About Copper Hands

Copper Hands is a pair of “As Seen on TV” fingerless gloves that are “infused with real copper” to give your muscles the support they need, while keeping your hands cool and comfortable all day long. As a result, the product, also refered to as the Arthritis Gloves, is claimed to increase circulation, decrease pain, and other arthritis related relief.

Like Stone Wave, Ankle Genie, and many other products, Copper Hands is manufactured by Telebrands, Inc. based out of Fairfield, NJ. The company holds an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau, despite having more than 1,600 complaints over the past three years. Regarding Copper Hands specifically, there are no online customer reviews as of the time of this writing. This is likely due to the product’s relative newness, which is supported by the fact that its URL was just registered in January 2014.

How Copper Hands Works

According to the manufacturer, Copper Hands was developed to help “provide soothing comfort for joints and muscles in your fingers and hands,” while the ultra-light, breathable fabric infused at the microscopic level with copper offers the support you need, and the coolness you demand.

The company claims that as soon as you put on your Copper Hands, you’ll receive immediate support, increased circulation, and reduced pain. In addition, the open fingertip design of Copper Hands allows you to go about your normal day, while the grip dots embedded on palm provide you with the traction you need to open just about anything.

Copper Hands Pricing & Refund Policy

Copper Hands is priced at $12.99, plus $6.99 shipping and handling. As with most “As Seen on TV” products, you’ll be offered a second pair of Copper Hands, as long as you pay an additional $6.99 shipping and handling. This will bring your total to $26.97.

Again, like nearly all “As Seen on TV” products, Copper Hands comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, less shipping and handling charges. Simply contact customer service at 855-668-1655 to begin the process.

However, keep in mind that if you decide to return the product, you’ll immediately lose $13.98 in S&H, in addition to any charges you incur shipping the product back to the manufacturer. Most “As Seen on TV” manufacturers understand this is a strong deterrent against returning their products. For more buying tips when it comes to “As Seen on TV” products, see our guide here.

Pros

  • Claims to be infused with copper, which provides support while keeping your hands cool.
  • Claims to offer increased circulation and immediate support as soon as you put them on.
  • 30-day money back guarantee.

Cons

  • New product, so no online reviews yet.
  • Copper Hands is an “As Seen on TV” product, which tend to carry lower satisfaction ratings than more mainstream products.
  • 30-day return policy does not include S&H charges.

Bottom Line – Are the Copper Hands Worth Buying?

If you’re experiencing poor circulation in your hands, it could be due to a more severe problem than an inexpensive “As Seen on TV” product can properly address. Instead of spending $30 of your hard-earned money on something that may or may not work, you may want to speak with your physician.

  • Great but...

I don't have arthritis or anything like that, but I am very thin and bony, and my hands get painful in the cold Northeast. I bought these because they were the only thin gloves the store had, paid too much, $30 for just one pair, but I LOVE THEM.

Yes, the stitching is very poor, noticed that immediately, so I am gentle when removing them from my hands, and will re-stitch them at some point I'm sure. However these are so "oh my gosh" comfortable, I forget I'm wearing them, and they are thin enough to be the inner glove when wearing a more durable outer glove, best of both in that configuration. I'm a heavy computer user, and the open fingers let me work with them on, very good.

I wish they would have better quality stitching, then I would give a full 5-star rating. I highly recommend for any number of uses.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Best Ever

I've been having trouble with my hands cramping and hurting, so I decided to go to Walmart and look for something that would help me with my issue. I was walking down the clearance aisle when I noticed a box labeled Copper Hands. I read the label and decided to buy them. When I got home, I opened the box and tried them on. I haven't had any trouble with my hands since. These really do work.

    Reduced pain, stiffness and swelling

I have type 2 diabetes, diabetic neuropathy and Lupus. I'm a dog groomer and too young to retire so I needed help quick. I was having swelling, tingling, numbness and pain in my hands that would radiate up into my elbows while I was grooming. At night the pain would wake me up. By morning I couldn't open doors, hold onto anything or close my hands completely. I bought Copper Hands at Walmart. Wore them for the two days I was off. My hands felt relief from the moment I put them on. I still have trouble closing my hands completely but the swelling and pain has reduced. My only complaint is the poor stitching. There was a hole in the stitching of one fingers, brand new out of the box. The stitching around the end of each finger hole was very loose and strings were poking out everywhere. So I'm sitting here now, reinforcing most of the threads. Not fun for someone with hand trouble. Other than that, I like them.

    Poor Product

I have rheumatoid, but whether or not the copper works or not isn't my issue! I was needing relief from pain so I drove 20 minutes to Walmart, and bought a pair. My hand fit the scale on the box, yet as soon as I put one on, the seams broke!

Nothing less than a crap job in the stitching. So now I've spent 30 minutes sewing them, did I mention how much pain I was in? If it wasn't for the gas I'd use on top of what I did, I would have returned them! A blind 3 year old could had done a better job sewing!

    Copper hands

I have worn the gloves steady since I bought them, and I LOVE them! My hands go numb every night, but since I have been wearing my Copper Hands gloves, my hands are not going numb at all. I have been dealing with this issue for 26 years, and this is the best product to use, and that has actually worked. Thank You.

    Very Pleased!

    • San Antonio, TX,
    • Feb 6, 2016

I have gone through one pair of Copper Hands, and had to buy a second pair this week. Benefits include compression of hands and joints, to combat my mild arthritis and weary hands from data entry all day long. What a difference. I don't start work without my Copper Hands. The only problem is, the gloves catch on staples and other objects. This starts small tearing, and eventually leads to loss of integrity in the fingers. That is the only reason I was forced to replace them.

They wash and dry easily with your regular laundry. I am so pleased, and have referred friends and co-workers. I bought my Copper Hands in Wal Mart, but you can save almost three dollars a pair by ordering them online.

We work in a warehouse environment, and I have worked with my hands for over 20 years. We've been wearing these gloves for two days now, and the first night I actually slept through. I can definitely tell the difference.

    Aching Hands

    • NM,
    • Jan 25, 2016

I'm 35 years old and shouldn't be feeling the pain I feel in my hands. I was telling my mother that my hands would really hurt at the end of the day. And in the morning when I wake up my fingers are so stiff it hurts to get them moving. My mother had some Copper Hands and told me to sleep with them on. So I have been for the past few nights. I was surprised to see that in the mornings my hands are not as stiff and less painful. I really like these gloves and will continue to use them for as long as I can.
