About Sol CBD
Sol CBD is a hemp-derived, full spectrum C02 extract tincture that contains a proprietary blend of water-soluble cannabidiol and ayurvedic herbs, and is legal in all 50 states without a prescription or medical card. And compared to the competition, Sol CBD’s “highly bioavailable” formula will deliver more active ingredients.
All of Sol CBD’s hemp is grown organically in Scandinavia, and the CBD-rich oil made from it is tested for purity and potency twice before being sent to the company’s labs. Then, Sol CBD tests the tincture a third time before shipping it to your door.
With so many states legalizing cannabis for medical and recreational use, you’ve probably heard about some of the benefits it can provide and wondered if it’ll work for you. But is Sol CBD necessarily your best option? Is it a good value? Let’s break everything down and get you some answers.
What Is Cannabidiol? What Does It Do?
Within the cannabis plant, there are 85 known cannabinoids, one of which is cannabidiol (CBD). Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) though, CBD is not psychoactive. In other words, you won’t get “high” from consuming a CBD-rich oil like Sol CBD, and the chemical won’t show up in drug tests.
So why take it? There is a lot of promising research showing that cannabidiol has a wide variety of potential medical benefits, including reducing the likelihood and severity of seizures in those with epilepsy, reducing anxiety, treating chronic pain, and more.
Because of these potential benefits and the fact that cannabis has become more socially accepted over the last several years, hundreds of CBD-based products have entered the market, including tinctures like Sol, along with capsules and topical solutions. But does Sol CBD contain enough active ingredients to make a difference?
How Effective Are Sol CBD’s Ingredients?
Because CBD use is a relatively new phenomenon, there aren’t any nutritional mandates from the government as to how much you should take for different conditions. However, we are told Sol CBD contains:
- Hemp Oil (Seeds & Stalks) 16.7mg
- Cannabidiol (CBD) 5mg
Important note: At the top of the Sol CBD website, it’s mentioned that the tincture contains 300mg CBD, which is more than the total amount of hemp oil it contains!
Sol CBD’s capsules (more about this in the Pricing section) also contain “Ayurvedic herbs,” although the only one we’re told about is turmeric. How does this compare to the competition?
Are There Other Tinctures Like Sol CBD?
Although Sol CBD claims to be unique, the truth is that they’re entering an already crowded marketplace of other tinctures. Just how many? Type “CBD tincture” into your favorite search engine and you’ll be met with hundreds of results. We’ve even reviewed a couple of the more popular options like BioCBD Plus and Miracle CBD Tincture.
What About Sol CBD’s Bioavailability Claim?
One major thing the company claims sets their CBD tincture apart is that:
“Sol CBD products are the latest scientific breakthrough that is the result of over 30 years of intense research & development done by Dr. Mewa Singh, PhD. By mimicking the natural processes of the human body, Dr. Singh has discovered a way to dramatically improve the bioavailability and absorption of CBD and Ayurvedic herbs through a patented all natural nanotechnology which makes them water soluble and small enough to pass effortlessly through the cell walls.”
But the reality is that many other CBD tinctures make this same claim, word-for-word, including BioCBD Plus. So in reality, there doesn’t seem to be much that distinguishes Sol CBD from all your other choices.
What about price? Does Sol CBD have an edge there?

Alright, before wrapping up, let’s talk about the company behind Sol CBD.
Who Makes Sol CBD? Are They Reputable?
There are a couple companies involved in bringing Sol CBD to you.
First, there is Halcyon Publishing based out of Las Vegas, NV, which is owned by husband and wife team Larry and Oksana Ostrovsky (the ones whose videos kept popping up on the Sol CBD website). It appears the company maintains a couple different blogs and promotes wellness-related e-books like Blood Test Results Decoded and Sleep Well Solution.
However, like a lot of the nutritional supplements we’ve reviewed, it appears that Halcyon Publishing doesn’t source the hemp or manufacture their CBD oil. Instead, it appears they purchase it from another company named Elixinol, and then put their own label on the bottle. This is what’s known as a white label product.
So, where does all this leave you?
Will Sol CDB “Bring Your Body Back To Health”?
Just like any other nutritional supplement, it’s difficult to say exactly how your body will react to tinctures like Sol CBD without rolling the dice and giving it a try. However, even if Sol CBD works perfectly, Leafly claims that tinctures are less concentrated and might be “more appropriate for mild symptoms and stress relief. Patients attempting to remedy severe pain and other ailments may want to seek out more potent alternatives.”
The reality is that the market is flooded with these CBD tinctures, and there ultimately doesn’t seem to be anything meaningfully different about Sol CBD that would justify its high price. So, if you’re dead-set on giving a CBD tincture a try, be sure to speak with your doctor and research all your options before placing an order.

SOL CBD does not care!
Well, I was a customer with SOL CBD, love the product but I did not get my last order from them, the postal service did not make the delivery and all that customer support from SOL CBD told me was, it out of their hands. This is really unfair to a regular customer on autoship subscription.
This is not how you should treat a customer. I would not recommend buying from SOL CBD under these circumstances.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
