About Tru Energy

Tru Energy, an As Seen on TV product, promises to restore a youthful appearance to your skin using a magnetic wand that is calibrated to work with specially designed creams that perform a lot of sciency sounding things to your skin.

One of Tru Energy’s main selling points is that it is pain free, with no injections, no surgery and no painful procedures, but still virtually gives you a facelift.

How Tru Energy Works

Tru Energy is a multi-step process that you have to perform to get back youthful looking skin. The Tru Energy kit includes:

  • Tru Energy Wand & the Easy to Follow Step by Step Facial Map
  • Clarifying Facial Cleanser
  • Protective Therapeutic Daytime Treatment
  • Restorative Nourishing Overnight Treatment
  • Intensive Anti-aging Facial Serum

The creams are supposedly made from all natural ingredients and contain no dyes, fragrances, sulfates or petrochemicals. In fact, the product website has a long list of ingredients Tru Energy doesn’t have.

The “energy optimized” Wand, which is made from surgical stainless steel, combines massage with magnetic waves. You get a facial map that tells you how to run the wand over your face and this is meant to relax and loosen the underlying muscles in your face, thus lifting and redefining the structure of your face and neck.

The three creams and one soap, meanwhile, all allegedly contain dozens of natural anti-aging ingredients, plus “a unique, energized bead designed to interact with the wand” as you use it. The creams and soap are meant to be used at various times throughout the day, with a daytime cream, a night cream, a facial serum and two different soaps for your face (one of which you get for free with the offer, bringing the total number of facial creams/soaps to five).

You can visit the product website to read about the science behind how each cream or soap is supposed to work and to look at some of the many ingredients in them.

Used all together at the proper times, the entire kit is supposed to help define your jaw line, improve the tone and texture of your skin, balance your complexion, decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles and, most importantly of all, make you look younger.

Tru Energy doesn’t seem to have any consumer reviews online yet (unless you count reviews of the Australian power supply company of the same name).

Tru Energy Pricing, Shipping & Return Policies

In total, the Tru Energy Skin Care System will cost you $114.94. The breakdown is that you pay the company an initial shipping and handling fee of $14.95. You then have 30 days to try the product. If you decide to keep it, you will be billed $33.33 for three months.

For that, you will get:

  • Tru Energy Wand & the Easy to Follow Step by Step Facial Map
  • Clarifying Facial Cleanser
  • Protective Therapeutic Daytime Treatment
  • Restorative Nourishing Overnight Treatment
  • Intensive Anti-aging Facial Serum
  • Plus, the Deeply Purifying Facial Scrub

You will also have the option of enrolling in their automatic resupply program where you will be shipped a new supply to your home each month for $79.99 plus $8.95 shipping and handling for a total of $88.94 each month.

The company is extremely light on details about the free trial, but it can probably be safely assumed that should you wish to not purchase the product, you will likely have to pay the expense of shipping it back to the company and will not be refunded your initial shipping and handling fee.

The Bottom Line

These types of As Seen on TV deals are always a risk and with no consumer reviews online yet, this one is even riskier. Although the deal includes a 30-day free trial, you will almost assuredly be set up for automatic payments once you place your purchase and, if past reviews of these types of deals are anything to go by, it will likely be very difficult to get yourself taken off of these automatic payments and get any money back from the company.
