying options:
- 1-Month Supply: $39
- 3-Month Supply: $89
- 6-Month Supply: $159
According to the product’s website, all Complete Biotics orders over $50 qualify for free shipping. However, even when we chose the 1-Month Supply at $39, no charges for shipping and handling appeared on the total page.
All Complete Biotics purchases come with a 90-day return policy, less shipping and handling charges. In order to initiate the refund process or to verify S&H charges, you’ll need to contact the company at 888-575-6635.
What’s the Bottom Line About Complete Biotics?
Now that you know more about Complete Biotics and the claims it makes, should you spend your hard-earned money on it?
First, as we mentioned in our recent article Everything You Wanted to Know About Probiotics, But Didn’t Know to Ask, probiotics as a whole have a decent amount of scientific evidence showing that the beneficial bacteria they contain can help improve digestion. And by improving this function, you can then experience a variety of secondary benefits such as increased energy, improved sleep, and more.
With this said, unlike some other nutritional supplements, Complete Biotics appears to be reasonably priced, does not automatically enroll you in an autoship program, and their website does a fairly good job of listing clinical studies to support their claims. However, since the product’s website doesn’t provide a full list of ingredients, we were required to go elsewhere to locate this information.
On top of this, despite their claim that they’re “a trusted name in the health supplement industry,” the company appears to be very new, so we’re unsure how they feel justified in making this assertion. To support this fact, we learned that the Complete Biotics URL was registered in March 2014 and their LLC was filed with the state of CA on May 8, 2014. As such, there were no online reviews available at the time of this writing in order to gauge overall customer satisfaction, although some of the most common complaints associated with other probiotics are bloating and gassiness.
Bottom line: While probiotics as a whole have been shown to be mostly effective and are considered safe for nearly everyone, the lack of online customer reviews for Complete Biotics may mean you’ll want to go with a more established brand as your first choice.
