About Vitarid-R

The Vitarid-r is an “As Seen on TV” low-impact exercise device that claims to “get your body moving again.” The device also claims to be “the simple, effective way to keep your body healthy and moving,” while being easy enough for even beginners to use.

Vitarid-r is not listed with the Better Business Bureau, though it appears to be a very new product. In fact, during our research, we learned that the product’s URL was registered in November 2013, and its trademark was just published at the end of January 2014. As a result, other than the fact that the Vitarid-r customer service number is based out of New Jersey, we were unable to locate any additional information about the company, or online customer product reviews.

How Vitarid-r Works

Vitarid-r claims to provide you with “moderate, low-impact exercises at home” that can give you better circulation, improved heart health, improved balance and concentration, and better weight control. The product works similar to a stationary bike, except instead of an attached seat, the Vitarid-r allows you to sit anywhere you like—even your favorite chair.

Unlike a stationary bike though, the Vitarid-r allows you to use the pedals to work out your lower body, or you can use the attached handlebars for an upper body workout as well. The device is claimed to be easy to use, lightweight, compact, and easy to store just about anywhere. On top of this, it is fully adjustable, and even includes foot rollers that “stimulate circulation and relax your feet.”

According to the company’s website, the Vitarid-r is claimed to be as “easy as 1-2-3:”

  1. Sit in the seat and get comfortable.
  2. Adjust the height and set your resistance level.
  3. “Pedal your way to health!”

Your Vitarid-r will also include a Monitor, which attaches directly to the unit and displays ride time, reps, distance, and total calories burned.

Vitarid-r Pricing & Refund Policy

The Vitarid-r is only available directly though the manufacturer, and can be purchased for three payments of $19.99, or one single payment of $59.97.

With your order, you’ll also receive two “free” bonuses:

  • Vitarid-r Successful Aging Guidebook – A short booklet that provides “tips and ideas on how to keep healthy and vital as you age.”
  • My Pharmacy Saver Card – Claims to be accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies, and to be able to save you up to 75% on your prescriptions.

All Vitarid-r devices come with free shipping, as well as a 30-day money back guarantee. For additional details regarding the Vitarid-r refund policy, you’ll need to contact customer service at 973-287-5192.

Pros:

  • Claims to help to “get your body moving again” using low-impact exercises suitable for beginners.
  • Relatively inexpensive price.
  • 30-day money back guarantee.

Cons:

  • “As Seen on TV” product, which tend to receive lower customer satisfaction ratings than most other types of products.
  • Very new product, so there are no online customer reviews at this time.
  • No additional information available about the manufacturer.
  • No details are provided about the refund policy on the company’s website.

Bottom Line:

With essentially zero information available online about the Vitarid-r exercise machine or its manufacturer, in conjunction with its “As Seen on TV” status, we would recommend spending your hard-earned money on exercise equipment from a more established company.

    Vitarid-R

It makes me so angry when thinking about it! What a rip off, this is a piece of junk. To put it together, it was a nightmare. Not sure if it's together the right way because of the pedals slipping, the whole thing just moving around, or because you can't use it sitting on sofa/chair. This is aimed at older people, it's a disgrace. I tried for 30 seconds and been in cupboard ever since.

I want a refund but it's probably too much hassle and cost with phoning. We should all get our money back. This product is useless.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Very poor

This product is awful. Very poor quality, burned my leg on the pedals as the friction created is to that degree, (no warnings, scarred for life). Carried on using it as I thought it might get better, pedaling and the pedals snapped in half. The friction had literally melted the pedals. Please do not bay as I believe this machine is very dangerous. Oh and you have 0 to no chance of getting a refund. Would give it no stars but apparently unable to do that.

This has to be the biggest load of junk I have ever purchased. No value for money spent what so ever. It's a cheap and nasty, wobbly product. The product is a joke!

    Save yourself some heartache

Very shoddy, wobbles like no tomorrow, phoned up for refund which one has to jump through hoops from a non recognized postal address to having to wait over a month for any monies to be refunded, I wish i paid by credit card as I have no faith whatsoever of getting my money back. Apparently the returns address which I had to phone up and get the proper address is a holding bay and the machine has to go to Holland then when it is received in Holland one has to wait another 5 days for a refund to be made. amazingly this machine is retailing here at an over inflated price do not fall for the advert, the machine is very poorly constructed.
