About Formula Focus

Formula Focus is a nootropic supplement that claims to use a one-of-a-kind blend of 100% natural, pure ingredients to help you think faster and sharper, increase long and short-term memory, and deliver “turbo charged” energy.

In fact, we’re told that Formula Focus’ clinical trials have shown that it can boost brainpower up to 89.2% and focus by a whopping 121%!

To accomplish this, the company claims that Formula Focus helps your brain cells function more efficiently by ensuring they get all the vitamins they need—and in the exact dosages they need. As such, the supplement promises to “improve all areas of cognitive growth” and provide “effective cerebral enhancement,” regardless of age or gender.

We all live in a busy world, so it makes sense that you’re looking to give your brain a boost, which can help you function more effectively and efficiently. But will Formula Focus deliver on its promises, or will it just leave you searching for more effective options? Our goal here is to help you answer these questions.

How Does Your Brain Process Information?

While this topic is far bigger than we could hope to cover this review, it’s important to quickly lay some groundwork before diving into Formula Focus’ claims.

In a nutshell, your brain gathers information from sensory organs and converts it into electrochemical signals. The “electro” part comes from the fact that your brain cells (known as neurons) communicate with other neurons using short bursts of electricity, which are even used to store short and long-term memories.

These neurons also communicate with the rest of the body using chemical signals known as neurotransmitters—one of the most common of these is acetylcholine, which many nootropics like Formula Focus claim to increase inside the body.

From this perspective, is there anything contained in Formula Focus that will help your neurons function better, whether through electrical or chemical means?

Will Formula Focus’ Ingredients Boost Your Brainpower?

This is certainly an important (if not the most important) question you can ask about any nutritional supplement. But when it comes to Formula Focus, it’s impossible to answer. Why? Because, despite all the big claims made on their website, we’re not told about a single ingredient the supplement contains.

Now, scrolling to the bottom of one of Formula Focus’ websites, we encountered a list of citations that referenced ingredients like bee pollen, propolis, Manuka honey, and tyrosine. Without a label though, we can’t be sure how much of each ingredient the supplement contains.

Important note: There seems to be another supplement with the same name sold through Amazon, which does provide a full list of ingredients and dosages. However, none of the ingredients mentioned above are found in the formulation.

One Amazon reviewer claimed the supplement was recently formulated, but again, the packaging and the ingredients don’t match up, so it doesn’t appear to be the same product.

Regardless, the reality is that there isn’t enough clinical evidence available showing that bee pollen, propolis, or Manuka honey can provide any kinds of benefits—those claimed by Formula Focus’ manufacturer, or otherwise. Tyrosine, on the other hand, may be effective for boosting mental performance and memory, but this might only work under stressful conditions like military training.

In either case, we think the fact that Formula Focus’ manufacturer doesn’t clearly list all their ingredients and dosages is a big red flag. We’ll come back around to this thought in the final section, but for now, let’s talk about possible side effects.

Will You Experience Any Side Effects From Formula Focus?

Although raw propolis is obtained from the buds of poplar and cone-bearing trees, commercials versions are typically obtained from beehives. As such, if you have a bee allergy, you might want to stay away from Formula Focus.

And obviously, if you have a pollen allergy, bee pollen probably shouldn’t be your first choice of supplements.

Outside of this, you probably won’t experience anything worse than mild digestive upset from the ingredients found in Formula Focus (at least the ones we know about).

How Much Does Formula Focus Cost?

Formula Focus is available in the following quantities:

  • 1 Bottle: $68
  • 3 Bottles: $119.85
  • 5 Bottles: $149.75

Important note: Regardless of which option you choose, according to the company’s Terms, you’ll be enrolled in their autoship program. Here, you’ll receive a new bottle of Formula Focus once per month and charged $39.95 each time.

All Formula Focus orders come with a 30-day money back guarantee, less S&H charges and a $15 restocking fee. In order to be eligible, the bottle bust be unopened.

To request a refund or stop your automatic shipments, customer service can be reached at 855-457-0806 or support@orderff.com.

How does this price compare to the competition?

Are There Other Nootropics Like Formula Focus?

As you might have already learned, there are literally hundreds of different nootropic supplements you can find online, including popular options like Adderin, Geniux, Brain Storm Elite, and Neuroflexyn, not to mention all the others available at local retailers.

From a price perspective, you’ll find that most of these options fall in the $40 to $50 range. As far as ingredients, Formula Focus’ pollen and bee-oriented ingredients are unique, although most of these supplements contain largely unproven ingredients that customers generally claim don’t deliver on their claims.

Speaking of which…

What Can We Learn From Formula Focus Reviews?

As discussed earlier, there is another nootropic supplement with the same name on Amazon, which had more than 110 customer reviews at the time of our research. Again though, since we can’t confirm this is the same product we’re reviewing here, it doesn’t make sense to talk about feedback.

What about for other popular nootropics? Overall, the vast majority come with low satisfaction ratings (often 2 stars or less), with common complaints citing failure to work, high prices, and poor customer service (typically difficulty canceling recurring shipments and/or processing refunds).

Now, it’s important to note that we didn’t test the Formula Focus supplement (or their customer service department) directly, although based on their similarly vague claims and automatic autoship enrollment, it might not be unreasonable to expect the same.

Will You Get Limitless-Like Results From Formula Focus?

If you spent any time researching Formula Focus, you probably encountered this landing page, which looks convincingly like the real CNN website. It even goes so far as to include a 2-minute segment about some kind of new “smart drug” that’s pending FDA approval.

What’s the problem? Every link on this page leads to an ordering screen (which is one sure sign of a scam website), so it’s pretty clear the company is using CNN’s name recognition to make you think this is a legitimate report. However, you’ll notice the narrator never actually mentions the name Focus Formula, so it appears to a referencing something completely different.

Ultimately, only you can decide if it’s worth taking a risk on Formula Focus. But given what we just learned, along with the missing ingredients, automatic enrollment in recurring shipments, clinically unsubstantiated claims, and higher price than much of the competition, we think your money might be better spent making an appointment with your doctor to discuss any memory problems, versus placing an order for Formula Focus.

Did you order a bottle of Formula Focus? Did it deliver results, or do you feel it was a waste of money? Give us the details in your review below!

    Do not buy these capsules!

I ordered a product that I felt would improve my memory. I did receive it, but I didn't see any improvement, so I never reordered it again.

I didn't realize they were charging me monthly $39.95 for this product that I never received. As I searched my charges on my credit card, I realized they had charged me $39.95 for six months. I called them, and they were very prepared to give me this insane response that I joined as a member and was charged $39.95 for access online to "Brain Games." Never mind about the product capsules that you had requested, they say they only give you those as a treat because you are a joined member of "Brain Games" and only when you call them monthly to let them know that you would like the formula focus capsules, only then will they send them to you.

This is an outright scam. I will call the Better Business Bureau about them. By the way, go to their website. They advertised these capsules not their "Brain Games" membership.

DO NOT buy these capsules. You will receive them once. and forever be a scammed and unhappy person belonging to phantom games that don't exist.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    My money, their money

I ordered one jar of Focus. My statement came to my email, and I was charged for everything you can buy. A total of $243.65. I call them half an hour later with no luck (Saturday). On Tuesday (because Monday was a holiday) I called, and they said "it has been shipped." They didn't have a good service department, but a great shipping department. I''ll let you know how much I get ripped off for. They couldn't give me a shipping track number. She told me it had shipped without checking. I think she just tells everyone that answer.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
