About Yes! You Can Diet Plan

Created by Alejandro Chabán, who weighed more than 300 pounds at the age of 15, the Yes! You Can Diet Plan is claimed to be an easy, fun, affordable, and healthy diet plan with a Latin flavor that can teach you how to achieve immediate and lasting weight loss. Using a team of certified specialists, nutritionists, dietitians, medical doctors, trainers, and psychologists, Alejandro claims that the Yes! If you’ve spent much time researching other diet programs, or have tried several of them only to watch your weight eventually rebound, the unique weight loss approach used by the Yes! You Can Diet Plan can be very convincing. After all, who wouldn’t want to address all 4 key areas of their lives in order to finally lose weight and keep it off for good? But are the program’s claims realistic, and is it worth the money?

How the Yes! You Can Diet Plan Claims to Work

Overall, the Yes! You Can Diet Plan is claimed to be a comprehensive weight loss and maintenance program that was designed to help you lose 3-4 pounds per week, without having to purchase any special foods or prepackaged meals. In fact, the Yes! You Can Diet Plan is claimed to help you quickly see weight loss results in order to keep you motivated, and to be a permanent weight management solution that can transform your life.

In order to accomplish this, the Yes! You Can Diet Plan is comprised of 4 main components:

  1. Nutrition – Teaches you what to eat, portion control, and when to eat it using a “traffic light guide:” Green foods can be eaten as often as you like, yellow foods should be consumed with less frequency, and red foods should be avoided.
  2. Emotional Health – Learn to love and understand yourself by embracing who your are and bringing your “inner sexy” outward.
  3. Movement – Since you can only burn calories by moving, you’ll learn how to increase the effectiveness of exercise using fun, quick, and easy tips.
  4. Supplements – A variety of nutritional supplements that are claimed to help support and speed up your weight loss.

According to the program’s website, the Yes! You Can Diet Plan can work for all men and women, regardless of age, weight, or medical condition.

Can the Yes! You Can Diet Plan Really Help You Lose Weight & Keep it Off?

When it comes down to it, can you expect the Yes! You Can Diet Plan to help you lose weight? And if so, will it provide you with the tools you need to keep it off for good? Maybe, but keep the following in mind:

Not a One Size Fits All Solution

First, like any other fitness or weight loss program, not everyone will experience the same (or any) results from using the Yes! You Can Diet Plan. To help you choose a program that’s right for your body’s specific makeup, as well as one that’s safe and effective, the best thing to do is speak with your physician in advance.

Customer Reviews

Despite the fact that the Yes! You Can Diet Plan has been around since 2012, there are essentially zero online customer reviews about the program outside of the program’s website. Among these, almost all are glowing, and have very few negative comments outside of high prices for the supplements. As such, you should take them with a grain of salt.

Clinical Evidence

However, we were able to locate a couple professional reviews (a very detailed one regarding the plan’s kits can be found here) online, most of which referenced the fact that the Yes! You Can Diet Plan’s supplements contain unproven ingredients, with the exception of the colon cleanser, which functions like a laxative that might help you lose water weight, but not necessarily fat.

Bottom Line

All in all, it’s likely that you’ll achieve much more weight loss from the Yes! You Can Diet Plan’s diet and exercise components than you will from its supplements. As such, you may want to avoid purchasing these supplements if you decide to start the program, which might help it be more cost effective.

    Never got my product

I ordered my kit almost a month ago and still haven't received it. I understand that the problem is caused by Fedex but my issue is that Chaban has not solved the issue despite the many calls I have made to report the situation. I called Fedex and Chaban although I did not buy from fedex, I bought from Chaban, so I expect them to solve the issue.

They always promise to return the call after the investigation and only 1 person did actually called. No solution still, but at least she called me back.

I think everybody should know that Chaban does not honor their promises and their customer service is unhelpful.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I am pleased with Yes You Can Diet Plan

    • Union City, NJ,
    • Jan 16, 2016

I bought the Yes You Can several times and in 5 months I lost 45 lbs. Then, I stopped and I am planning to continue using it. The shakes are very good because they are the lowest in calories that I have researched in the market. The shakes cost a little bit less than South Beach shakes, just to give you an example. The first time, I bought all the supplements. The appetite suppressant really works. Since I do not have enough money, I buy the shakes and the appetite suppressant only. This was the first time I was successful with a diet in 5 months. The only complaint that I have is that I lost the diet book and they want to charge me $35 for another copy. I think it is too much.

    Was not impressed

I only got the fat burner pills because they were pretty much all I could afford. Those pills are HUGE! After just one day of taking the fat burner pill, I had abdominal pain and I didn't feel so great. Therefore, I stopped using them and it was a complete waste of $27. However, I've read reviews that state that the books are good and the pills and shakes are just for hype. You can make your own shakes and other pills and save a lot more money.

    Product Overview

    • San Diego, CA,
    • Apr 24, 2015

This is a highly overrated product. If you follow the recommended meal plan you may develop good eating habits. As with any meal plan, everything should be in moderation.

The plan is suitable for any age. However, it is highly over priced. The fat burner and appetite suppressant do not work. I already had nice skin so the college is a plus. The detox and colon cleanser is very mild so you do not unexpected sides affects such as loose bowels as with some other brands. Replacing meals has enough protein but it lacks fiber so you may experience constipation. What makes you feel full is mostly the water your consuming through out the day.

The customer service has very little knowledge of the product.

Orders have been filled incorrectly, they will send you return postage but no packaging materials for a return. Since shipping takes 7-10 business days it can take 20 days before your order is fixed and that could take half a month before you can get back on the program. If you are not adding moderate workout at least 3 days a week, you will see no changes.

You can purchase a bottle of any protein powder at any nutritional store for $30-40 and replace two meals a day and do meal prepping on your own saving tons of money. I've had the worst customer service experience by such a highly rated program. While it's endorsed by many of the Univision celebrities, don't be fooled by the hype.

Desperate to lose weight, trying it all

    • New York, NY,
    • Jan 27, 2015

I used this for a month, followed all steps an achieved NOTHING! As you stated, it's not a diet that fits all. There were many cons to this diet, and here are some points to add to the list:

It’s a hassle to drink 4 different types of pills, you begin to feel like a walking medicine cabinet.

I had many breakouts on my face, and I don’t suffer from acne.

IT DOES NOT help with appetite suppression at all.

The shakes have a funky smell, and leave you with bad breath.

They recommend for you to take two shakes a day, yet the diet only comes with enough for 1 a day for 30 days, or 2 a day for 15 days.

It is a really high priced diet, and I didn't achieve any results, about $150 dollars a month. (This was before he introduced his now almost $300 plan.)

Save your money & save your body and feelings from yet another let down.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
