About EpiTouch

EpiTouch claims to be the first precision epliator for an affordable price. They say the handheld hair remover is fast, gentle, and is guaranteed to keep skin smooth for weeks. They state it’s easy to remove hair at the roots, is virtually pain-free, and can tackle both coarse hair as well as the delicate bikini area.

EpiTouch does not list any specific information about the company that sells the product. Their website is created and run by Digital Target Marketing, a gun-for-hire marketing firm that specializes in infomercial products such as these.

How EpiTouch Works

EpiTouch appears to look like a small epilator, which is a tweezer-type device that plucks out multiple hairs at once by gripping and pulling from the roots. To use, similar to NoNo Pro, they say to simply switch it on (it appears to be battery-powered) and use on the area of the body you want to get plucky with. This includes under the lip or chin, along the cheekbone, around the eyebrows and pelvic region.

An epilator works by rotating discs that come apart and together, grasping hair follicles and yanking from the roots. The EpiTouch appears to use a similar method, albeit one that they state has a precision design. They claim the EpiTouch is less painful than plucking with tweezers or using waxes or depilatory creams which they say can have an unpleasant smell and leave rashes. They claim it works on all types of hair - short, long, thick, thin, coarse, or fine.

Because the hairs are removed at the root level, they claim hair stays away for weeks longer than shaving or trimming. When hair does regrow, it tends to be finer, making it less noticeable and easier to remove.

Each EpiTouch Order includes:

  • EpiTouch epilator
  • Quick-Dry Hair Wrap (extra S & H)

EpiTouch Pricing, Shipping, and Returns

EpiTouch claims it is $10 plus $6.99 S & H, but when you click “Process Order” you are also buying a Quick-Dry Hair Wrap (essentially a towel) which they charge an extra $4.99 in shipping, making the total $21.98 for the EpiTouch and hair wrap. You have 30 days to try your EpiTouch - if you don’t like it, return it for your $10 back (but not the $11.98 in shipping.)

Pros

  • Epilation more effective than shaving

Cons

  • Can be painful, especially with sensitive skin
  • ASOTV products often of questionable quality
  • No customer service information
  • Expensive S & H
