About Personal Pedi Max

Personal Pedi Max is a battery-operated foot care device that features rotating micro mineral and buffing rollers, as well as 2 different speed settings in order to provide more torque and to “roll away calluses in seconds.”

In addition, Personal Pedi Max’s waterproof design means that it can be used in the shower, and its one-button operation means that you can get your very own “foot massage” quickly and easily. And when you’re finished, Personal Pedi Max’s rollers are claimed to be easily cleaned with water.

When it comes to removing calluses from your hands and feet, there are dozens of options you can choose from. But should you give Personal Pedi Max a try? Consider the following:

Personal Pedi vs. Personal Pedi Max

While Emjoi’s Micro Pedi was one of the original callus rollers, other “As Seen on TV” companies are entering the field with the likes of Personal Pedi and Personal Pedi Max.

In fact, the original and Max versions appear to be essentially the same products, although the Max has a slightly different design and an added speed.

Other Callus Removal Options

Speaking of which, keep in mind that rollers may not be the best way to remove your calluses, depending on how thick they are, as well as your personal preference. Thankfully, you have dozens of other options to choose from, including files, scrapers, pumice stones, and even liquids such as Callus RX and Callus Magic.

In addition, many of these options can be found at your local pharmacy or big box retailer, often for less than Personal Pedi Max, which could help save you a big chunk of change in non-refundable S&H charges (more about this in the Pricing section).

Customer Feedback for Personal Pedi Max

Personal Pedi Max was a very new product at the time of our research (URL registered April 2015) and didn’t have any online customer reviews available.

However, the nearly identical Personal Pedi had 21 HighYa reviews, with an average rating of 2 stars. Here, common complaints cited poor quality and failure to work as advertised. In fact, multiple reviewers claimed that their Personal Pedi stopped working after only a couple uses, and one customer even claimed theirs almost caught fire.

As such, unless the Personal Pedi Max has undergone a significant redesign, it would be reasonable that you could expect to experience much of the same.

Personal Pedi Max is manufactured by National Express Online, an up-and-coming company within the ASOTV industry who also makes XHOSE, Dap XHose, and the Sobakawa Cloud Pillow. Among these, HighYa readers have given them an average rating of 1.5 stars, with common complaints citing poor quality and failure to work as advertised.

Personal Pedi Max Pricing & Refund Policy

Personal Pedi Max is priced at $19.95 plus $6.95 S&H and comes with a 90-day refund policy, less S&H charges.

In order to request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at 855-870-3714.

Should You Spend Your Money on Personal Pedi Max?

Chopping to the point: Considering the original Personal Pedi’s poor online customer reviews, as well as the manufacturer’s reputation for making low-quality products that don’t perform as advertised, we might recommend exploring local options before placing your Personal Pedi Max order.
