Cassey Ho’s PIIT 28 program claims to offer something new, though. This 28-day Pilates intense interval training “adventure” claims to melt fat, sculpt lean muscle, improve posture, build confidence, save time, and more—all in less than 30 minutes per day.

Each PIIT 28 workout consists of unique moves that will be performed for 45 seconds before progressing to the next one. Although these moves are short, because you’ll reach your maximal effort each time, Cassey claims you’ll elevate your metabolism and continue burning fat long after you’re finished. In fact, Cassey claims that PIIT 28 will get you “burning more fat and more calories in half the time.”

And with the PIIT 28-day reset meal guide, Cassey promises to help you eat healthy to achieve the beautiful body you’ve always wanted.

Will PIIT 28 really “transform you into the strongest, leanest, and most confident version of you”? Or, is this yet another fitness program that you’ll be bored with a month from now? Let’s dig in and find out.

What Is Pilates & Intense Interval Training?

The namesake for Pilates comes from Joseph Pilates, who developed his series of moves and exercises to help dancers heal from their injuries.

Similar to yoga, Pilates exercises are often inspired (and named after) the movements of zoo animals. Unlike yoga though, Pilates moves generally focus on strengthening the body’s core, such as the abdomen, thighs, but, and so forth. This makes Pilates ideal for improving strength and flexibility, while decreasing the chances of injury.

With hundreds of different moves available, it would probably take you a while to get bored with Pilates. However, these moves often focus more on proper form (instead of the burn you get from exhausting a specific muscle group), so it may not be considered the greatest fat burner.

Enter intense interval training (or, high intensity interval training (HIIT), as it’s more commonly known). Here, you’ll complete a period of intense exercise, followed by a brief rest period, followed again by intense exercise, over the course of several minutes.

The benefits? Much of what HIIT has to offer depends on the type of body you’re looking to achieve, but it’s been shown to increase muscle mass, burn calories, improve cardiovascular fitness, and boost aerobic power output better than cardio alone.

With these descriptions firmly in mind, let’s take a look at how the PIIT 28 program works.

How Does PIIT 28 Work?

Although there isn’t a whole lot of information available on the PIIT 28 website, there were dozens of independent bloggers who reviewed the program (more about this shortly), which gave us a much better idea of how it works.

Basically, over the course of 28 minutes and 40 seconds, you’ll complete a cardio move (such as jumping, burpees, etc.) for 45 seconds, followed by a 15-second break, followed by a Pilates move (which will focus on a specific muscle group, such as abs). You’ll do each move in the workout seven different times before finishing, and each day you’ll focus on a different body part.

Overall, Cassey’s PIIT 28 fitness program features 80+ unique exercises that can help prevent boredom, 100+ animated GIFs you can use for reference, 15 professionally filmed follow-along workout videos, and 15 printable workouts.

Although it’s not technically part of the program, Cassey’s Blogilates 28 Day Reset is the companion nutrition guide for PIIT 28, which she claims will “help you rediscover your body’s true balance.” To do this, you’ll start by eliminating certain food types and ingredients, such as dairy, gluten, processed grains, and more. This will help you “discover any food sensitivities you may be unaware of.”

In the 28 Day Reset, you’ll also find 150+ clean eating recipes developed by trained chefs and nutrition coaches to make sure they taste good, while giving your body all the nutrition it needs throughout the course of the program. You’ll also find fill-in meal planning calendars, grocery lists, and much more.

Does PIIT 28 Come with Positive Customer Reviews?

As we mentioned above, essentially the only PIIT 28 reviews we found during our research were through independent bloggers. While we have no doubt these reviews were unbiased, it’s important to note that most were from PIIT 28 ambassadors, who receive commissions from those signing up for the program through their affiliate links.

Nonetheless, most feedback we encountered was positive. Morgan Bullard claimed she lost an inch off her waist and 1.25” from her hips, although she didn’t actually lose any weight (we’ll come back to this point in the final section). Tavi from Get Up Make Up Dress Up found the exercises to be challenging at the beginning, although she appreciated the modifications that made it easier. In the end, she was very pleased with her results.

From a company perspective, PIIT 28 is brought to you by oGorgeous Inc., who had an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau, based on just one closed complaint (as of 5/23/16).

Who Is Cassey Ho?

Originally interested in fashion, Cassey started out as a full-time fashion buyer in Boston, MA after graduating from Whittier College. Once there, she began uploading fitness videos to YouTube, and within five years had amassed more than 1.8 million subscribers, with 60,000 daily views, making her the top fitness channel on the website.

According to Cassey, she designed the PIIT 28 program after traveling extensively and finding it difficult to complete her fitness routines on the go. Now, she claims that anyone can sweat and get stronger with no equipment and very little space.

Today, Cassey runs the popular Blogilates website, as well as her new line of activewear named Bodypop. She’s also released a fitness DVD named POP Pilates: Total Body Workout, as well as a book titled Cassey Ho’s Hot Body Year-Round.

Will Cassey Ho’s PIIT 28 Program Give You Results?

Millions of people utilize Pilates to increase their strength on a daily basis, and just as many implement HIIT workouts into their fitness routines. Why? Because these methods can definitely provide results. However, there are a couple things to keep in mind before handing over your hard-earned money for PIIT 28.

First, although PIIT 28 is arguably the most popular, there are dozens of other fitness programs that combine Pilates and HIIT, so Cassey’s many not necessarily be unique from this perspective. Granted, many people seem to really enjoy Cassey’s personality, which might not be something you’d get from another instructor.

Speaking of which, personal preference will play a huge role in your success, regardless of the program you’re using. For example, you might prefer a different style of instruction, different types of workouts, and so forth. So, while Pilates and HIIT have been shown to work, they just might not be up your alley—and you won’t be able to receive a refund if you’re not pleased.

Next, after reviewing dozens of different fitness programs and products, we’ve learned that nutrition is equally as—if not more—important that the workouts you’re doing. So, even if you don’t purchase Cassey’s nutrition program, if you’re looking to maximize your results, we’d certainly recommend sticking to one.

Finally, you’ll notice that Cassey doesn’t claim that her PIIT 28 program will help you lose weight, which is something that seemed to be reflected in many of the reviews we read. Sure, you may lose inches and look fitter, but you might not shed a lot of pounds in the process.
