About ZoneCore Super Cleanse

ZoneCore Super Cleanse is a detox supplement that’s claimed to flush pounds from your body, facilitate healthy digestion, and improve nutrient absorption, leading to naturally increased energy, boosted metabolism, and enhanced weight management.

In order to help you detox, ZoneCore Super Cleanse can be used over 2 steps:

  1. Take 1 capsule of ZoneCore before your first meal.
  2. Take a second capsule before dinner.

According to the manufacturer, ZoneCore features an 1,800mg proprietary formulation of 100% natural ingredients, without the use of any artificial flavors or preservatives, including:

  • Aloe vera
  • Ginger
  • Licorice root
  • Cascara sagrada
  • Fennel seed
  • Pumpkin seed
  • Goldenseal

When it comes to nutritional supplements, it’s often the case that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But does ZoneCore Super Cleanse break the trend, or is it just another overpriced scam? Consider the following:

Will ZoneCore’s Ingredients Detoxify Your Body?

At its most basic, aloe vera and cascara sagrada can act as laxatives for constipated individuals. However, there is insufficient clinical evidence showing that ginger, licorice root, fennel, pumpkin seed, or goldenseal can provide any of the benefits claimed by ZoneCore’s manufacturer.

Ultimately, this means that ZoneCore only cleanses by (not to be vulgar) making you poop.

But will this provide you with any of the benefits claimed by the supplement? And do you even need to detox in the first place? Let’s take a look.

Does Your Body Even Need Cleansing?

If you scroll through the ZoneCore Super Cleanse website, you might be alarmed when you read, “It’s NOT uncommon for people to carry as much as thirty pounds of toxic waste in their colon. In fact, some bowels, when autopsied, weighed up to 40 pounds with the diameter of 12in (30cms) with only a narrow passage through which feces could be eliminated.”

However, the truth is that this is simply a scare tactic used by many of these online-only detox supplements. Why? WebMD sums it up nicely:

If your goal is weight loss, a detox diet might help you drop a few pounds, but you’ll likely just gain it back. In the end, you haven’t accomplished anything, and it’s certainly not a healthy approach.

If your goal is to detox your system, don’t waste your time or money. Your body is an expert at getting rid of toxins no matter what you eat. Toxins don’t build up in your liverkidneys, or any other part of your body, and you’re not going to get rid of them with the latest detox wonder. Especially avoid diets that promise to detox your liver with supplements or “cleanse” whatever the diet determines needs washing out.

ZoneCore Super Cleanse Side Effects

For the most part, ZoneCore Super Cleanse’s ingredients should be well tolerated by the majority of individuals. However, common side effects include stomach pains and cramps, and general stomach discomfort.

Also, it’s important to note that laxatives such as aloe and cascara shouldn’t be taken for more than a few days at a time.

Detox Supplements Aplenty

Despite the fact that most of their ingredients don’t do anything other than relieve constipation, and that your body doesn’t need cleansing in the first place, there are a wide variety of other detox supplements available, including Total Cleanse Plus, ProLean Cleanse, and Cleanse EFX.

In fact, if you compare these websites with ZoneCore’s, you’ll notice that they’re basically identical, from design and text, all the way down to their formulations. In our opinion, this either means they’re all using the same website template, or they’re related (although they appear to be based out of different states).

How ZoneCore Super Cleanse Convinces You to Buy

In our experience, because detox supplement manufacturers know they won’t convince you to buy through evidence, their sites are designed to convince you through emotion.

This includes featuring a picture of an attractive model in the upper left-hand corner of the screen (where your eyes are naturally drawn), which makes you think, “Hey, I want to look like that!”

Then, you learn that ZoneCore Super Cleanse can possibly help you “flush pounds and detoxify your body,” along with numerous other benefits.

However, you soon find out that there’s a limited supply, but that you can still get your hands on the supplement through the company’s “free” trial (more about this in a moment).

However, the reality is that ZoneCore is almost certainly not as popular as the manufacturer might have you believe, nor will it help you look like the model on their website. Instead, they’re simply trying to tug at your emotions instead of your brain.

Customer Feedback for ZoneCore Super Cleanse

ZoneCore is marketed solely through independent affiliates who earn commissions from each sale of the supplement they refer. In turn, these affiliates will often create fake review websites (see here and here as examples) that are intended to look legitimate, but are actually just more hype from the company.

However, based on HighYa reader reviews for the products mentioned above, the average rating was just 1 star, with common complaints citing difficulty cancelling trials, failure to work as advertised, and poor customer service.

Granted, you may not experience the same with ZoneCore Super Cleanse, but in our opinion, it’s very likely.

ZoneCore Pricing & Refund Policy

ZoneCore Super Cleanse is only available through a 14-day trial for $6.95 S&H, for which you’ll receive a 30-day supply of the supplement.

Then, after your trial expires, you’ll be billed $79.71 for the bottle you already received, and will also be enrolled in the company’s autoship program. This means you’ll continue receiving a 30-day supply of ZoneCore once per month, and your credit card will be billed $79.71 each time.

Important note: We’ve reviewed a lot of weight loss supplements here at HighYa, and during this time, we’ve learned that “free” trials are often just a sneaky method of getting ahold of your credit card and ensuring you’ll pay full price, regardless of what you do. Then, autoship programs are often intended to keep the product coming, even though you might not have really wanted it in the first place. As such, we generally recommend staying away from these types of products.

Outside of the trial, ZoneCore Super Cleanse comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H charges and a $9.95 restocking fee. In order to request a refund, or cancel your trial or autoship program, you’ll need to contact customer service at 888-510-5313 for a RMA.

Should You Spend Your Money On ZoneCore Super Cleanse?

Chopping to the point: Considering ZoneCore Super Cleanse’s ineffective “cleansing” ingredients, the fact that your body doesn’t need cleansing in the first place, the product’s similarity to other detox supplements, as well as the manufacturer’s less-than-stellar marketing tactics, it’s our opinion that ZoneCore is a scam.

    Scam

    • Shreveport, LA,
    • Sep 5, 2015

My fault since I fell for it, but they charged my card $79.91 four months after ordering the stuff. I haven't even received another bottle, which I'm glad. The people I talked to at customer service were very rude and unhelpful. I had to cancel my debit card so they wouldn't do it again. They even admitted to trying to charge my card five times! That's insane. Do not order this crap. My advice, find it in store somewhere and don't be like me and fall for this (just pay shipping and handling) mess. Otherwise, four months later you'll have an unknown charge for almost 80 bucks and you'll be upset.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam - Do not do the Trial

    • Aug 23, 2015

The product didn't work and even if you cancel your membership in the time frame you will still be charged $89.95 even after they received their empty bottle back.
