About Shred HDX

Shred HDX is a nutritional supplement claimed to contain a revolutionary formula that can help you boost your metabolism, increase your energy, suppress your appetite, increase sexual performance, and lose weight more efficiently. As a result, Shred HDX is claimed to provide you with extreme pumps, mental focus and intensity, and lean, hard muscles.

In order to accomplish this, Shred HDX claims to contain clinically tested and proven ingredients that are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility and tested for purity, including:

  • Yohimbine – May help increase blood flow, boost libido, and metabolize fat.
  • Hordenine – Derived from barley seeds, this ingredient may help suppress appetite.
  • Eurycome Longifolia (Tongkat Ali) – May help boost testosterone and increase dopamine production.
  • Epimedium Extract – May help improve blood flow, increase energy, and provide some neuroprotective benefits.
  • Green Tea – Contains catechins, which may help boost metabolism and fat loss.
  • Synephrine – May help boost fat breakdown within your body.
  • Garcinia Cambogia – Contains hydroxycitric acid, which may increase serotonin and prevent your body from turning glucose into fat.

Whoa! That’s a whole lot of really big claims, and you might be thinking, “Where has this supplement been all my life?” But before you hand over your credit card information to purchase Shred HDX, consider the following:

How Effective are Shred HDX’s Ingredients?

Compared to most other nutritional supplements we’ve reviewed here at HighYa, Shred HDX’s ingredients might come the closest to providing many of the benefits claimed by the manufacturer. Why? Because the manufacturer makes so many claims; from increased energy and boosted weight loss, to mental focus and lean muscles.

However, while this might be the case, it could be that the these benefits won’t be as intense as Shred HDX claims. This is because taking 5.4 to 6 mg of yohimbine three times a day may provide relief from impotence, but there’s no label provided on the Shred HDX website, so you can’t be sure that it contains enough to be effective. In fact, this goes for all of the ingredients contained in Shred HDX.

In addition, tongkat ali may be effective for improving sperm quality, but not libido. Epimedium may help improve blood flow to the penis, although this doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll find relief from impotence. Green tea may help improve mental alertness, primarily due to its caffeine content, but could represent a possibly unsafe mix when combined with synephrine (bitter orange).

Finally, hordenine and garcinia cambogia have little-to-no clinical evidence showing they can provide any of the benefits claimed by Shred HDX.

Are Consumers Pleased with Shred HDX?

Clinical evidence aside, are other consumers happy with the benefits provided by Shred HDX?

Because the supplement is so new, there weren’t any online customer reviews available. However, we did encounter numerous affiliate websites that appeared to be modeled after real reviews, perhaps to mislead you.

Shred HDX Pricing & Refund Policy

Shred HDX is only available through a 14-day trial. Here, you’ll pay $3.95 for S&H, and will be sent a 30-day supply (60 capsules) of the supplement.

After your trial has expired, you’ll be charged $86.90 for the full cost of the product, and will be enrolled in the company’s autoship program. This means you’ll continue receiving a fresh bottle of Shred HDX once every 30 days, and your credit card will be charged $86.90 each time. As we mentioned in our article about autoship programs, we typically recommend staying away from products offered through free trials, as they’re often about charging you as much as possible instead of providing you with any kind of convenience.

Outside of the trial, Shred HDX comes with a 90-day refund policy, less S&H charges and a $25 per-bottle restocking fee.

In order to cancel your trial or your autoship program, or to request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at 855-SHREDHD (747-3343) for an RMA.

Can Shred HDX a Miracle Supplement?

Chopping to the Point: In short, probably not. This is because, other than some minor benefits, there is little clinical evidence showing that Shred HDX’s ingredients can provide everything claimed by the manufacturer, making its high price out of line with any benefits you can realistically expect to experience. And even though the company offers a 90-day refund policy, you’ll be charged almost 30% of the product’s price in restocking fees if you decide to process a return.

Shred HDX is a complete scam. The "free trial" is not free at all; read the fine print and you will see that they will charge you immediately $96.90. What they don't tell you is that they will continue to charge you every month until you change your credit card number. Customer service consists of foreign workers telling you that there is nothing they can do, and you should fax your information to a number and that will launch an investigation. Needless to say, faxing the number does nothing. DO NOT fall for the "free trial" claim. Tell your friends, too. This company is nothing but a front for cheating people out of their money.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Scam Return Policy

    • Cumberland, RI,
    • Jul 31, 2015

My trial ended before I was able to even see any effects of the product and when I called to cancel it, it quickly prompted me to just dial the no. 1 to cancel. Thinking I was all set, I was still charged $186.00 for two bottles and told that because I canceled through the automated message that I still had to pay the 186.00. What a scam. They must make all their money off of people calling the automated customer number vs. speaking to a live agent. I had to go through two agents and one supervisor to finally be refunded and was told I would still have to pay a restocking fee of $25.00.

The free trial is not free at all. 14 days to see any results is ridiculous, so if you are going to cancel make sure you speak to a live agent. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get my money back to be told because I dialed 1 (clean cancel), they couldn't refund me. Mind you when you hit one it just says your trial is canceled. It doesn't say that you are still going to be charged for your "free trial" and you also waived all rights for them to reimburse you and your account was closed. Very tricky. One of the agents actually told me I should have called and asked first before I used the automated cancel. What? If it says to dial 1 to cancel, why would I question it?

It's too bad that this policy has completely overshadowed the product. I couldn't even tell you if it works because the trial isn't really a trial and because I think they are scamming people with their return policy, I'll never order from them again.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

  • Stay away. SCAM. Bad costumer service.

This had no visible effects during the trial period. If you cancel the free trial you will be charged. They have a really bad customer service. You will end up paying for this product twice more than the actual price on eBay or Amazon. What a scam! Do not buy, you will just spend your money.
