NuBiotix manufactures a line of four nutritional supplements we’re told are formulated to purify your body, relax your mind and body, and improve your cognitive reactions and interactions.
In fact, NuBiotix claims their supplements may be able to help you experience long-lasting health and a “better quality of life.”
To accomplish this, NuBiotix tells us that their nutrient-rich supplements are made with only pure, all-natural ingredients, without cheap fillers or other harmful substances.
Those sound like some great benefits, right? After all, who wouldn’t want to boost their health and improve their quality of life?
Once you clear away the marketing hype though, can you realistically expect better digestion—or any of the other benefits promoted by the manufacturer—from NuBiotix’s supplements?
Stick with us and that’s exactly what we’ll help you decide here.
How Do NuBiotix’s Supplements Work?
Overall, there are four supplements in NuBiotix’s lineup:
Probiotic Digestive Formula
NuBiotix tells us their Probiotic Digestive Formula can help provide all-natural, gentle, effective, and ongoing digestive support that can help you feel lighter, reduce bloating, improve your energy, and stay healthy.
On top of this, the company claims the Formula’s blend of patented probiotic strains, digestive enzymes, and natural herbal ingredients can help you detoxify, encourage weight loss, boost immune system function, flatten your tummy, and more.
Important note: No ingredients were listed directly on the NuBiotix website at the time of our research, although their Amazon listings (more soon) for each supplement included labels. As such, all ingredient information was obtained from Amazon.
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) 7.8mg
- Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 7mg
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 8.3mg
- Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalimin) 7.5mcg
- Regularis 405mg: Probiotic blend of Lactobacillus Acidophilus La-14 (SD5212) and Bifidobacterium (Bb-06) (2.5 million CFUs); Enzyme blend containing Amylase, Cellulase, Lipase, and Protease (75mg); and blend of natural herbal ingredients, Ginger root, Parsley Leaf, and Peppermint Leaf (330mg)
The first four ingredients in Probiotic Digestive Formula are essential vitamins that, while important, probably won’t provide many digestion-related benefits for otherwise healthy individuals.
What About Regularis?
We’ve written numerous articles and buyer’s guides about probiotics over the years, including how these beneficial gut bacteria have been clinically shown to help most individuals improve digestion, boost immune system response, and more.
Specifically, Lactobacillus Acidophilus (the most common probiotic strain) seems to be especially good at reducing diarrhea and IBS-related symptoms, treating urinary tract infections, and providing inherent antifungal properties.
As a “family” of bacteria, Bifidobacterium may help reduce constipation, modulate brain activity, reduce total cholesterol, treat gastrointestinal disease, and more.

Inside the body, certain enzymes are tasked with breaking down certain components of food. For example, amylase digests carbohydrates, cellulase cellulose and beta-glucose, lipase fats, and protease proteins and peptides.
Will supplementing your diet with any of these enzymes deliver real-world benefits? We’ll explore this important question in the next section.
Outside of these, for otherwise healthy individuals, WebMD doesn’t indicate that any of Probiotic Digestive Formula’s other ingredients can provide meaningful digestive support.
However, this doesn’t mean they won’t provide any benefits. For example, vitamin B1 may help with cataracts, vitamin B6 for blood pressure and upset stomach, B12 for macular degeneration, ginger for osteoarthritis, and peppermint for IBS, to name just a few.
NuBiotix Enzyme Blend
NuBiotix tells us their Enzyme Blend supplement can also flatten your tummy and “jumpstart your weight loss,” all by taking one capsule per day before lunch, with water.
What’s more, they claim that when paired with a probiotic, their Enzyme Blend can give your body “all the tools it needs to digest food appropriately,” leading to reduced digestive disorders like bloating, gas, and acid reflux.
You’ll notice below that, with the exception of a couple ingredients (primarily probiotics), the Enzyme Blend has a nearly identical formulation to Digestive Formula:
- Ginger Root 100mg
- Veganzyme Plus 50mg
- Parsley Leaf 200mg
- Peppermint Leaf 30mg
- Cellulase 1000 25mg
- Lactobacillus Acidophilus 1.5 billion CFU
- Bifidobacterium Bifidum 1 billion CFU
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) HCl 7.83mg
- Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 7.02mg
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 8.26mg
- Vitamin B12 .0075mg
- Magnesium Stearate 5mg
VeganZyme Plus is a nutritional supplement in its own right that’s sold through a variety of retailers and claims to provide “full-spectrum systemic and digestive enzymes,” although we didn’t encounter any clinical evidence that it works as advertised.
Outside of this, enzymes are biological molecules that help accelerate chemical reactions, such as breaking down and digesting food.
However, US News indicates that other than specific conditions like pancreatic insufficiency, lactose intolerance, and high-fiber diets, “the benefits of supplemental digestive enzymes become murkier” and that “most gastroenterologists dismiss over-the-counter digestive enzymes as a placebo, at best.”
By providing your body with the essential vitamins necessary for brain function and improved mood, Prilogen promises to improve cognitive reactions and interactions, leading to boosted energy and focus, along with high-level brain functioning.

- Vitamin B6 15mg
- Folate, Folic Acid, Folacin 400mcg
- Biotin 300mcg
- Pantothenic Acid 12mg
- Calcium 50mg
- Iron 5mg
- Iodine 15mcg
- Magnesium 100mg
- Zinc 10mg
- Selenium 50mcg
- Copper 0.4mg
- Manganese 2mg
- Chromium 100mcg

- Synergistic & Proprietary Formulation 692mg: Dimethylaminoethanol, L-Glutamine, Bacopin, L-Pyroglutamic Acid, Phosphatidylserine, Docosahexaaenoic Acid (DHA) Concentrate, Inositol, N-Acetyl Tyrosine, Bilberry Fruit, Gamma Aminobutyric Acid, Grape Skin Extract, Activin, Vinpocetine, Trace Lyte electrolyte concentrate, Huperzine A, Boron, Vanadium
Of these, WebMD lists bacopin as “possibly effective” for improving memory in healthy adults and in children 6-8 years old. However, much of the available evidence only relates to two specific bacopa extracts named KeenMind and BacoMind.
Phosphatidylserine may also help address some aspects of age-related mental decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Much of the available evidence comes from phosphatidylserine derived from cow’s brain though, not from the cabbage or soy-derived phosphatidylserine found in many supplements.
Tyrosine may help improve some aspects of mental performance and memory, although much of this testing was performed under stressful conditions, such as military training.
Finally, WebMD indicates that huperzine A may be possibly effective for improving some aspects of dementia and memory.
Important note: Keep in mind that each of these ingredients is part of a proprietary blend, so there’s no way to know if Prilogen contains enough to deliver any real-world benefits. Even if it does though, the benefits will likely be mild and progressive.
Outside of these, WebMD states there’s insufficient clinical evidence that any of Prilogen’s other ingredients will provide any kind of meaningful brain benefits for non-deficient, otherwise healthy individuals.
Called a “maximum sleep aid” by NuBiotix, Prilogen PM promises to help naturally relax your mind and body, leading to calmness and better preparation for sleep.
Specifically, NuBiotix claims Prilogen PM will help you fall asleep more quickly, reduce insomnia and anxiety, and deliver deep, long-lasting sleep, without feeling sluggish in the morning.
Despite sharing a similar name though, Prilogen PM seems to include very few of the same ingredients as the original formulation:
Sleep Formula Proprietary Blend 1,238mg: L-Tryptophan, Valerian Root, Goji, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Passion Fruit, L-Taurine, Magnesium Citrate, Hops, St John’s Wort, GABA, Skullcap, L-Theanine, Calcium Citrate, Ashwagandha, Inositol, 5-HTP, Melatonin, Vitamin B6
Lemon balm is listed by WebMD as possibly effective for insomnia and improving sleep quality.
Similarly, valerian may also help with insomnia, although existing clinical evidence seems to indicate that it doesn’t work as well as traditional sleeping pills and it may take up to 4 weeks of regular use to experience this benefit.
Again, according to WebMD, 0.3mg to 0.5mg of melatonin seems to shorten the amount of time it takes to fall asleep by about 12 minutes. Whether or not it helps individuals sleep longer or improves the quality of sleep, though, remains to be seen.
Finally, chamomile and passionflower may help address anxiety, which could potentially help individuals enter a more conducive state for sleep.
As with the original formula, many of Prilogen PM’s ingredients are part of a proprietary blend, so we can’t know if it contains enough to deliver any of these benefits.
Will You Experience Any Side Effects From NuBiotix’s Supplements?
For the most part, authority websites like WebMD indicate you probably won’t experience any side effects from NuBiotix’s supplements. And if you do, it likely won’t be any worse than mild digestive upset.
However, some individuals may experience flushing from niacin, yellow-orange urine from riboflavin, confusion and other side effects from deanol, as well as difficulty sleeping from St. Johns Wort.
Finally, WebMD notes that:
“L-tryptophan is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth. It has been linked to over 1500 reports of eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (EMS) and 37 deaths.”
Now, how much will you pay for the ingredients contained in NuBiotix’s supplements?
How Much Do NuBiotix Supplements Cost? Where Can You Buy?

- 1 Bottle: $38.98 plus $3.99 S&H
- 3 Bottles: $104.97 plus free S&H
- 5 Bottles: $159.95 plus free S&H

Speaking of Amazon, what can we learn about NuBiotix’s supplements from customer feedback?
Are There Any Helpful Reviews for NuBiotix?
75 Probiotic Digestive Formula customers reviewed their experiences on Amazon, giving the supplement an average rating of 3.1 stars. Their Digestive Enzyme Blend had 11 reviews and a 3.5-star rating, while neither Prilogen nor Prilogen PM had any feedback.
Overall, most compliments appeared to reference positive results, such as improved digestion and reduced bloating. The most common complaint referenced no results.
Although NuBiotix didn’t appear to have any active free trial offers at the time of writing, Truth In Advertising wrote an in-depth article back in 2015 covering the company’s previous free trial and some of their marketing claims.
From a company perspective, Nubiotix Health Sciences, LLC is based out of Sandy, UT. They weren’t listed with the Better Business Bureau and we didn’t find any additional information about them elsewhere online.
Bottom Line: Can You Expect Real-World Results From NuBiotix?
Obviously, everyone’s body is different, so a supplement that works fantastically for one person might be a total flop for someone else. On top of this, we didn’t test NuBiotix’s products ourselves, so we can’t provide any firsthand feedback.
With this said, based on what we learned above from authority websites like WebMD, outside of the probiotics contained in the NuBiotix Digestive Formula, there seems to be insufficient clinical evidence that these supplements’ ingredients will deliver on the manufacturer’s promises.
And even for those ingredients that might provide some real-world benefits, many are contained in proprietary blends, so we can’t be sure these supplements provide enough for you to experience the same.
Our recommendation? Ultimately, you get to decide how to spend your money, but if you’re looking to boost digestion, NuBiotix’s Digestive Formula seems to have helped many other customers.
But if you’re looking for a broader spectrum of bacteria strains without all the additional ingredients, you might want to explore other probiotic supplements.
And if you’re looking for help falling sleep (again, without all the added ingredients) and standalone melatonin or lemon balm supplement might work just as well as NuBiotix’s Prilogen PM formula—and could even come with a much lower price tag.
The good news is that NuBiotix seems to stand behind their supplements with a 30-day refund policy, although as soon as you open the box or bottle, this option goes away.

I tried some of this stuff back in August and when I called to order they were trying to do automatic ordering/payments. I never agreed to this kind of marketing/sales tactics so I said I wanted to cancel.
They eventually agreed to me ordering when I wanted or I'd have never ordered otherwise. On November 27th I saw a charge on my debit card and called them. I said I never ordered and want charges reversed.
They said, “You can't order without agreeing to the auto ordering”. I said I wouldn't have ordered it then. And, only with some major arguing was I able to have them fully agree to refund the full amount.
They tried to refund $1.96 but I demanded a full refund. Don't buy their stuff. They have Bad marketing/sales tactics.
The cost of a bottle of this stuff went from $48.00 to $9.96 when I declined the product several times at a higher price on my initial call which tells me they are making a killing on profits when people just agree to the initial cost.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
