About SkinYouth Enhanced

SkinYouth Enhanced—an anti-aging cream claimed to be everything from a wrinkle reducer to an “injection-free solution for younger looking skin”—comes with the exact same claims we’ve seen hundreds of times before. Even all of these websites are identical!

What’s going on? Is this some crazy conspiracy to take all your money, or is SkinYouth Enhanced the real deal? We’ll cover everything you need to know here.

SkinYouth Enhanced: Same Claims, Same Product, Same Scam

“Amazing new Hollywood secret!”

“Better than Botox!”

“Advanced wrinkle reduction for dramatic, clinically proven results!”

Here at HighYa, we’ve seen this website template so often that we could probably recite the entire thing from memory. Really. This includes products like Suisse Anti Aging Serum, MiraVie Skincare, Brilliant Skin Serum, and many, many more.

This leads us to believe that all of these products are manufactured by the same company (or handful of companies)—and might even be the exact same products, just constantly rebranded to stay one step ahead of the consumer.

Pro tip: If this is your first time seeing one of these anti-aging products, be sure to read Exposing the Widespread Scam of Anti-Aging Products & Free Trials and Avoid These Anti-Aging Websites Like the Plague.

To explain how this scam works, let’s begin with pricing.

SkinYouth Enhanced’s Free Trial

The Setup

Like all of these other products, SkinYouth Enhanced can only be purchased through a trial. Pay $4.95 to cover S&H, and you’ll be sent a full size container.

The Hook

Think that’s a good deal? Hold on, because once your trial expires, you’ll be billed a whopping $94.94! Not only this, but you’ll also keep receiving a new supply of SkinYouth Enhanced every month, and charged $94.94 each time.

The Trap

The only way to get out of this (or to request a 30-day refund) is by calling SkinYouth Enhanced customer service at 888-959-6072. However, you’ll probably receive some (or a lot of) pushback from customer service. You might even have to cancel your credit card to stop the charges.

How do we know all of this? Because consumers have spoken out about their experiences.

Customers Aren’t Happy with Products Like SkinYouth Enhanced

Adding up all the reader reviews we’ve received here at HighYa, these trial-based anti-aging products have garnered thousands of response. And the feedback is rarely positive.

Most customers complain that 1) they weren’t aware they’d be charged full price once the trial ended, 2) that they would keep receiving the product, and 3) that they found it almost impossible to cancel trials or autoship programs.

What do we think? Based on our experience, we believe it’s fairly likely you’ll experience much of the same with SkinYouth Enhanced.

Now, you might be asking yourself, “What about all the claims on the SkinYouth Enhanced website? Is there any merit to them?”

Unpacking SkinYouth Enhanced’s Claims

We’ve already discussed that SkinYouth Enhanced uses the exact same site template as dozens of other anti-aging products. The manufacturers simply change the picture of the product and its name, and move on to snare more unsuspecting customers.

But even if we take their claims at face value, they still don’t hold up to scrutiny.

For example, SkinYouth Enhanced is claimed to have caused an 84% decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, a 95% increase in collagen production, and a 73% decrease in the appearance of dark circles. This occurred during an 8-week clinical study of “hundreds of women.”

What’s the catch? The manufacturer provides zero evidence to back this up. Why? In our opinion, it’s because these results are exaggerated or completely fake.

Here’s more: The only ingredients listed on the SkinYouth Enhanced site template are Biosphere, QuSome, and Biofil spheres. Of these, only QuSome is an actual product—and it just makes other ingredients more effective! In other words, it doesn’t provide any anti-aging benefits itself.

Bonus: Think SkinYouth Enhanced is the secret to your favorite actor’s flawless beauty? You might, since it’s claimed to be “Hollywood’s best kept secret.” The reality is that there’s no indication online that any celebrities (or anyone else in Hollywood) has used SkinYouth Enhanced.

Now, let’s put away the negative and talk about the positive.

How You Can Prevent Premature Aging

The good news is that if you’re looking to prevent premature aging, you have lots of options. This includes reducing sun and UV exposure (the number one cause of premature aging), quitting smoking, eating healthy foods and getting plenty of exercise, reducing alcohol consumption, and more.

And although the clinical evidence in limited in some instances, there are also a variety of vitamins and antioxidants you can use, such as vitamin E, lycopene, vitamin B3, etc. Even if you were to buy some of the supplements on their own, you’ll still spend much less than you would on a bottle of SkinYouth Enhanced—and will likely achieve better results.

Where does this leave us?

Should You Stay Away from SkinYouth Enhanced?

If you’ve read through this entire review, it’s probably no secret what we think about SkinYouth Enhanced, as well as the dozens of products exactly like them.

You’ll pay a lot, you’ll likely experience problems cancelling your trial/autoship enrollment or processing a return, and you’ll probably eventually throw your hands up in frustration. Which is exactly what these companies are hoping for.

Instead, we’d recommend speaking with your dermatologist about more effective methods of reducing the signs of aging. You can even get started by using some of the suggestions we provided above!

Big scam - I reported them to the BBB. I was told I had until 9/27 to cancel and I called on 9/27, then they said I had to call before 9/27. I was charged almost $200.00.

Scam And What Did I Buy?

    • Hampton, VA,
    • Jul 13, 2016

This company is a complete scam. The products I received weren't even what I thought I was purchasing. I called within the fourteen days, needless to say got the run around. Call back within the 30 days. OK really? Do not trust them but stop the payment you used! Protect yourself. I feel so stupid, I have never got caught up in such a mess. I will never trust such nonsense. Also, if this helps, call your financial institution to get the legal number for these crooks. All other numbers claim no connection to the company. So you see the pattern of this scam, This was a complete waste of time and money.

  • It's a Scam

    • Las Vegas,
    • Jul 5, 2016

I started to order a trial size of this product. When I saw that they wanted you to sign up for autoship I immediately stopped my submission. However they sent me the order. Unfortunately I was away from home for an extended period of time. They mailed me 2 autoship orders and charged my credit card. The credit card I used when I thought I was only ordering a trial size they fraudulently kept and used this for the autoships. Please do not order any trial sizes of this product it is a scam.

This company is a scam. Even if you call within the 14 days, they will say you didn't, and send out an order to you anyway, charging you full price. And they won't refund you.

    Horrible!

    • Santa Barbara, CA,
    • Feb 23, 2016

This company just keeps charging your credit card and makes it totally IMPOSSIBLE to get an RMA# to return the products once they've shipped them to you. You can call and call and if you are lucky and finally get a person to answer, they hang up on you once they know why you're calling. Just a horrible business and an expensive total scam. Steer clear!

    Boy, did I get taken!

What a scam, and just try to get your money back. After an hour of haggling, I finally got some of it back, but I was worn out before the representative said he would.

Just so you know, in the 14 days I used these two products, I saw very little improvement. And I'm going to throw out the rest of my $170 worth (which is funny), of product. And I hate it that these people now have all my information!

    MiraVie Trial is a Scam

    • Birmingham, AL,
    • Feb 19, 2016

I was told that I only had to pay a $5.95 shipping charge, for each product that I ordered. This meant that they weren't going to ship the products in one box, with one shipping charge, and that should have been the first red flag! Two weeks later, I was debited $85.95 and $89.95 from my account. Their customer service told me since I did not respond within the trial period with feedback, I was charged! My response was, what feedback? Anyway, do not fall into the same trap, like I did. And the product is not even good!

They offer you free sample, and then drain your bank account every month for $100. And they will not accept returns.

All of these products are a scams. I filed a fraud complaint with Visa, so that they can credit my card and then try to collect from the scam company. If it's successful, you will get your money back, but if they cannot solve the problem with the companies, you are still responsible for the claim. I will report back if it successful.

    Skin reaction

    • St. Cloud, MN,
    • Feb 10, 2016

I should have read their cancellation policy closer, after seeing "free sample, shipping only." I called their customer service several times and was told that my account would be deleted, but still see it as a charge to my checking account!

I called back on 1/22, after my face broke out from the products, and was told I would only get 75% of my money back, which leaves me about $50 short, for a product I cannot use! I will NEVER endorse their products. And, their service representative was very RUDE.

  • Hidden price billed without notification on shipping slip.

    • Bloomfield Hills, MI,
    • Feb 9, 2016

SkinYouth did not reveal the full price per product, they only mentioned shipping for a trial. Well, when I received the products, the invoice only indicated shipping costs. When I received my credit card bill I was socked with $165.00.

Needless to say, it's a scam. The products irritated my skin and I broke out in pimples.
