About Nutri Ninja Duo Blender
The Nutri Ninja Duo Blender is claimed to be an ergonomically designed nutrient extractor that features five pre-set Auto-IQ programs, 3 manual settings, and Total Crushing Technology that provide you with all the options you need to blend, puree, create smoothies, and more. And with a 2HP,1,500-watt motor, the Nutri Ninja Duo Blender is claimed to be 2.5X more powerful than regular nutrient extractors, giving you the ability to extract hidden nutrition from whole fruits and vegetables, which can support immune health, increase energy, and reduce stress.
In addition, the Duo Blender is claimed to feature a safety interlock design that ensures stability when blending, BPA-free pitchers, and dishwasher safe construction.
Do you have a New Year’s resolution to eat better, exercise more, and live a generally healthier life? If so, can the Nutri Ninja Duo Blender act as an important tool in getting you there? Consider the following:
What are the Ninja Duo Blender’s Auto-IQ Programs? Is There Anything Unique About Them?
According to the Duo Blender website, their 5 pre-set Auto-IQ programs provide “one-touch intelligence for your blending and nutrient and vitamin extraction needs.” The manufacturer claims this is accomplished by combining unique, timed pulsing, blending and pausing patterns that take the guesswork out of blending and provide consistent results every time, whether you’re blending, pureeing, making smoothies, or anything else. In other words, all you have to do is add your ingredients, press your desired Auto-IQ program button and you’re ready to start the day.
Also, when combined with the Nutri Ninja Pro’s Extractor Blades that rotate at high speeds to liquefy ingredients (called Total Crushing Technology), the manufacturer claims you’ll be able to extract hidden nutrition from whole fruits and vegetables and make nutrient-rich super juices, salad dressings, sauces, dips, and even frozen desserts, which can support immune health, increase energy, reduce stress, and more.
But here’s the question: While these features are cool and certainly seem useful, is there anything necessarily unique about them? As is often the case, the answer to this is “it depends.” Why? Because there are a variety of blenders from other manufacturers that also include one-touch presets and the ability to liquefy most fruits and vegetables, such as the Breville Boss Blender and the Blendtec Designer 725. However, the catch is that many of these options are double the price (or more) of the Nutri Ninja Duo Blender.
As such, from a “price-to-preset” ratio, it seems like the Duo Blender might provide a hefty amount of value, assuming it works as well as it claims (we’ll talk more about this in a moment).
It’s All About the Ingredients
Despite the Ninja Duo Blender’s lower price than some of the competition, if you’re looking to make hot soups, whether by adding hot ingredients to the pitcher or heating directly inside the blender, this isn’t something you’ll be able to accomplish. Instead, you’ll first need to cook the ingredients and allow them to cool, and then add them to the Duo Blender for processing.
Also, keep in mind that even though the Ninja Duo Blender can extract more essential vitamins and nutrients from fruits and vegetables, it’s only as healthy as the ingredients you include. In other words, if you think you can use it to make milkshakes all day and that you’ll lose weight in the process, you’ll likely end up disappointed. And even if you do use healthy ingredients in your Nutri Ninja Duo Blender, you’ll need to adhere to a sensible diet and regular exercise in order to maximize your results.
Does the Ninja Duo Blender Have a Good Consumers Reputation?
Taking a look at reviews found on Amazon.com, BedBathandBeyond.com, and many other websites, the Nutri Ninja Dup Blender appears to have an almost wholly positive customer reputation, with the most common compliments citing high quality, solid performance, and ease of use. In fact, we ran across more than one customer review claiming it was the best blender they’d ever used.
With this said, we encountered very few complaints related to the Duo Blender, which referenced leaking, the unit’s loudness when blending, and fear that the electronics would not hold up very long to regular use.
From a company perspective, the Ninja Duo Blender is manufactured by Euro-Pro Operating LLC, who also makes the Ninja Cooking System, Pro Blender, and the Mega Kitchen System. Among HighYa readers, these products hold an average 4.5-star rating, with many of the same compliments noted above.
Despite having more than 250 closed complaints (as of 12/23/14), the company holds an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. Many of these appear to reference order totals that were much higher than originally intended, and difficulty receiving parts covered under warranty/processing refunds. Granted, most of these complaints reference the company’s Shark Sonic Duo and Shark Rotator vacuums, not their blenders.

Will the Nutri Ninja Duo Blender Kick-Start Your Healthy New Life?
Chopping to the Point: Considering the company’s customer reputation for manufacturing high-quality, reasonably-priced blenders and nutrient extractors, it appears likely that you’ll be pleased with your Nutri Ninja Duo Blender. However, remember that losing weight and staying fit takes willpower and perseverance; not just adding fruits and veggies to your blender each day.
With this said, if you decide to purchase your Duo Blender directly from the company, be wary of numerous upsells during the checkout process, and make sure you know your order total before your payment is processed.

Beware if you are in Canada.
I was told without a doubt, the price I was quoted was Canadian. I understand it's a US site but that's why I asked. The infomercial sent me to tryninjaduo.ca, not .com So I believe them. When the bill posted to my account, it's in US and the conversion is shocking. Now I was to pay $100 more than I can buy it at any store in Canada. I called and canceled, lets hope they are true to their word and they did cancel my order. Beware.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great product, but be sure to review the price.
I just received my Ninja Duo and made my first smoothie. It's easy to use and worked better than expected. I highly recommend this as a blender and I'm looking forward to it's purported processing capabilities.
I noticed on this website it states that the processing bowl is included in the $199.00 price and the infomercial certainly makes you think it's included as well, but, when I was placing my order, they tried to make me pay an additional $20 for this item calling it a shipping fee even though they boast "free shipping".
I felt duped and told them so and said not to send the bowl. Guess what? They said in that case they will include the bowl at no additional cost. I appreciate that they included it, but I can't help but feel that their marketing could be a little more up front.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
