About Power Innovator

Created by Prof. Dr. Richard Goran, Power Innovator is a digital program that’s claimed to show you how to make a bifilar pancake coil that can legally cut your energy bills by 82%, but only costs $63 and takes about 2 hours to build, all using parts available from your local hardware store.

On top of this, the Power Innovator Program claims that this device can fit in your pocket, but can power everything from small radios to big refrigerators, and is virtually maintenance-free. In fact, Dr. Goran claims that Power Innovator has already been used by 32,211 people to boost any electricity source five-fold, instantly and permanently.

Ask 100 people if they’d like to drop their energy bills by 80%, and you’re likely to receive 100 emphatic “yes’s”—yourself included. But is this actually what the Power Innovator Program delivers, or is it just a huge waste of money? Consider the following:

Who is Nikola Tesla? Who is Prof. Dr. Richard Goran?

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American who lived from 1856 to 1943, and who gained a reputation as a “mad scientist” of sorts. Tesla was especially interested in electricity, and held more than 300 worldwide patents by the time he passed away at age 86. One of these was the bifilar pancake coil (also known as a Tesla coil).

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Richard Goran appears to be a fictitious individual, as there are no references to him outside of mentions in Power Innovator promotional material.

What is a Bifilar Pancake Coil?

A bifilar pancake coil, also known as a Tesla coil, is an “electrical resonant transformer circuit invented by Nikola Tesla around 1891. It is used to produce high-voltage, low-current, high frequency alternating-current electricity. Tesla experimented with a number of different configurations consisting of two, or sometimes three, coupled resonant electric circuits. Today their main use is for entertainment and educational displays, although small coils are still used today as leak detectors for high vacuum systems.”

In addition to entertainment and education, Tesla coils have the ability to handle very high voltage. In fact, “Employing copper wire and glass bottles, an amateur electrician can build a Tesla coil that can produce a quarter of a million volts.”

In addition, the energy produced by Tesla coils also appears to violate our fundamental understanding of physics, as it can be transmitted between two boxes (Faraday cages), does not weaken over distance, and can continue operating devices for a period of time, even after the power source has been removed.

Can a Tesla Coil Power Your Entire Home?

While this is certainly exciting, can Tesla coils be used to power an entire home, or even a whole city?

The short answer: No.

The detailed answer: While it may be technically possible to power your entire home using them, Tesla coils present some serious safety and health concerns for anyone in close proximity, so they’re typically not ideal for powering large areas (such as an entire home); only smaller devices. Which is why this technology hasn’t been implemented to bolster (or even replace) traditional power grids.

Are Consumers Electrified Over the Power Innovator Program?

Power Innovator is only sold through affiliates who earn a commission from each sale of the program they refer. As such, if you type “Power Innovator review” into your favorite search engine, you’ll receive dozens of results, all of which appear to give the program rave reviews.

However, these sites are created by affiliates to appear legitimate, but they’re actually just fake reviews filled with more marketing hype.

Outside of this, there weren’t any online customer reviews for Power Innovator available at the time of our research.

Power Innovator Pricing & Refund Policy

Power Innovator is priced at $49, for which you’ll receive blueprints to build your own Tesla coil, as well as an instructional video.

Power Innovator is sold through Avangate and comes with a 60-day refund policy. In order to request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at (650) 963-5701.

Will Power Innovator Change the Way You Power Your Home?

Chopping to the point: Although Tesla coils exhibit some fascinating properties that seem to violate our current understanding of physics, and can be used as a hobby device to power lightbulbs and other small electrical devices, they are not suitable for large-scale residential implementation due to the significant safety hazards they present.

Because of this, while the Power Innovator Program might be useful for teaching you how to build a Tesla coil and powering a few small devices, you won’t be able to significantly scale it up to power your entire (or even a significant portion of) your home.

With this said, if you’re simply interested in learning how to build a Tesla coil to conduct your own experiments, there are dozens of online resources that can help you accomplish this for free (other than the cost of materials).

Power innovator or Power "Nikola Tesla" Innovator 2016

I purchased this product through PayPal, watched the video and immediately saw it couldn't live up to its claims.

I asked the seller for a refund, no reply, escalated it to a claim under PayPal buyer protection and they decided in the sellers favor. Asked seller again for a refund under the 60 days money back guarantee, still no reply.

I clicked on the contact us link in the video, wrote to them, they said they had no record of my payment. I showed them my PayPal transaction, still denied any knowledge. My money went somewhere and looks like it's lost for good. Keep well away. A total scam and rip-off. I'm totally disappointed with PayPal's buyer protection. It's worth nothing. My PayPal payment went to someone called Nysil Pino. Watch out for that name because you will never get a refund from him/her.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Power Innovator

Hi, I am an electrician by trade, I pay $ 80 for the downloads, that I got back without a hassle, went I found out that it don't work. There is no way, to keep the induction top unit on, to place the coil that I built on top, to produce electricity, how they show on the video. i don't know how they do it.
