About House of Muscle
Whether you’re an avid bodybuilder or a complete beginner looking to boost your performance, you’ve likely encountered advertisements for House of Muscle. This bodybuilding-focused company manufactures a wide variety of supplements, while their website features nutrition tips, workouts, and a regular newsletter.
But are House of Muscle supplements worth your hard-earned money? Let’s do some heavy lifting and see what the facts have to say.
House of Muscle Details
House of Muscle manufactures more than 20 nutritional supplements, all of which are claimed to be scientifically researched and formulated. These include:
- Whey Protein Isolate (the same primary ingredient found in Isopure products)
- Omega Fatty Acid
- Anabolic Support Complexes
- Muscle Building Stacks
- Tribulus Terrestris
- …and many more.
House of Muscle appears to stand behind the quality of their products, which are claimed to be truly effective, of the highest quality, and offered at the lowest possible prices. As such, each product is manufactured at a Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) certified facility, and is individually tested for purity and safety. In fact, the company’s website claims that each House of Muscle supplement sold is personally used by the founder Joel Seward.
House of Muscle appears to be very active in supporting bodybuilding, and sponsors professional athletes such as Ethan Pendry, Strongman Sam McMahon, Jeff Petersen, and more. Unlike many other nutritional supplements manufacturers, House of Muscle features complete nutritional information for all of their supplements, which can be found under the Product Flyers section.
In addition to bodybuilding supplements, House of Muscle also features exercise and nutrition tips, workouts, and a regular newsletter, all of which are free of charge.
House of Muscle Pricing & Refund Policy
House of Muscle supplements appear to range in price between $13 and $60 for individual supplements and powders, and $100 and $510 for stacks.
House of Muscle charges USPS shipping rates based on package weight and shipping location. The company claims to provide exchanges on unopened and unused supplements, less shipping and handling charges. However, no time limit for exchanges is provided on their website, so you may want to contact them directly at 401-783-4273 prior to placing your order.
What Do Other Consumers Have to Say About House of Muscle?
House of Muscle is operated by HouseOfMuscle.com, LLC based out of Wakefield, RI, and is not listed with the Better Business Bureau.
The company appears to have a primarily positive online customer reputation, although the most common complaints we encountered during our research cited high supplement prices, inflated shipping charges, and very long shipping times (often greater than three weeks).
Despite this, it appears that the vast majority of House of Muscle customers would purchase from the company again.
What’s the Bottom Line About House of Muscle?
With all this information in mind, is House of Muscle a good place to purchase bodybuilding supplements?
Based on the company’s primarily positive online reputation and the fact that the majority of their customers would purchase from them again, they appear to represent a solid option for bodybuilding supplements.
However, we encountered numerous reviews claiming that supplements of equal quality can often be found elsewhere online for less money. In addition, House of Muscle ships all their supplements through USPS, which appears to result in long shipping times (at times more than three weeks), without the ability to track your shipment. Unfortunately, there’s no way around this, as the company doesn’t provide any alternate shipping options.
Finally, we read numerous complaints that the company inflates their shipping charges somewhat dramatically. In fact, one reviewer claimed to have checked shipping rates directly through USPS after placing their House of Muscle order, and found that based on weight and location, they should have only paid $3 for shipping, while House of Muscle charged $13.
My experience with the House of Muscle staff has been great. I have received my products in a timely manner and haven't had any problems with my returns. The staff has been very courteous with me. Great customer service.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Good so far
Purchased House of Muscle supplements for first time. Yes shipping seemed pricey but it was delivered in 3 days so I have no complaints about long shipping time. The protein powder has a great taste and mixed well in just a shaker cup. Too early to tell if the performance end of their products is any good.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friendView all 1 commentsHide comments
