Whether you’re looking to build your arms, legs, chest, shoulders, back, calves, or anything else, Max Fit Lab claims to provide better gains than any other program, while remaining easy to use and providing new workouts every month that can help maintain your motivation. On top of this, you’ll still be able to enjoy your favorite foods throughout the process.

Regardless of your age or gender, is Max Fit Lab really the “only nutrition and workout program you’ll ever need,” or is it a giant waste of money?

To answer this, let’s first find out what the Max Fit Lab program contains.

What’s Included In Your Max Fit Lab Membership?

After signing up for Max Fit Lab, you’ll begin receiving a new workout plan at the beginning of each month, which is tailored toward those who train 3, 4, or 5 times per week. These workouts will take you about an hour to complete, and you’ll need access to barbells, dumbbells, and cables.

Every exercise also comes with a how-to video, so you’ll know exactly what you’re doing in order to prevent injury.

Note: If you have this equipment at home, you’ll be able to complete Max Fit Lab’s workouts there. Otherwise, you’ll require a gym membership (more about this in the Pricing section).

Finally, the Max Fit Lab program is also claimed to feature a nutrition calendar that tells you how many calories, proteins, carbs, and fats to eat daily, in addition to a recommended list of foods to eat and supplements to take (again, more about this in the Pricing section).

Given what we know up to this point, how well can you really expect Max Fit Lab to work?

Is Max Fit Lab an Effective Workout Program?

Outside of what we discussed in the previous section, we’re not informed about any of Max Fit Lab’s important details, so it’s impossible to be certain how well it works.

Certainly, if you’re 50 pounds overweight and haven’t worked out in years (for example), the physical activity alone could help you increase muscle mass and shed pounds. But for anyone outside this demographic, there are a lot of unanswered questions, such as:

  • Will Max Fit Lab work best for those looking to bulk up, or those looking to “cut?”
  • Is there a recommended level of fitness for Max Fit Lab participants? Is there anyone that shouldn’t use it?
  • Can the workouts be tailored to your fitness level?
  • Can the nutrition program be tailored to your fitness needs? What about dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian/vegan, gluten free, etc.)?

These are some of the core questions we came away with after reading through the Max Fit Lab website, although there were certainly many more. And without any answers, there’s no way to know how Max Fit Lab can “provide better gains” than the competition, or whether it will even be effective at all.

Considering this, are there any ways you can increase muscle mass and lose weight on your own?

Is DIY Bulking Up or Losing Weight a Good Idea?

As in many other aspects of life, the 80/20 rule applies to achieving your fitness goals. Whether you’re looking to bulk up or shrink down, this means that 80% or your physical enhancement will come from diet, while only 20% will come from exercise.

In other words, your ability to stick to a healthy diet (based on your individual goals) will account for a full 80% of your success. Without it, you could exercise all you want and still never achieve what you need.

However, compared to the outdated calories in/calories out model, modern medicine is beginning to understand that it’s not necessarily the number of calories you consume per day, but the quality of these calories. As such, it’s important that you speak with a physician or dietician who can create a nutrition program specific to your current physical state, your fitness goals, your nutrition needs, and much more.

Otherwise you could end up frustrated, with less money in your bank account and nothing to show for it.

Despite many of the concerns we’ve covered up to this point, is there anything about Max Fit Lab’s creator that might provide some more credibility?

Who is Jason Maxwell?

Jason Maxwell is a former Aerospace Engineer turned fitness and nutrition expert who has a master’s level nutrition certification, and is also certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Functional Movement Systems.

On top of this, Jason is the owner of JMax Fitness, a fitness coaching and products company, as well as the company behind the Monster Legs 90 program. Unfortunately, JMax Fitness wasn’t listed with the Better Business Bureau at the time of our research, and no additional information was available online.

Max Fit Lab Pricing & Refund Policy

When signing up for the Max Fit Lab program, you can choose between a $20 monthly membership, or a $200 yearly membership.

As soon as your payment is processed, you’ll automatically be redirected to the Max Fit Lab membership page to create your account. Then, once your account is activated, you’ll be sent to the login page.  After you’ve logged in, you’ll gain immediate access, which means you can view the program’s content from any device with an internet connection.

Along with your Max Fit Lab membership, you’ll also receive “discount codes to your favorite supplement and clothing sites,” although no additional information about this was provided.

Like all products sold through Clickbank, Max Fit Lab comes with a 60-day refund policy, which you can request by sending an email to support@jmaxfitness.com.

Is Membership Your Only Cost with Max Fit Lab?

Before moving on, it’s important to reiterate that if you don’t have access to barbells, dumbbells, and cables at home, you’ll need to add the cost of a gym membership to your Max Fit Lab enrollment. This can run you anywhere from $10 to $80+ per month.

Is Max Fit Lab the Right Fitness Program for You?

Without knowing exactly what types of workouts you’ll be doing with Max Fit Lab, or the kind of nutrition advice that comes with it, it’s all but impossible to say.

Because of these concerns, it’s our opinion that your money might be better spent on a nutritionist instead of signing up for a Max Fit Lab membership.
