About Thin Balance
Dr. Timothy Morley, who claims to be a woman’s hormone expert, has formulated a powdered shake called Thin Balance. He touts the ingredients as a “perfect” blend of vitamins, minerals, and botanicals to counter the hormonal imbalance that he says prevents weight loss in many women during menopause.
Thin Balance is sold by a company called New Product Solution; there is no further information on its website or the BBB. Dr. Timothy Morley is an M.D. who is a “Bio-Identical Hormone Specialist” and Board Certified in Function Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. His bio states he has a practice in Manhattan that focuses on combining fitness, nutrition, and supplements to eliminate “hormonal imbalances and creating harmony both internally as well as externally.” (Sorry, ladies, he’s also married.)
How Thin Balance Works
Thin Balance comes in powder form (with a choice of Decadent Chocolate or Sumptuous Vanilla flavor) that they claim is gluten-free. To use, place one scoop in a glass of water, stir, and drink. They recommend using Thin Balance for 14 or 28 days, which from their observations is optimal for the majority of women; their data shows women see results in 2-4 or 4-8 weeks.
Thin Balance claims to go inside your cells and rejuvenate adrenals, thyroid, and all metabolic systems, naturally addressing the “root cause” to balance hormones and reduce menopausal symptoms.
Thin Balance Ingredients
Below are the ingredients (with alleged benefits) in Thin Balance, none of which, as is noted on the website, have been evaluated by the FDA:
Calcium and Magnesium (healthy muscles); Maca (energy, libido); Ayuvedic (aka alternative medicine from India) blend of Alangium Salvitolium, Jujuba and Citrus Bioflavonoids; Dong Quai (aka female ginseng to support female health); Ginger (relief from cramps); Damiana (hormone balancing); Valerian Root (healthy sleep, reduce hot flashes); Chasteberry, Black Cohosh and Flax Lignons (support healthy female hormone production and balance); L-Arginine and L-Histimine (support hormone production); Natural whole food blend with colorful phytonutrients (antioxidents).
They strongly emphasize that Thin Balance does NOT contain female hormones, but rather “supports” your body’s natural ability to bring them into balance. They state it contains 14 grams of vegetarian protein.
What They Claim Thin Balance Will Do
Although the site says (according to FDA regulations) these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, Dr. Morley and the Thin Balance team make a lot of promises about the product. They include weight loss, increased libido, energy boost, reduced hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms, and improved sleep.
They also say using Thin Balance will reduce body fat, excess weight, promote muscle growth, lower calorie intake, provide vital nutrients, suppress hunger, and support balanced hormones. They add it works for perimenopausal women as well as those with premature menopause.
They state there are no side effects from using Thin Balance, but you should consult your doctor before using this or any other weight loss or health products, especially if you have serious health concerns.
The “Why” Behind Thin Balance
Dr. Morely says he has had years of experience with older female patients, complaining of being too tired, bloated, overwhelmed, or feeling unattractive and unable to enjoy life. To help them, he says he combined alternative and traditional medicines along with the feedback of patients to develop the formula for Thin Balance.
Dr. Morely claims that traditional medicine instructs women to eat properly and exercise to lose weight, but that’s not enough. He states you also need hormone balance. He compares it to a three-legged stool: without hormone balance, it is “impossible” to lose weight in a healthy way for the long term.

I purchased one can (2 weeks worth) and blended in the morning with 1 cup Almond milk, 1 frozen banana, and 1 scoop of powder. My results: no more hot flashes by day 3, 5-lbs weight loss, and sleeping much better.
My can cost me $39.99 and no shipping cost. There is NO auto-ship required and so I am not sure where the author of this article got their information. When I wanted another can, I simply called the phone number listed on the can.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
