About Dermajeun Anti Aging Serum
Dermajeun Anti Aging Serum makes a lot of claims, including that it’s “better than Botox,” works as an “injection-free solution for younger looking skin,” and astoundingly, that it can help you “look up to 10 years younger.”
To do this, Dermajeun’s manufacturer claims their Anti Aging Serum contains revolutionary, cutting-edge, 100% natural ingredients that rejuvenate, hydrate, and replenish your skin.
Based on innovative science, this revolutionary formula helps your body produce more collagen and support its underlying dermal matrix. As a result, you can expect tight, smooth skin, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and a decrease in the appearance of dark circles. On top of this, Dermajeun’s antioxidants can combat free radical damage caused by stress and environmental factors.
Is there any truth to all of this, or is Dermajeun just a slightly different version of an age-old scam? We’ll be sure to explore it all in this review.
How Do Collagen & Elastin Help You Look Younger?
Collagen and elastin are two of the most common proteins in the human body. Collagen is most often found within connective tissue like cartilage, fat, tendons, and so forth, while elastin (since it’s elastic, like a rubber band) is generally found in areas that need to expand and contract, such as the skin, artery walls, etc.
Collagen’s main benefit is that it provides strength, while elastin provides softness and elasticity.
When we’re young, our bodies have plenty of collagen and elastin. But as we get older, we produce less and less of these key proteins, leading to saggy, lifeless skin. But is there anything contained in Dermajeun Anti Aging Serum that can change the situation?
Will Dermajeun Really Boost Your Collagen & Elastin Production?
All we know about Dermajeun is that is contains a proprietary formula of “clinically validated ingredients” that boost collagen and elastin production, including:
If you’ve explored a number of anti-aging products lately, you’ve probably encountered Argireline before, which is supposed to inhibit the release of neurotransmitters and relax the facial muscles, leading to smoothed lines and wrinkles. However, “proof of the ingredient’s benefits is scarce.”
Glycolic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) commonly found in beauty products (even inexpensive, OTC ones from your local pharmacy) that can exfoliate the outer layer of skin.
While Vitamin E is an essential nutrient, there isn’t enough clinical evidence showing that topical application can reduce the signs of aging. And while aloe has some moisturizing and UV protection properties, unless your skin is excessively dry, it likely won’t provide the level of efficacy claimed by Dermajeun’s manufacturer.
Effectiveness aside, how much will it cost to get your hands on some Dermajeun Anti Aging Serum?
Dermajeun’s “Free” Trial & Autoship Enrollment
Here’s how they hook you: First, you’ll only pay $5.95 to have a full 30-day supply of Dermajeun shipped to your door. Buried in the fine print, however, is the fact that 14 days after placing your order, you’ll be charged the mind-bogglingly high price of $89.95.
What’s more, you’ll also be enrolled in the company’s autoship program, meaning you’ll keep receive a fresh supply of Dermajeun once per month, and your card will be charged $89.95 each time.
According to Dermajeun’s Terms, you can request a refund within 30 days by calling customer service at 866-545-7675. But we think you might experience a bigger problem accomplishing this than you’re expecting. We’ll explain why next.
Anti-Aging Products Like Dermajeun Are a Dime a Dozen
If you’ve been a HighYa reader for long, you know that we specialize in online-only anti-aging products like Dermajeun, so we’ve reviewed a ton. Some of the more popular options include Encante Cream, True Derma Lift, Suisse Anti Aging Serum, and more.
If you take a look at each of these websites, you’ll notice that—except for the product name and picture—they’re essentially identical. Why? Based on our research, these companies pull down a website after too much negative customer feedback accrues, change the name and the picture, upload a new website using the same template, and start the process all over again. What’s got customers so upset?
Whether we’re talking about the product above or any other template-based product, they all come with ultra-low ratings from customers, based on three main complaints:
- Failure to word as advertised, or at all. In many instances, customers experienced over-dried skin or minor reactions (redness, rashes, etc.).
- High price. Obviously, Dermajeun isn’t cheap, and it’s a ton of money to pay for something that provides no real world benefits.
- Poor customer service. If customers want to cancel their trial or request a refund, they’re often met with a brick wall when calling the company.
In fact, it’s our opinion that this poor customer service is the lynchpin in these companies’ business model. Basically, they’re hoping you’ll give up in frustration and they’ll get to hang on to your hard-earned money.
So, should you roll the dice on Dermajeun Anti Aging Serum?
Will Dermajeun Shrink Your Bank Account Like a Prune?
Given everything we’ve discussed here, it’s pretty clear that we think you’ll be gambling with your money by placing an order for Dermajeun. Are we willing to admit that we could be wrong, and that Dermajeun is the exception to the rule? Of course.
But do we necessarily think this is the case? Since anti-aging products that contain many of the same ingredients as Dermajeun can be found locally, often more much less, we think it would probably be easier (not to mention cheaper) to explore some of these options before placing your order.
This way, you might be able to achieve many of the same results, without paying too much or worry about feeling like you were scammed. In the mean time, be sure to learn how to take great care of your skin and read through The Big Skin Cream Con!
