About Perfect Clasp

Perfect Clasp is a magnetic jewelry clasp they claim is a snap to use. Add these attachments to your favorite necklaces or bracelets and they say you will be able to instantly join them together without any help, even if you have long fingernails or arthritis.

There is no information about who makes Perfect Clasp, but it seems to be a very similar product as EZ Clasp or Clever Clasp; however, there is no indication they are sold by the same company, nor any information about any of those businesses on the BBB website.

How Perfect Clasp Works

Perfect Clasp claims to be an alternative way to close necklaces or bracelets around the desired appendage. They state that the tiny clasps included on most jewelry are difficult to open and close, especially if you have arthritis or long nails. Oftentimes, a spouse or partner is needed for assistance.

With Perfect Clasp, they claim you can do it by yourself almost instantly. The Perfect Clasp is essentially a set of extensions you add to your necklace or bracelet that have a magnet on each end; they come in gold and silver colors which they claim matches your jewelry. To use, first attach via the clips to the desired piece. Then, when putting on the item, bring the two ends of Perfect Clasp close together and the magnet will do the rest, clicking it together. As an added bonus, they claim each Perfect Clasp is “upgraded” with a barrel lock - with a twist of the fingers, the piece is sealed together. They claim Perfect Clasp will even secure your heaviest pendants.

Each Perfect Clasp Order includes:

  • Set of 2 gold-colored, 2 silver-colored Perfect Clasps (with barrel locks)
  • Travel pouch
  • Extra set of Perfect Clasps “free” (additional S & H)

Perfect Clasp Pricing, Shipping, and Returns

They say your set of Perfect Clasps costs $10 plus $7.95 S & H but what they don’t tell you is that they automatically double the offer “free” but add an additional $7.95 shipping. That makes the total $25.90 for 8 Perfect Clasps and 2 pouches. (In addition, when you click Process Order, you are also signing an arbitration agreement.) They say you have 30 days to try Perfect Clasp and if it doesn’t work for you, return it (you pay shipping charges) and they will refund your initial $10 but not the $15.90 in fees.

Bottom Line: Is Perfect Clasp a Scam?

As mentioned, there are a lot of these products out there with similar claims. People seem to like them for necklaces, but some have complained that they add too much length to bracelets, causing them to slip off the wrist. (You also still have to initially fasten Perfect Clasp to the jewelry using the standard clasps on the other end of the product.) If Perfect Clasp appeals to you, we suggest purchasing from a big box store that doesn’t charge excessive fees.

    Total Rip-Off

    • Texas,

You order, they charge You. They never deliver your order, but get your money anyway. You try to contact them by phone with no hope at all. Try to go to their website and it is so conveniently down for repairs for months on end. I would say it is a TOTAL RIP-OFF. No regard for the general public or disabled people at all. Which is who they claim to be trying to be helping out in the first place (people with difficulties and disabilities). And all they are doing for us disabled people are stealing our money from us..

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
