About Max Lash

Max Lash claims to be a specially formulated 2-piece system of brush-on eyelash extensions that provide you with larger, fuller, and sexier lashes, as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Brush on the application gel.
  2. Apply the 3D fiber extensions, which instantly bond to your natural lashes and maximize their volume and length. According to the company, you can layer the fibers for increasingly pronounced results.
  3. Seal for longer, fuller lashes.

You want to look better for less money, but can the fiber-based lash extensions from Max Lash help you accomplish this? Let’s see…

Important Unanswered Questions About Max Lash

When it comes to Max Lash, there are a lot of key unanswered questions. For example, the product’s website doesn’t let us know what the 3D fibers are made of, what ingredients the application gel and sealer contain, or how much volume and/or extension you can realistically expect to achieve.

With this said, Max Lash appears to be a very similar concept to Caboki, only it’s meant for use on eyelashes instead of hair. Some of the most common complaints related to these types of fiber-based products is that their coverage is spotty (something we’ll talk about in the following section), that the fibers tend to fall out onto your clothes during the day, and that they cannot be exposed to moisture, including sweat—or even high humidity.

Does Max Lash Provide Good Results?

One of the most common complaints women have about their eyelashes is clumping, which is one of the main selling points makeup companies use to market their mascara.

Max Lash Before and After

However, as you can see from the image (taken directly from the Max Lash website), the results appear to be fairly clumpy. Assuming that the manufacturer wanted to put Max Lash’s best face forward, are we to gather that these pictures represent the best results you can hope for?

Max Lash Adds, but Doesn’t Create

Although it might be obvious at this point, keep in mind that Max Lash’s fibers will only enhance your existing lashes by making them appear fuller and longer. However, Max Lash will not cause them to permanently remain this way, like a product such as City Lash might.

What’s the “Buzz” Surrounding Max Lash?

Although Max Lash is a very new product without any online reviews available at the time of our research, we did find out that the product is manufactured by Ontel Corporation, a fairly big player in the ASOTV industry, and who also makes Speedout.

Between HighYa reader reviews and complaints filed through Ontel’s Better Business Bureau page, it appears some of the most common complaints related to their products reference failure to work as advertised, unwarranted credit card charges and products on top of what was originally ordered, and very long delivery times (especially related to replacement parts).

Max Lash Pricing & Refund Policy

You can purchase one Max Lash set for $10 plus $6.99 S&H, and you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase a second set for an additional $6.99. Note: If you don’t want a second set, be sure to uncheck the box in Step 1 of the ordering process.

For this price, you’ll receive the following:

  • 2 tubes of application gel
  • 2 tubes of 3D Fiber Extension
  • 2 custom carrying cases with built-in magnification mirror.

Max Lash comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H charges. If you choose the BOGO option and are dissatisfied with the product, this means you’ll immediately lose $13.98 in S&H charges, plus whatever it’ll cost you to send them back to the manufacturer. In the end, this means you could lose almost twice as much in S&H charges than you’ll receive as a refund.

In order to initiate the refund process, you’ll need to contact customer service at 844-280-1375.

Can Max Lash Help Your Eyelashes Look Better for Less?

Chopping to the Point: Because the pictures on the Max Lash website are the only ones we can use to gauge what to expect from using it, we definitely have our doubts. On top of this, we’re not sure what ingredients the product uses, and whether or not these are safe.

Due to these concerns and because fiber-based lash extensions are offered from a variety of manufacturers, we might recommend searching for them at a local retailer. This way, if you end up not liking the product, you can return it hassle-free and without losing a good chunk of change on S&H charges.

Fibers fall on your face meaning foundation has to be reapplied. I normally use Max Factor Clump Defy and did a test on one eye. It gave much longer lashes without the mess. The Max Lash does not stay and is totally unsuitable for contact lens wearers. I feel robbed.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Ha

I ordered Max Lash back in October of 2015 and still have not received it but did get an email in December saying it was on back order. You want a honest review? They will get one when I either get my money back or the lashes I have been waiting for.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Good

Bought this product at "as seen on TV store." I've always wanted to try 3d mascara. I applied it once - it seemed like a regular mascara look. Once I watched the Youtube video, found out I can apply it more to achieve a fuller/longer look. I applied again and it came out better, longer/fuller. But because I did the second coat 15 minutes after my first there was a little clumping. Just used my eyelash comb and my eyelash curler and my eyelashes look awesome.

I just used Max Lash for the first time this morning and I love this product. It does exactly what it says it will, lengthens your lashes and thickens them too. Buy this because you won't be disappointed.

    No Instructions

    • Los Angeles, CA,
    • Jul 4, 2015

When you receive the product it says, “please be sure to read and understand the instructions before using the product”. However, there are no instructions with the product.

I then had to figure out where to call to get more information. When I was finally routed to the right person, they did not even know the right website to send me to in order to get the needed instructions.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
