About Icelandic Formula Omega 3

If you’ve spent much time on Facebook recently, you may have seen an advertisement for Icelandic Formula Omega 3. This high-potency, quadruple strength nutritional supplement claims to provide “extreme” health benefits, such as heart and joint health, brain support, and more, while helping you to avoid many of the pitfalls associated with other Omega 3 products.

But when it comes down to it, is Icelandic Formula Omega 3 worth your hard-earned money? Let’s cast a wide net on the facts and see what comes up.

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 Details

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 gets its name from the fact that the fish used in the  supplement’s production are harvested from the cold, clean waters surrounding Iceland. Because of this, Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is claimed to give you all the benefits of eating fish on a regular basis, but also helps you avoid many of the downfalls associated with it, such as exposure to mercury and other contaminants. In fact, the company claims that Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is lab tested to be 100% free of mercury.

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is claimed to be the only Omega 3 fish oil that provides the highest potency, highest absorption levels of EPA and DHA. In fact, the company claims that its molecularly distilled and pharmaceutical grade Icelandic fish oil equals the same potency found in 8-10 gelcaps of other regular strength Omega 3 supplements.

With this in mind, Icelandic Formula Omega 3 claims to provide the following benefits:

  • Heart health – Reduced blood pressure, improved healthy cholesterol levels, normalized heart rhythm, improved circulatory function, and more.
  • Joint health –Improved joint function, provides relief from arthritis and other forms of chronic inflammation, and more.
  • Brain support – Improved concentration and memory, reduced symptoms of depression, reduced ADHD in children, and more.
  • Weight loss – Reduced insulin levels, increased fat burning, and more.
  • Anti-aging – Increased energy, improved look of your skin, promotes strong hair, nails, and eyes, and more.
  • Other benefits – Reduced likelihood of certain types of cancers, strengthened immune system, improved digestive function, prevents the development of asthma, and more.

Each serving size of Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is 1-3 gelcaps, which contain 3,000mg of Omega 3 and 1,500mg of DHA and EPA.

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 Pricing & Refund Policy

  1. 1 Bottle: $39.95, plus $9.95 S&H.
  2. Buy 2, Get 1 Free: $99.90, plus $9.95 S&H.

With options 2 and 3, you’ll also receive free joint cream, and with option 4 you’ll also receive two free gifts (joint relief cream and defense immunity booster).

While it doesn’t appear that you’ll be enrolled in any kind of autoship program after purchasing Icelandic Formula Omega 3, their Terms & Conditions does reference a “Preferred Customer Club.” However, we were unable to locate any additional information about this on their website.

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 comes with a 100% money back guarantee, which states that you can returned any opened bottles for a full refund (less shipping and handling charges) within 30 days, while unopened bottles can be returned at any time, no questions asked. In order to initiate the process, you’ll need to contact customer service at (877) 845-3925 and request an RMA.

What Do Other Consumers Have to Say About Icelandic Formula Omega 3?

Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is distributed by Viking Icelandic Fourmula based out of New York, NY, which is not listed with the Better Business Bureau.

Despite the fact that Icelandic Formula Omega 3’s URL was originally registered in December 2012, we were unable to find any online customer reviews during our research. However, common complaints associated with other Omega 3 supplements include upset stomach, indigestion, and failure to experience results.

What’s the Bottom Line About Icelandic Formula Omega 3?

With an awful lot of claimed benefits, does Icelandic Formula Omega 3 live up to the hype? The short answer is that we just don’t know, and here’s why:

First, although the product’s URL has been registered since 2012, we were unable to find any online customer reviews during our research. This could be due to a variety of factors, including that the company may have only recently started promoting it. However, we can’t be sure.

With this said, Omega 3 supplements have become increasingly popular since appearing on the Dr. Oz TV show in 2010, where he recommended taking 600-1,000mg of DHA/EPA per day. As such, Icelandic Formula Omega 3 claims to provide 1,500mg of DHA and EPA per day, so it appears to provide the recommended dose, unlike some other Omega 3 supplements we’ve reviewed such as Omega XL, omax3, Viva Labs Krill Oil, and Whole Body Antarctic Krill Oil.

Despite this, the Icelandic Formula Omega 3 website does not provide a product label or ingredients list, which is disconcerting considering the fact that this is something you’ll be putting in your body, and you deserve to know exactly what’s in it.

Another bonus with Icelandic Formula Omega 3 is that the company provides lifetime returns on unopened bottles, which says a lot about the faith they put in their supplements. However, they do charge fairly high shipping and handling charges.

Bottom line: Although Icelandic Formula Omega 3 appears to provide the necessary levels of EPA and DHA you need to experience its benefits, the lack of online customer reviews is a bit puzzling. However, with a 30-day return policy on opened bottles, and a lifetime return policy on unopened bottles, you’ll only be out shipping and handling if you decide to give the supplement a try.

    Do not buy it!

They do not deliver any product, they just take your money and you will never receive their products. Try to call their customer service and the phone number does not exist.

    Problems With Shipping

Do not buy this product directly from Icelandic. And do not pay for rush delivery if you do. The buy 2 get 1 free + a free joint cream is a lie. I never got the joint cream and they have ignored my email informing them of this. Amazon has the same offer minus the joint cream and they offer free delivery. On Amazon it's cheaper and you get it faster. Check it yourself.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Information about Icelandic Fourmula

I don't know when Highya did their research on Icelandic Formula Omega 3, because I recently in May of 2015 researched this product. On the products website page, you will find customer reviews, ingredients listed in this product, and all the benefits of taking this product and how it is able to do this in the body.

I do not think the Shipping and Handling charge of $9.95 is too expensive considering I had 6 bottles of product being delivered to me. It was also shipped by UPS and came before a weeks time had passed from the date that I had ordered the product to when I received it.

I had to call Customer Service and found them to be very helpful and courteous; not at all rude. The company does offer special online offers and you can sign up to receive coupon codes to enable you to get a discount on your next order. The company also offers a program where you can automatically get more product delivered however often you would like it and on whatever date you pick out for it to arrive to you each month.

I can't say enough about the product itself. I have arthritis very badly and have found my joints not to hurt as much. I could once again enjoy walking my dog. I don't feel I have to "pay the consequences" of choosing to go a little further on a walk when the weather is beautiful now that I have been taking Icelandic Omega 3 for over a month now. I am sold on this product by the way my body has positively responded to it. Joints don't feel sore and achy all the time now and my level of exercise has increased due to taking this product daily. My hair and nails are stronger and grow more rapidly and healthier looking.

I will be taking this product for the rest of my life.

    Unethical company

    • Philadelphia, PA,

Stealth weekly / monthly recurring enrollment. Online ordering process CANNOT be canceled once started. Customer service will not talk to you until the order is shipped. Dealing with company is a nightmare. Selling Krill Oil is not their business, selling recurring shipments is.

Icelandic Omega 3 is a great product. I've used for many years. The down side is that the shipping and handling charges are expensive.

    Icelandic formula

I've been taking this supplement for 3 months and I really like it. I can feel a difference in my joints as I'm a runner. They have very good deals, like buy 3 get 3 free. It is far superior to all the other brands in my opinion. No fishy smell or digestive issues, which can happen with fish oil. I would recommend this product.

    Good product

    • Toronto, Ontario,
    • Dec 6, 2014

My father has been taking the Icelandic Formula Omega 3 for approximately 2 years. This product at first was much cheaper, it has become relatively expensive recently. Still, using their buy 5 get 7 free you can get yourself omega for the entire year.

My father loves the product, and never had any side effects. Ever since taking it, he stopped getting cold even winter time. He has high blood pressure, and after two weeks of coming on the supplement, he stopped feeling dizzy, which was common prior.

I tried it myself, and I like it a lot. Product is always fresh with expiry date usually in 2 years. Considering the strength and purity and price, I still think they are one of the best, if not The best.
