I put an item up for sale on all of the main apps. I had many inquiries from Wish, and nearly all of them were scam based.
The two I want to highlight are the girl who sent me a fake email from PayPal saying that the money had been taken from her account and was being held pending me supply the tracking number for the goods. PayPal does not operate that way, and so I let the girl know in colorful terms that she was trying to scam me.
The second experience I want to share is the guy who sent me a check for twice the amount of my item and told me to bank it and give the extra money to his shipper. The scam here is that you give his shipper the item and the cash and they cancel the check. It only works if you are stupid enough to fall for it.
I have complained several times to Wish Local and have never had a reply.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
