About Easy View HD
Easy View HD is a visor attachment for your car that asserts it will stop the blinding sun or dangerous glare from ruining your commute. They claim it installs quickly, fits on any visor, and will also safely reduce oncoming headlights at night.
Easy View HD is a company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and not rated or accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
How Easy View HD Works
They describe Easy View HD as a “clear polycarbonate specially tinted to reduce sunlight and glare”, which essentially means it’s a piece of colored plastic; there are 2 clips at the top. To use Easy View HD, they say no special tools are necessary, just clip to your existing car visor.
When driving into the sun, they tell you to flip the Easy View HD down instead of the regular visor. They claim this will dramatically improve your vision, and won’t block your view like the standard one that comes with your car. They add you can use it day or night, whenever you can’t see because of bright light.
The infomercial shows what appears to be a driver’s seat view of a morning commute in blinding sun, a late-afternoon drive, and a similar scene at night. It then switches to a filter which they claim simulates the Easy Vision HD view. In all cases, the bright sun or headlight glare is greatly reduced, offering a clear picture of the road ahead.
Easy View HD includes:
- Easy View HD visor
- One “free” (extra S & H)
Easy View HD Pricing, Shipping, and Returns
They state Easy View is $10 plus shipping, and you get one free with your order, but a closer examination reveals that the extra visor is not really “free”. Instead, they double your shipping and handling fees automatically and give you 2 Easy View HDs. This means the total price is $25.90 for 2, $15.90 of which is non-refundable even if you decide to return within 30 days (and you would also have to pay to ship them back.)
Bottom Line: Is Easy View HD a Scam?
Easy View HD seems to work as promised, but we feel the expensive shipping and handling fees (as mentioned above) make it not worth the price. As always, we recommend buying the Easy View HD at your local Wal-Mart or Walgreens in order to avoid unnecessary "Processing & Shipping " charges as well as reputably poor customer service frustration.

Waste of money.
I buy all the "as seen on TV" stuff and I don't know why. This visor is basically just like the HD glasses (but doesn't look as stupid) they made the same claims and FYI it doesn't work as advertised. It's annoying and doesn't help your eye sight at night or day. I suggest that you get your eyes checked or not drive if vision is such an issue. I found a good eye doctor and its been well worth it. The new solution easily clips on your visor.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
