About Mighty Shower
Although you won’t need any tools or hardware with Mighty Shower, the manufacturer tells us it can convert your standard shower into a powerful rainfall shower in seconds. How?
According to the company, all you have to do is unscrew your old head and screw on your Mighty Shower. Then, after turning your water on, its Flow and Grow technology will create pressure inside that’s released through its 90 jumbo jet sprayers for a “full flow.”
And because these jets are also soft and pliable, we’re told that any deposits in your water will “pass through without clogging.”
Regardless of your shape, size, or height, Mighty Shower’s arm extension pivots high, low, and side-to-side to accommodate your needs.
Will Mighty Shower really deliver a “cleansing rainforest downpour” though? Even if it does, are there other options available? Which one will deliver the most value?
Let’s start answering these important questions by understanding a few shower head basics.
How Do Shower Heads Like Mighty Shower Work?
We’re not provided with any of Mighty Shower’s under-the-hood details, but in general, shower heads work by diffusing a stream of water coming out of a pipe, so that it’s even and comfortable.
High-pressure models can boost the force of the water exiting the head, even if your plumbing’s pressure is less-than-stellar (remember this concept, since we’ll revisit it later). The downside is that these often increase water usage.
On the other hand, many modern low pressure (or low flow) shower heads can deliver the same level of pressure, while using meaningfully less water. This is accomplished either through aeration (mixing air with the water to boost pressure) or micro-pulses that save water and increase pressure.
A third sun-genre is the rainfall shower head, which is where Mighty Shower enters the picture. Instead, of building pressure, these large shower heads disperse the water evenly over a large area and allow gravity to do the rest, making you feel like you’re standing in the rain.
On the downside, because of the amount of water that flows through them, rainfall heads might not be your first choice from a water conservation standpoint.
Are There Other Rainfall Heads Like Mighty Shower? What About Reviews?
If you type “rainfall shower head” into any search engine, you’ll find there are thousands of different options from which to choose. These include luxury models from national manufacturers, all the way down to Mighty Shower’s ASOTV competition.
From a price perspective, you’ll find these models go as low as $20 and up to $130 and beyond. In fact, you’ll encounter several models that utilize the same multi-angle arm design as Mighty Shower.

While some of these third-party models have been around for years and garnered hundred of individual reviews, Mighty Shower was too new at the time of our research to have accumulated any feedback.
There also wasn’t any company information listed on Mighty Shower’s website, and searching for their customer service number (more next) didn’t turn up any relevant results.
Now, how much will you pay for Mighty Shower’s model?
How Much Does Mighty Shower Cost?
Two Mighty Shower heads are priced at $19.95 plus $15.98 S&H.
All Mighty Shower purchases come with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H. This means that if you’re dissatisfied, you’ll likely lose $20+ in nonrefundable fees after shipping your heads back to the manufacturer.

As we wrap up our review, let’s discuss a few important remaining points.
Is Mighty Shower a Contender?
Price vs. Value
The HighYa team has reviewed more than 750 As Seen on TV products to date, and we’ve gathered 10,000+ individual ASOTV reviews from readers like you.
And if we’ve learned anything, it’s that, if you’re focused squarely on price, it’s often difficult to beat an ASOTV offering. Plain and simple.
However, we’ve also learned that two of the most common customer complaints related to these products are 1) that they often don’t live up to performance expectations and 2) that they might not last a long time.
Given this, while nearly all of Mighty Shower’s competition comes with a higher price tag, if overall value is your main focus, third-party options might have more of a reputation for longer performance.
With this said, keep in mind that installing any shower head might not be quite as effortless as the Mighty Shower commercial makes it seem. This could especially be the case if your current shower head has been in place for a while, or if you live in an area with especially hard water.
While not impossible by any means, you might need to grab a wrench and apply some elbow grease in the process.
Can You Avoid Deposits?
Speaking of which, as anyone with hard water will tell you, deposits can definitely cling to the soft jets on shower heads like Mighty Shower. Sure, they might be easier to clear, but the potential is always there for deposits to re-accumulate.
Finally, while Mighty Shower claims its Flow and Grow technology will increase pressure, many of us might not classify the commercial’s demonstrations as “high-pressure.” So, if your plumbing already suffers from low pressure, you might not expect Mighty Shower to meaningfully improve the situation.
What does all of this mean for you? Outside of price, it’s not made clear how Mighty Shower is meaningfully different (or better) than its vast competition, many of which are available locally.
And considering that you could lose more than 50 percent of your refund if you give it a try and end up dissatisfied, you’ll certainly want to think carefully before placing your Mighty Shower order.
