About Customized Fat Loss for Men
Created by fitness author and health advocate Kyle Leon, Customized Fat Loss for Men is a “revolutionary approach” to targeting fat loss (specifically belly fat), boosting testosterone, and creating a faster metabolism. As a result, you’re guaranteed to improve your lean muscle, increase your energy, and boost your sense of wellbeing.
To accomplish this, the Customized Fat Loss for Men program features a unique three-phase approach involving nutrition and training strategies, custom nutritional software, and “advanced customization” to help you reach your goals. The program can even accommodate all food preferences and sensitivities, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and more.
Has the new year got you motivated to get healthy, jacked, and lean? Great! But will you see results (and keep your motivation high) by using the Customized Fat Loss for Men program, or will it be one big letdown, only to put you back in this same situation next year? That’s what we’re here to help you figure out.
To get you started off on the right foot, let’s take a closer look at how Customized Fat Loss for Men’s three different phases work.
Customized Fat Loss for Men’s 3-Phase Program
Here’s a brief overview of what’s involved in each phase of the Customized Fat Loss for Men program:
Phase 1 – Calorie and Macronutrient Allocation
In this phase, you’ll first be shown how to identify your “true body type” (no information about how this is accomplished, but we’ll talk more about it again shortly). Then, you’ll enter this information, along with other factors like your age, weight, height, and more, into the custom nutritional software.
From there, the software will “determine your ideal ratio of protein, carbs and fat you'll be consuming during this phase of the program.” And by following this advice, you’ll be able to “flip on your natural fat burning switch more easily.”
Phase 2 – Customized Workout Plan
Next, many of these same characteristics will be used to design a workout program that’s tailored to your exercise history, capabilities, and preferences, which will help you strengthen and sculpt lean muscle mass.
This includes 50 coaching lessons that focus on showing you proper form and technique for the included resistance training exercises.
Phase 3 – Advanced Customization
After completing the previous two phases, this final phase will “take your body transformation to the next level” through advanced nutrition and workout strategies, video lessons, and personal email consultation. You’ll also learn how to maintain your results over the long term.
Let’s quickly break down a couple of the terms we just read about.
What Is Body Type? How About Resistance Training?
Everyone on the planet falls into 1 of 3 different body types (also known as body shapes):
- Ectomorph – Ectomorphs have a thin (some might say skinny) build, with narrow hips and clavicles, small joints, and long limbs.
- Endormorph – On the other end of the spectrum, endomorphs have a blocky build, with a thick rib cage, wide joints and hips, and shorter limbs.
- Mesomorph – Falling somewhere in the middle are mesomorphs, with wide clavicles, narrow waists, and thinner joints.
Without going into too much detail, the fact of the matter is that most of us probably have some characteristics of each body type. But your majority body type can have a big impact on “how you respond to food intake and your hormonal and sympathetic nervous system (SNS) characteristics. These factors can be linked to metabolic differences between individuals, and influence how you respond to diet and training.” As a result, it’s important that you understand which category you fall in before you start working out.
But you don’t have to purchase Customized Fat Loss for Men to do this. In fact, the article referenced above can help you determine your body type for free!
Moving on, as its name implies, resistance training involves developing your muscles (whether you’re looking to get lean or grow muscle size) using “dumbbells, rubber exercise tubing, your own body weight, bricks, bottles of water, or any other object that causes the muscles to contract.”
Here’s the thing: Resistance training only references what you’ll be doing, but not the goal you’re trying to reach. For example, if you’re only looking to increase strength, then you should use high weight and low reps. But if you want to boost muscle endurance, then you should use low weight and high reps, with hypertrophy (i.e. muscle building) somewhere in between.
But regardless of what your goal is, it’s tough to build muscle and lose weight at the same time, since the former generally involves eating more calories than normal, while the other involves eating less. So we’re uncertain exactly what kinds of results you can realistically expect with the Customized Fat Loss for Men system.
But how much will you pay for it?
Is Customized Fat Loss for Men a Solid Value?
The entire Customized Fat Loss System for Men can be purchased for a one-time payment of $37. Keep in mind that the program is only downloadable, and doesn’t include any physical products.
The program is sold through Clickbank (a type of retailer than specializes in these types of e-books—more about this next), which means that it comes with a 60-day refund policy. In order to request one, you’ll need to call customer service at 800-390-6035.
We’ve reviewed dozens of these Clickbank-type e-books here at HighYa, including Navajo Restore My Hearing System, Smart Blood Sugar, and Restore Lost Hair, and they almost always come with very low online customer ratings. Why? Most people claim that much of the same information can be found elsewhere online for free, and that it’s not as “revolutionary” as these authors claim.
But is this the case with Customized Fat Loss for Men?
Who is Kyle Leon? Does He Have a Good Online Reputation?
As we mentioned at the beginning, Kyle Leon claims to be a leading fitness author and health advocate, who has created other programs like Venus Factor, in addition to Customized Fat Loss for Men.
If you type Kyle’s name into any search engine, you’ll immediately be met with 62 complaints (as of the time of this writing) on PissedConsumer. Most referenced difficulty accessing/downloading the content, unhelpful information, and no response from customer service. Of those who bought it, a forum thread on Bodybuilding.com also referenced many of these same concerns.
We also came across 1 review for the program’s Android app on Amazon, where it was rated one star. The reviewer noted: “Waste of time. It's basically voluntary ad-ware you're installing on your tablet or phone.”
From a professional perspective, Customized Fat Loss for Men was reviewed by WeightRater.com, who gave the program a 2-star rating. Why? Because the meal plan is only “customizable” using the limited number of foods in the database, and none of the promised exercises were included. Also, like we learned through other websites, “The backend is erratic and the support team is unreachable which, on occasions, makes the product unusable.”
Finally, Customized Fat Loss for Men is produced by KLF International Inc., although they weren’t listed with the Better Business Bureau at the time of our research.
Is There Anything “Revolutionary” About Customized Fat Loss for Men?
Given everything we’ve learned today, here’s how we’d put it: Will Customized Fat Loss for Men be effective for simultaneously losing fat and building muscle? Sure, we’re willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.
But do we think it’s likely? Based on the feedback for Kyle’s other programs, we’d have our doubts. In either case though, we think you could probably find much of the same information online after a few minutes of digging, without paying a dime.
Considering this, if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, we’d recommend making an appointment with your doctor, a professional nutritionist, or a local fitness trainer (or all three, if possible). This way, you really can create a customized weight loss/muscle building program that will give you the best results in the least amount of time.
Sure, it might cost more upfront, but it would almost certainly provide more value for your money over the long run.
