Provasil is claimed to be a patented, scientifically advanced, multi-action nutritional supplement designed to boost memory and information recall, intensify focus for detailed-oriented tasks, increase mental alertness and performance, and support the physical structure of the brain. As a result, Provasil is claimed to help enhance not just your memory, but your overall brain health, and to combat the subtle mental decline that many people experience as they get older.
But can Provasil work for you? Can it help you remain clearer and operate at a higher level during the day, whether you’re hard at work or playing with your grandkids? Consider the following:
Are Provasil’s Ingredients Effective at Improving Memory?
According to the Provasil website, the supplement uses researched, proven ingredients (what the company calls a “Cognitive Function Complex”) that boost levels of key neurotransmitters in your brain and correct minor vitamin deficiencies, resulting in improved thinking and brain health. These include:
- Vitamin C 300mg
- Folic Acid 600mcg
- Vitamin B12 300mcg
- Biotin 150mcg
- Choline Bitartrate 150mg
- L-Tyrosine 100mg
- N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine 100mg
- Bacopa Monnieri 100mg
- Ginkgo Leaf 60mg
- Phosphatidylserine 50mg
- L-Glutamine 45mg
- Phosphatidylcholine 30mg
- Panax Ginseng Root 30mg
- Resveratrol 25mg
- Docosahexaenoic Acid 5mg
However, as we detailed in our article titled The Truth About Memory Supplements, most nootropic supplements contain ingredients that have very little evidence showing they can improve brain function or brain health in a measurable way. Or, at the very least, that any of the benefits you can realistically expect to achieve are out of line with the supplement’s price.
With this said, according to WebMD, there is insufficient clinical evidence showing that vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, choline, l-glutamine, phosphatidylcholine, resveratrol, or docosahexaenoic acid can provide any benefits related to brain function. This isn’t to say that these ingredients don’t provide any benefits at all, just not related to brain function.
On the other hand, some of the following ingredients do have at least some clinical evidence showing they help:
- L-tyrosine for mental alertness after lack of sleep.
- N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine for improving memory in elderly individuals or those who suffer from alcohol abuse, as well as treating some symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
- Bacopa monnieri – “Some research shows that taking specific brahmi extracts (KeenMind; BacoMind) improves some measure memory in otherwise healthy older adults.”
- Ginkgo may slightly improve memory.
- Phosphatidylserine for age-related memory loss.
- Panax ginseng for Alzheimer’s disease and mental function.
Can You Believe All Provasil Reviews You Read Online?
At the time of our writing, Provasil appears to be a very new product. This means that, when we performed a Google search for Provasil Reviews, other than affiliate websites which appear to be posing as legitimate reviews and a few other articles, there aren’t any online customer reviews that can be used to gauge overall satisfaction levels in our opinion.
We did learn that Provasil is manufactured by a company named Cognetix Labs, although there isn’t any detailed information available about the company online.

Can Provasil Help You Keep Up with the Younger Generation?
Chopping to the Point: About a third of Provasil’s ingredients have been clinically shown to provide at least some brain benefits, although the supplement itself has not. However, without any online customer reviews available at the time of our research, it’s difficult to say whether or not these benefits are worth Provasil’s high price.
Instead, you might want to first speak with your physician about Provasil, as well as other cost-effective methods of improving cognition and brain health.

My 2 Week Experience with Provasil
I have only taken Provasil for 2 weeks and will not take another tablet. It has substances that contribute to diarrhea and people should be warned. If you have any kind of colitis, your problem will be exacerbated.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
