I'm menstruating again.

By Lorna , Poconos, PA

I started taking Profemin two weeks ago and it helped with being hot. But after going six months without menstruating, I was wondering why I am now having a period again? I'm sending them back.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Company Response from Ideal Living Management, LLC

Hi Lorna. We can certainly understand your concern. Before a woman is completely in menopause, it is common to go many months without a period and then begin menstruating again, followed by other long stretches without menstruating. The onset of natural menopause is confirmed only after 12 consecutive months of being period-free.

I'd recommend Profemin.

By Pamela Switzer , Cleveland, OH

I've been taking Profemin for three weeks now. The first thing I recognize was my irritability and moodiness less severe. I could go from 1 to 100 in a minute and the stress of it. Now my moods are calmer and I can think clearer. I sleep better, can lay down and fall asleep. No more vaginal dryness and best of all I am not fatigued when I wake. I'm also ok with the pricing because I chose the vitamin d blend, so roughly I'm paying $50 a month. So it's $100 bi-monthly. I'm okay with it because I truly wanted to feel better and I truly do. It felt good to be calm when I was challenged by my everyday life and not to respond the way I was accustomed to. I'd recommend Profemin and hope it gives you the same effect. It's been roughly three weeks, I'm hoping this does it.

Causing side effects

By Sandra , California

It is causing me constipation. I never have a problem in that area until I started taking the product and then I began experiencing pains in my stomach. I'm probably going to send back. Everyone's body is different and Profemin is not agreeing with mine

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It helped me

By Norma , Uvalde, Tx

I have been on Profemin for 3 months and it did help me with vaginal dryness and has reduced my night sweats. It does say it reduces menopausal symptoms not a cure. And it does say it may not work the same for everyone. It worked for me. I would rather take herbal natural pills than chemical drugs.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Arbitration Agreement

By Mrs. Pedersen , Alaska

In ordering this product it already has an arbitration agreement that you agree to, prior to purchasing this product. Which means it is more likely not as safe as advertised.

Arbitration agreement: "Finally, keep in mind that you’ll be submitting to an arbitration agreement when placing your Profemin order, which means that you’ll be waiving your right to a jury trial or to become part of a class action lawsuit related to your use of the supplement."

I work in the medical field & this should be "The FIRST CLUE OF JUST HOW SAFE IT IS."

Read the fine print. Dismiss the wonderful glamor it shows or talks about prior to letting you know about the clause you agree too when ordering. Even regular prescriptions do not have you sign a arbitration clause agreement prior to taking their medication (unless you are in a study). I was going to purchase this product until I saw my first warning. I do realize I have not purchased this merchandise and now you know why. I must mark the box that I confirm that I am a real person and this is just the beginning of my experience. I did my research and it always has the clause. Unable to fight for compensation if this medication makes you ill, causes you more harm than good or worse - death. Is this what you want to take? If it is FDA approved then it would be available in stores on the shelves.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not For Me

By J.L. , Michigan

I used it for almost 3 months. It helped with being hot and the vaginal dryness. Well, after going 6 months without menstruating, I began having periods again. Longer and super heavy! Worse and worse every month. My doctor told me there must be something in it acting like estrogen. Advised me to stop taking it since there wasn't a full disclosure of what's really in it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
