About Stream Clean
Stream Clean is a carpet cleaning solution that claims to clean any type of stain without having to scrub the stain. It even claims to be able to get rid of old, set-in stains without any scrubbing. It also claims to eliminate the accompanying odor.
The product is from Plymouth Direct, based in North Wales, PA. It is sold under the “As Seen on TV” brand.
How Stream Clean works
Stream Clean uses “enzyme action” to eliminate stains and odors. All you need to do is spray it on a stain until the stain vanishes.
Reviews online are mixed, with people claiming that the product works as advertised while others say it works on odors but not stains and yet others saying it is effective on new stains but not set-in stains.
A video review on YouTube not only said the product didn’t work, but also pointed out that, despite what the TV commercials say, the directions on the can specifically direct you to leave Stream Clean on the stain and then blot it with a towel. This is exactly what the Stream Clean TV commercials tell you that you will be able to avoid doing with this product.
Stream Clean Pricing, Shipping & Return Policies
Stream Clean retails for $10, plus $7.95 shipping and handling. For an additional $7.95, you can get two cans of Stream Clean. So, for $25.90 you get two cans of clean stream and a free black light to help you find stains.
The product comes with a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee that does not include having your shipping and handling fees returned to you. You will also be responsible for paying to have the product returned to the company.
To return the product, you need to contact customer service for return authorization information.

- Claims animals will not be tempted to remark a spot after it is used

False Advertising. Stream Clean was a waste of time and money
Used Stream Clean on two different carpets for dog pee stains. It didn't work as represented on either carpet, in fact, it may have sealed-in the stain on one. I was able to remove the stains on one carpet with Resolve, and am still working on the other. Try Resolve first, it's less inexpensive and worked for me.
Don't fall for the two can offer from Stream and Clean. If you must, just buy one because it may not do anything other than waste your time.
I give Stream and Clean the worst rating which in this review is One Star. It deserves a No Star rating.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We bought Stream Clean after seeing a TV Ad. We have 2 dogs. It worked better than any product we have ever used. We are going to buy more. Thanks STREAM CLEAN.

It works, I have used everything. This is the only product that I have found to work - who cares If you have to scrub a little? The end result is no stains!

Don't buy this product or hype.
I bought this product with the hope that it would eliminate stains both old and new that my dog had left for me. When watching the commercial, it looks very simple to use without any scrubbing needed and that it eliminates the stain completely and that you can see the stain go away with a black light.
Prior to using this product, I used a black light to find all the stains on my carpet, I was surprised to find many stains my dog had left that I was unaware of. This product did not remove any of my pet stains but was good at removing other stains such as coffee and dirt.
I would have returned this product but the cost of shipping it back was not worth the loss that I had incurred.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friendView all 1 commentsHide comments

What about the smell? Did the urine smell go away?
