About ReviveRX Skincare

ReviveRX Skincare claims to be an advanced facial cream containing a mix of essential vitamins, peptides, and antioxidants that can increase collagen synthesis, reduce wrinkle depth, decrease dark under eye circles, and decelerate your skin’s natural aging process. Because of this, ReviveRX Skincare is claimed to provide clinical strength without a prescription, to turn back the effects of aging at the cellular level, and to help take years off your skin in a matter of days.

In order to accomplish these benefits, ReviveRX Skincare’s ingredients include:

  • Argireline – A peptide that may help reduce wrinkle depth.
  • Trylagen – A peptide and protein combination that is claimed to help improve collagen synthesis and prevent wrinkles.
  • Pentavitin – A “moisture regulator” that is claimed to work better than other types of moisturizers.
  • Prunus Dulcis (sweet almond) Oil
  • Persea Gratissima (avocado) Fruit extract
  • Daucas Carota Sativa (carrot) Root Extract
  • Panax Ginseng Root Extract

According to the manufacturer, ReviveRX will give you tighter, rejuvenated, and more nourished skin in less than 2 days, and a visible reduction in wrinkle depth after 30 days. In addition, with continued use, ReviveRX is claimed to prevent dry skin, itching, peeling and cracking, and to help maintain skin suppleness and elasticity.

You love how you feel, but you may not recognize the face staring back at you in the mirror each morning any longer, and you want to know if there really is a “fountain of youth” that can make you look as good on the outside as you feel on the inside. But is ReviveRX Skincare the solution you’ve been looking for? Consider the following:

Is ReviveRX Skincare’s Ingredients Effective?

Argireline is a proprietary formulation of peptides manufactured by Lipotec that’s claimed to restrict your facial muscles from contracting, similar to a topical form of Botox. While there aren’t any clinical trials shown on the manufacturer’s website proving that the formulation works as advertised, many online customers have expressed concerns about extended use of the product, including sagging skin and a change in skin texture, although no double-blind research has been published to confirm or refute these allegations.

Trylagen is another Lipotec formulation claimed to boost collagen production. According to the manufacturer, it has been clinically shown to increase collagen I and IV levels in vitro (in a test tube), although there doesn’t appear to be any third-party studies available online that confirm these findings.

Pentavitin is a Centerchem product that’s claimed to be a skin-identical carbohydrate complex derived from plant sources that can bind to skin and ensure “instant, deep hydration and generate a moisture reservoir that lasts for 72 hours.” Some of Pentavitin’s clinical results can be found here, although there is no third-party online confirmation of these results.

According to WebMD, prunus dulcis (almond oil) may help relieve chapped or irritated skin, although neither it, Persea Gratissima (avocado), Daucas Carota Sativa (carrot), or panax ginseng have sufficient clinical evidence available showing they can provide any kind of anti-aging benefits.

Other Concerns About ReviveRX Skincare

In addition to lack of clinical evidence for its ingredients, there’s no information provided as to what about ReviveRX’s formulation provides users with “clinical results.” Also, we noticed numerous misspellings on the ReviveRX website, which begs the question: If the manufacturer isn’t careful about the words included in their marketing materials, how careful will they be when formulating their products?

Are Consumers Talking About ReviveRX Skincare?

Although ReviveRX’s URL was originally registered in July 2013, other than affiliate websites, there weren’t any online consumer reviews available for the product at the time of our research.

In addition, there isn’t any information available online about the manufacturer. Interestingly though, the Contact section of the ReviveRX website indicates that the company is based out of Malta, while the Terms & Conditions indicates it’s based out of San Diego.

ReviveRX Skincare Pricing & Refund Policy

ReviveRX Skincare is only available through a 14-day “free” trial, for which you’ll pay $3.99 to cover S&H costs, and will receive a full 30-day supply. Be sure to uncheck the box located just below the order form, or you’ll pay an additional $1.99 for shipping protection.

After your trial has expired, you’ll be charged $89.95 for the full price of the product. You’ll also be enrolled in the company’s autoship program, which means you’ll continue receiving a fresh supply of ReviveRX once every 30 days, and your credit card will be charged $89.95 plus $3.99 S&H each time.

Important note: As we’ve discussed many times, including in our What is an Autoship Program article, it’s our opinion that products sold only through free trials and autoship programs should be avoided, as these are often more about charging you as much as possible than they are about providing you with any kind of convenience.

With this said, ReviveRX Skincare comes with a 30-day return policy, less S&H charges and a 20% restocking fee. In order to begin the process, you’ll need to contact customer service at 800-210-7127 for an RMA.

Can ReviveRX Skincare Help You Put Your Best Face Forward?

Chopping to the Point: Considering the lack of clinical evidence showing ReviveRX Skincare’s ingredients can reduce the signs of aging and the fact that it’s only sold through a trial, it’s our opinion that the anti-aging cream’s price is far out of line with any benefits you can reasonably expect to experience from using it.

    Rip off

I have been trying to cancel this for months. The stuff I am not using keeps coming. I am canceling my credit card to stop. They just ship stuff and provide no information and charges show up on my credit card. I will be making a claim with the better business bureau and FL states attorney.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam. Unauthorized charges of nearly $400.

    • San Francisco, CA,
    • Nov 14, 2015

My mother ordered a trial sample with supposed total cost of $9.69 for shipping and handling.

Mother received 2 bottles and was later charged $97.41 and $98.41 for the two bottles. Free sample? That's a total lie.

Two weeks later my mom got another shipment of the same two bottles and another two charges of $97.41 and $98.41. That's nearly $400 for a product that was supposedly free to try.

When my mom initially dealt with our bank (Citibank), they tried to put my mom on conference call with the company Revive RX Skincare rep who said the first shipment would not be refunded since it's been over 30 days (Order was placed on September 26th and it's 11/7/15 today). The other shipment from October would be refunded if shipped back to them. So because my mother received an unauthorized shipment, she must now pay for return shipping? I called back and spoke to Citibank who temporarily voided the charges while they investigate the matter.

Please be very careful online and otherwise when online companies ask for your credit cards for "trial size or sample" products. This is a scam that preys on the elderly, limited English speakers, and those who are not savvy with using the internet. Please be careful.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Trial Revive RX Eye Serum and Anti-aging Creams

    • Milwaukee, WI,
    • Jul 21, 2015

I'm very worried about my three trial products now. They arrived within a week in two separate packages with two different mailing addresses. One package had a brochure with only a web-site listed, no address or phone number. The package label indicates 8601 W. Washington St, Suite 200 Tolleson, AZ 85353. The other package had a Packing Slip with no company name, address, phone number, web-site or information about the trial period. The mailing address on the box says: PO Box 41542 St.Petersburg, FL 33743.

I'm afraid to look at my bank statement to see what I was actually charged. I'm also afraid that I made a huge mistake and will be billed monthly for a product I am unable to use and unable to cancel. I searched Facebook for a page and found nothing. Will continue my search. Will probably need to cancel my card. So sad that company's like this exist. So mad that I fell for it.

    Beware, avoid at all costs!

    • Great Falls, MT,
    • Jul 11, 2015

It is an OK moisturizer but certainly not worth the $99.00 they charge you after your free trial. It is impossible to cancel because when you call the phone number listed for customer service, you are sent straight to a bogus voice mail account and they never get back to you.

This is a total scam. They charge you $89.99 for the "sample" they send you and provide bogus information to your credit card company when you file a dispute. Stay away.

it is impossible to locate customer service

    • Colorado springs, Colorado,
    • Apr 3, 2015

For several days I have been trying to reach someone with Revive Rx. Google can't find it and there are several numbers that I have found that say Revive Rx but when I call them they don't have a clue what company I'm referring to. I have contacted several other people at the address they give which is on West Washington Street Suite 200 and there is no such company nor representative at that location.

I want to stop any further shipments to me as I will be moving out of state and because I don't like the idea that it is not easy to reach someone at this company. if they have a product that they're proud of, they should let themselves be known and found by providing a valid phone number. This is ridiculous, if this is the only way to reach someone from your Revive Rx company.

Please take this as a notice that I want them to stop all shipments to me and to stop billing anything to my credit card. I hope they don't even start to bill anything to my credit card thank you.

    Not Happy

    • Prescott, AZ,
    • Apr 3, 2015

First I did not get my product until a week later, which only gave me a week to try it as a free trial. Then I was charged the $89+. After 2.5 weeks of using the product, I don't see the results that they are claiming. I used it day and night.
