About Inlyte Electronic Cigarette
Electronic cigarettes are all the rage nowadays, and a new version from Inlyte claims to be the #1 electronic cigarette that looks, tastes, and smokes like the real thing, but without the flame, ash, or any of the harmful chemicals. Because of this, Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes claim to allow you to smoke anywhere, while also reducing your health risks and saving you thousands of dollars.
While new e-cigarette brands such as VChic and FIN seem to be popping up everywhere you look, it’s important to remember that not all e-cigs are created equal. As such, there are some important considerations you should keep in mind, such as where their cartridges are manufactured, the ingredients they contain, and if this occurs in an FDA and/or GMP facility.
As such, do Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes make the grade? Let’s take a closer look.
How Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes Work
When compared to traditional cigarettes, Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes are claimed to contain no tar or toxic chemicals, and the fact that they produce only vapor means that you can enjoy smoking without the associated smelly clothes, bad breath, yellow teeth, or smoker’s cough. On top of this, the product’s website claims that this will allow you to enjoy nicotine in places where you normally can’t smoke, including restaurants, bars, airports, and more (see more about this in the final section).
While there are no details provided on the Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes website about how the product works or the ingredients it contains, most e-cigarettes have two primary parts: the battery and the cartridge, which lock together in one way or another. Then, once you take a puff (just like you would with a normal cigarette), the electricity from the battery heats up the material in the cartridge, which is usually a vegetable-based glycerin containing nicotine. This heat quickly turns the glycerin into a vapor, which mimics the act of smoking.

Should You Buy Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes?
Whether you’re looking to get rid of the smell, realize an improvement in your health, or to eventually quit smoking altogether, do Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes represent a good value for the money? Maybe, although here are some important considerations:
Not a Smoking Cessation Device
First, while e-cigs such as Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes can help you move away from traditional cigarettes and some of the related health concerns, for the most part, they have not been shown to improve you chances of quitting when compared to other methods, including patches and gum.
Because of this, keep in mind that you might just be trading one form of smoking for another.
It’s important to note that the Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes website doesn’t provide any information about where they’re manufactured, or the ingredients contained in their cartomizers. While nearly all e-cigs claim to be safer than tobacco, the reality is that this fledgling industry is largely unregulated, so there can be a vast difference between brands, based on quality and the ingredients they contain.
To outline this importance, you can read this 2013 clinical study that analyzed the ingredients contained in “e-juice,” and after spinning them in a centrifuge found high levels of “metal and silicate particles” consisting of “tin, silver, iron, nickel, aluminum, and silicate and nanoparticles of tin, chromium and nickel.”
When compared to the competition, it appears that Inlyte replacement cartridges are very expensive at $108.95. Although the product’s website doesn’t tell you how many cartridges you’ll receive for this price, based on the items included I the Starter Kit, it’s safe to assume you’ll get 15 per month, which works out to about $7.26 per cartridge.
When compared to other e-cigarette manufacturers, this is more than double the price per cartridge. As such, if you’re looking to save money over traditional cigarettes, Inlyte may not be your best option.
On top of this, Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes are only available through mail order, which means that if you run out before your next shipment arrives, you’ll likely be out of luck. On the other hand, most other brands are available at convenience stores and drug stores near you.
Although the Inlyte website claims that their electronic cigarettes will allow you to smoke anywhere, the reality is that most businesses view e-cigs just like they do traditional ones. In other words, for the most part, if you can’t smoke somewhere with a regular cigarette, it’s likely that you won’t be able to with an e-cigarette either.
Finally, in the world of electronic cigarettes, the battery/cartridge combination used by brands such as Inlyte often act as a “stepping stone” between traditional cigarettes and full on vaporizers. Because of this, you might quickly find yourself looking at professional vaporizers after using Inlyte for only a short period of time, which will allow you to adjust nicotine levels and vapor density based on your specific preferences.
In fact, many of these professional vaporizers are about half the price of Inlyte Electronic Cigarettes, and the nicotine fluid they use can be purchased for about $20, which will generally last about 2 weeks depending on your smoking frequency.
Bottom line: Between Inlyte Electronic Cigarette’s very high cartridge prices, the fact that it is a new product without any online customer reviews, and the lack of information regarding where it’s manufacturer/ingredients it contains, you may want to research all your e-cigarette options before placing your order.
