About Triple Smooth
Triple Smooth Is a hair removal device for women with 3 separate rotating coils they promise will remove fine or rough hair anywhere on the body almost painlessly. They claim it’s better and safer than using a razor as the coils gently pluck the hairs out as it moves across your skin.
Triple Smooth is another product from Telebrands, the 30-year-old company responsible for the “As Seen On TV” logo and many other infomercials you see. They do have many complaints registered with the BBB, yet retain an A- rating due to their prompt resolution.
How Triple Smooth Works
Triple Smooth is pink and fits in your hand. Instead of using blades, it has 3 rotating coils strung across its U-shaped fork. To use Triple Smooth, place on the area of the body you’d like to get rid of hair; this includes peach fuzz on the face, upper lip, the tip of your toes, or even rougher hair around the bikini line. Then, roll across your epidermis; they tout the rotating coils will yank the hairs out by the roots but the pressure from Triple Smooth will greatly reduce the pain.
To prove to you how tough-yet-gentle it is, they show a man using it on his hairy arm, which quickly creates a hairless area around his forearm. Then, they rub Triple Smooth across a balloon, which does not pop.
Triple Smooth Pricing and Returns
Triple Smooth costs $10 plus $6.99 S&H for a total of $16.99 and they also include “Slow Grow Moisturizing Cream” of an unknown size. If you would like to double your order, add another $6.99 in non-refundable fees. All Telebrands products carry the same 30-day money back guarantee, minus shipping charges. In addition, you must include a written explanation as to why you’re returning Triple Smooth or they could say “nay” to your request.
Bottom Line: Is Triple Smooth a Scam?
Triple Smooth is a typical spring epilator device that may work as they say, but we wonder for how long? We fear the tiny springs may be difficult to clean and may be less effective with heavy use (its springs appear to be non-replaceable). It should be noted that some women with fine hair complain spring epilators don’t grasp their hairs well; others with sensitive skin find the plucking painful and can cause rashes. It's also important to note, that each hair removal case is different and as a result may take a bit longer than you would think.
With that in mind, we are not saying Triple Smooth is necessarily a bad product, just keep in mind the factors mentioned above before purchasing.
Let us know: did you purchase Triple Smooth and was it really as painless as they say, or was getting your money back the pain?

No Product to review
I purchased the triple smooth about 7-8 weeks ago. About three weeks ago I received a postcard in the mail saying that they had such a high volume of request it would take a few more weeks to received. Today I received another postcard saying my order was canceled that they could not get the product out to me. I just think its bull crap because i have been waiting on the product for nearly three months just to get a post card to say I'm never going to receive. I don't think this is very good customer service.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
