Marketing scam.

By Bradford Scales , Newburgh, IN

A gimmick. Read all reviews folks. You receive this item and surprise, surprise it carries a label warning that the silicone strip inside the top band may cause irritation and a reaction on your skin. It does. Where the heck should I wear this? Over my jeans? I know, I'll wear long underwear all of the time, that's the ticket.

Also, and the most glaring feature is that this product doesn't impart any substantial compression factor to your joint. The free compression stockings they cut off of a roll at my Physical Therapy Clinic is three times as tight.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Would review if I ever received items

By Dee Casso , Las Cruces, NM

The worst customer service I have ever received. They claim my shipment was lost, five times. I am going to make a complaint to the BBB and call my credit card company for a refund. They will not call me back. The online chat is a joke and I do believe it is automated. Run, run and don't waste your time or money.

Shipping times

By David Stafford , Seattle, WA

Tommie Copper promises certain ship times that they can't make happen. If it ever shows up, I will let you know how it works.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It worked for my knee arthritis

By Elayne , College Station, TX

My husband bought me a knee sleeve since my knee hurt enough that I couldn't ride my road bike (because of osteoarthritis). Usually my knee pain would subside after 4 weeks or so and then back to normal, but this time it was several weeks longer & I was starting to get mad & depressed. My 800mg of Advil was just not giving me any relief this time. He bought my knee sleeve for $10 at a local sporting goods store. I immediately put it on & after about a half hour I was walking without pain. I have NO idea how this works, & I am not impressed easily or easily persuaded but dang, this thing works. I'm going riding tomorrow. It worked for me. I am 64 and not exactly svelte.

Knee sleeve

By Brian Torrie , Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

I believe in my own instance, this product helped take the swelling down at night. I thought it would help wearing it all day, but found it worked sort of worked.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Smells bad

By Janet Knight , Long Beach, CA

I bought a pair of compression leggings. They smell like mildew. I washed them, aired them out for days and they still stink. Waste of money. I also bought the elbow sleeves. They actually help my arms.

Compression knee sleeve

By Everett Mayo Adelman, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

The product was expensive and had slow shipping. I wore it one work day and by the end of the day my leg hurt. My leg was severely burned from the chemical in the latex band. This was three weeks ago and the scar is still there.

My Tommie Copper Wear

By Dixie Olson , Delhi, CA

I am a 68 year old disabled female, saw an ad on T.V. about Tommie Copper wear, so I began to order his products. I have the gloves, which helps with the numbness in my hands, the pants, and long sleeved shirt. I find this to be a wonderful product as it helps with all my aches and pains. I have never found anything like it, so if you have pain in your body try it! I just torn a tendon in my left arm so I am going to order a sleeve for that, as it is not torn enough for surgery but sure hurts when I move my arm. This is the best product I have ever tried that really works. It's very comfortable, light weight and works great. I hope every one with pain will try it. Thank you Tommie, you have given me a lot pain relief with your products. This is not a scam.

Customer Service with Tommie Copper

By John , Mattawan, MI

I ordered ankle brace on the phone and told them specifically what I wanted the performance brace. Instead, they sent me the recovery brace. When I called to tell them I received the wrong brace, customer service (Brian) told me I got what I ordered and then hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told they were in a meeting and I would receive a call back (which I never got). I've been ordering from Tommie Copper for two years and this type of service is unacceptable for the price of the product. Perhaps I need to find an alternative.

I love them but...

By Arlyne , Sebastian, FL

I love my Tommie Copper. They feel great and support and help me. I sell many too because so many people see me wearing them and I know after talking to them they become customers too.

However, I am 63 years of age and a semi retired woman with arthritis. I work and wear only these gloves three days a week in the non profit retail business for exactly 25 hours a week. After three months. my first pair had to be mended because the seams gave and the material at the base of my thumb on the palms of my gloves have worn out and I fear in a month or two they will wear through the fabric. I have just received my second pair and if the same thing happens I will feel that the $30.00 price tag does not justify their lifetime at 5-6 months.

I hope Tommie Copper will continue to improve on the quality of this glove so that it can keep its integrity for a longer period of time. Again, I would hate to be without them, that is how much I love the way they help my hands.

Not worth it

By Larry Kennely , Chicago, IL

Unfortunately, Tommie Copper does not live up to its advertisement. It contains poor construction. and not worth the investment in my opinion.
