About Juice Wizard

The Juice Wizard is an “As Seen on TV” juicer that is claimed to instantly separate the peel and fiber from fruits and vegetables for pure, fresh juice. As such, you can enjoy healthier drinks and treats that the whole family can enjoy.

The Juice Wizard is manufactured by National Express Online based out of Norwalk, CT, who has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, despite holding more than 100 complaints over the past three years. The Juice Wizard appears to be a relatively new product, which is bolstered by the fact that the product’s URL was just registered in November 2013. As such, legitimate online customer reviews are essentially non-existent.

How the Juice Wizard Works

According to the product’s website, the Juice Wizard is different from other juicers because of its unique auger system that instantly separates the fiber from raw fruits and vegetables, resulting in pure juice. As a result, you can create a wide variety of wholesome treats, including drinks, sorbet, ice pops, applesauce, and more.

The company claims that the Juice Wizard can be used in five easy steps:

  1. Secure it into place using the non-slip suction base and built-in locking mechanism.
  2. Select the fruits and/or vegetables you would like to process, and insert them into the chute.
  3. Crank the stainless steel handle.
  4. Separate the fiber and pulp from the raw fruits and vegetables using the auger system that “crushes, squeezes, and separates,” all at once.
  5. Pour the juice out of the pitcher using the included pouring pitcher, and enjoy!

After completion, you can also use the attached strainer to remove the pulp, which can then be used in a variety of recipes for added flavor.

The Juice Wizard is claimed to be dishwasher safe, and its small, “significantly less bulky” size makes it easy to store in most cabinets.

The optional Mincing attachment allows you to mince foods using a coarse or fine blade—even meat. However, regardless if you have the Mincing attachment or not, the Juice Wizard does not work well with “firm varieties such as carrots, ginger, etc.”

Juice Wizard Pricing & Refund Policy

The Juice Wizard is currently priced at $19.95, plus $6.95 shipping and handling. When placing your order you can also add the Mincing attachment and 2 blades for a total of $32.90, plus $9.90 shipping and handling.

The Juice Wizard comes with a 60-day money back guarantee, less shipping and handling charges. No additional information about this guarantee was found on the product’s website, so you may want to contact the company at customerservice@nationalexpresstv.com for additional details.

Bottom Line: Is the Juice Wizard a Scam?

While we have no reason to believe the Juice Wizard is a scam, be sure to consider the following before placing your order:

First, the Juice Wizard is an “As Seen on TV” product, which tend to have lower satisfaction ratings than similar products on the market. This is because they tend to not perform as well as advertised, and are often constructed of low-quality materials.

Second, the Juice Wizard is a relatively new product, and legitimate online reviews are few and far between. As a result, we were unable to get a good feel for customer satisfaction levels.

Finally, the Juice Wizard is priced well below most of the competition. If nothing else, this means you may want to keep the tried-and-true saying in mind: “You get what you pay for.”
