Called “the best male enhancement pill” by the manufacturer, Tengenix promises to provide a blend of natural and patented ingredients that are 100% guaranteed to make your penis bigger and thicker in weeks.
On top of this, we’re told Tengenix has been clinically tested to help you perform better, increase ejaculate, intensify erections, and more. Which is why the company claims it’s helped thousands of men experience “massive” growth.
You’re a busy man so let’s cut right to the chase: Can you expect Tengenix’s ingredients to increase the size and girth of your penis? Is this even biologically possible?
Even then, can you expect to send your performance through the roof and deliver like a porn star? Give us a few minutes, and we’ll help you find some answers.
How Does Tengenix’s APEX Technology Work?
While there’s no indication on the Tengenix website about exactly what constitutes their APEX technology, we are told two things:
First, that it’s clinically shown to “expand penile tissue to increase the size of a fully-erect penis by as much as 40%.” Second, that it works over five steps:
- The aphrodisiac blend helps contract blood vessels and focus blood flow to your groin area.
- Blood vessels will then rapidly dilate, increasing erection intensity.
- Next, PDE-5 and calcium inhibitors will boost sexual endurance and will “act as a precursor to penis enlargement.”
- By consistently using Tengenix over a period of time, this will “cause the penile chambers to adapt and expand, resulting in a permanently bigger penis.”
- Finally, by inhibiting the key neurotransmitters oxytocin and prolactin, you’ll be able to boost desire, stamina, and performance.
Sure, these are a lot of scientific sounding words, but is there any sound science behind these claims? To fully answer that question, let’s quickly start with some facts.
The Basics Behind Penile Biology
We’re not going to bore you to death in this section, but we need to lay some groundwork to make sure everyone’s on the same page.
In a nutshell (no pun intended), the penis contains three types of tissue: two side-by-side corposa cavernosa muscles, with corpus spongiosum (spongy muscle) in between.
When aroused, the brain sends signals for the blood vessels contained in the corposa cavernosa muscles to relax, which allows blood to flow, thereby increasing the penis’ size and firmness.
Then, once arousal ends, the brain instructs these same blood vessels to constrict, which moves blood out of the penis as it returns to its original flaccid state.
Given what we’ve just learned, is it possible to increase the size or girth of your penis?
Is It Possible to Increase Penis Size?
Whether talking about pumps, weights, pills, ointments, supplements, or creams, WebMD notes that none of these options have been proven to permanently increase penis size. In fact, many (especially pumps and weights) can cause damage.
Given this, what’s your only option? Again, returning to the same WebMD article, you can either:
- Option 1: Have the ligament cut that connects the penis to the pelvic bone, which allows about an inch or less of the shaft to be visible outside the body. However, this will be most effective from a visual perspective when flaccid, and won’t add length when erect.
- Option 2: Or, you can have fat or silicone implanted into your penis to increase thickness.
That’s about it.
But what about Tengenix’s specific blend of ingredients? Is it some revolutionary formulation that’s set to turn current medical knowledge on its head?
What Ingredients Are Found In Tengenix?
We’re told Tengenix contains a delayed release formulation of the following ingredients (no label was available, so dosages are unknown):
- Tongkat Ali
- Muira Puama
- Tribulus Terrestris
- Maca Root
- Wild Ginseng
- Horny Goat Weed
- Damiana Extract
- Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa Extract
- Butea Superba
Inside the body, l-arginine converts into a gas called nitric oxide (NO), which, among other things, helps expand blood vessels and improve circulation. Thus, WebMD lists 5g daily as possibly effective for improving sexual function in men with erectile dysfunction.
However, they don’t reference any clinical evidence indicating it can increase penis length or thickness, improve arousal, or deliver on any of Tengenix’s other claims.
Tongkat ali (also known as eurycoma longifolia) may help improve the quality and concentration of sperm in infertile men. Similarly, WebMD indicates tribulus might improve “sperm count, sperm movement, and volume of ejaculate in people with infertility due to low sperm count and reduced sperm movement.”
But again, in both of these instances, nothing related to penis size, stamina, or anything else.
Of Tengenix’s ingredients, ginseng is the heavy-hitter, since it may help improve sexual function in men with ED, reduce premature ejaculation, and even improve arousal. However, these benefits only relate to the Panax (Asian) form of ginseng, and we’re not told which one is found in Tengenix.
In addition to what we’ve discussed above, authority websites like WebMD indicate there isn’t enough clinical evidence to support the manufacturer’s claims for any of Tengenix’s other ingredients.
Will Tengenix’s Ingredients Cause Any Side Effects?
For the most part, should you experience any side effects with Tengenix, they likely won’t be anything worse than mild digestive upset.
However, arginine is known to cause low pressure. More importantly, WebMD notes that “Xanthoparmelia might be UNSAFE. It contains poisonous chemicals that can cause healthy body cells to die.”
For either ingredient, like muira puama and butea superba, not enough is known to fully understand potential side effects and safety.
How Much Does Tengenix Cost?
Tengenix is sold in the following quantities:
- 1 Bottle (no indication of capsule count): $69.95
- 3 Bottles: $129.95
- 6 Bottles: $189.95
The company was offering free shipping for a limited time during our research. All orders also come with a 90-day money back guarantee, less S&H charges.

Taking what we’ve learned so far about the clinical evidence behind Tengenix’s ingredients, along with its price, are customers finding this supplement provides a solid bang-for-the-buck?
Can We Learn Anything From Tengenix’s Customer Reviews?
Outside of the standard affiliate landing pages, we didn’t encounter any legitimate customer feedback for Tengenix at the time of our research.
However, we’ve investigated several other popular male enhancement supplements in the past (many of which include several of the same ingredients as Tengenix), including RexaVar, Evermax, Zynev, Nugenix, and more.
In fact, these types of supplements belong to an even larger class (again, many of which use the same ingredients) known as testosterone boosters. We even wrote an in-depth article about this class of supplements called Do Testosterone Boosters Really Work?
Overwhelmingly, the vast majority of HighYa readers give these types of products 2-star or lower average ratings. Why?
In general, most complaints claim that they don’t deliver on their promises and, as a result, that they’re priced way too high. In instances where free trials were available, many also complained they’re impossible to cancel, and that customer service was unhelpful—sometimes downright hostile.
Granted, none of this might hold true for Tengenix, since it seems to be a new product from a different manufacturer, and it’s not sold through a free trial. But given the frequency of these complaints, we think it’s worth knowing.
Taking everything together, is it time to place an order for Tengenix?
Will Tengenix Increase the Size of Your Penis?
Alone, we think the fact that authority websites indicate it’s biologically impossible to increase penis size or thickness using anything other than surgery speaks volumes about what you might realistically expect using a supplement like Tengenix.
Yes, it’s positive that there’s no trial involved (which we almost always recommend avoiding) and that the company seems to stand behind Tengenix with a 90-day refund policy. But there appears to be little (in many cases, zero) clinical evidence supporting the manufacturer’s claims.
Considering this, it might be the case that you’ll get more value for your money by speaking with your physician about any size or performance concerns you might have, instead of placing an order for Tengenix.
