About Zymbiotix

In today’s fast-paced world, we’re all guilty of not taking care of our bodies as well as we should, and Zymbiotix claims to help balance some of these negative effects by using Regularis™. This tri-blend probiotic is claimed to help promote digestive and immune system health, to increase energy, to cleanse your body of harmful organisms, and more.

But is there any truth to these claims? Why or why not? Let’s take a detailed look.

Quick Facts About Zymbiotix

Just like Florastor, Whole Body Keybiotics, and ProbioSlim, East Provo, UT-based Zymbiotix is a probiotic nutritional supplement that claims to promote healthy digestive and immune systems, to “flush pounds” away, and to detoxify your body. In fact, the manufacturer even goes so far as to claim that Zymbiotix is “America's #1 weight loss probiotic supplement for digestive cleansing.”

However, unlike many other digestive supplements, Zymbiotix contains Regularis™, a patented blend of three different strains of beneficial probiotic bacteria. As such, it claims to flatten your tummy, help you regain energy, relieve gassiness and bloating, help you feel lighter, and more. In addition, the supplement is claimed to cleanse your system of unhealthy fat cells related to poor diet, and can even help treat skin conditions such as eczema, and digestive issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Zymbiotix is claimed to be manufactured in the U.S., and to include all-natural ingredients such as:

  • Vitamin B1 7.8mg
  • Vitamin B2 7mg
  • Vitamin B6 8.3mg
  • Vitamin B12 7.5mcg
  • Regularis™ 405mg
    • Lactobacillus Acidophilus
    • Bifido Bacterium
    • Amalyse, Cellulase, Lipase, and Protease enzyme blend
    • Ginger root
    • Parsley Leaf
    • Peppermint Leaf

According to the product’s FAQ section, you should take 1 capsule daily, although the company’s website shows that a 60-capsule bottle is equivalent to a 30-day supply. With this in mind, it appears that you should take 2 capsules per day. Seem more about this in the Bottom Line section.

Zymbiotix Pricing & Refund Policy

If purchased through the manufacturer, Zymbiotix is available in three purchasing options:

  1. 30-day supply: $38.98, plus $3.99 shipping and handling.
  2. Buy 2, Get 1 Free: $69.98, plus free shipping.
  3. Buy 3, Get 2 Free: $95.97, plus free shipping.

Zymbiotix comes with a 30-day refund policy, though you’ll need to contact customer service at (888) 664-5351 in order to initiate the process.

If you’d rather not purchase through the manufacturer, Zymbiotix is also available through Amazon.com.

What Do Other Consumers Have to Say About Zymbiotix?

Zymbiotix holds an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau, with nearly 30 closed complaints over the past three years. The majority of these complaints appear to be related to the company’s trial offer and autoship program.

Outside of the BBB, online customer reviews appear to be mixed, with the most common complaints citing failure to work, dissatisfaction with the autoship program, and customer service difficulties. However, it should be noted that we couldn’t find anything on the Zymbiotix site indicating that you’ll be signed up for an autoship program after placing your order.

What’s the Bottom Line About Zymbiotix?

If you’re looking for a quality probiotic to help balance your digestive system, you may want to choose something other than Zymbiotix. Here’s why:

First, it’s important to note that all of the clinical studies cited on the Zymbiotix website reference probiotics as a whole, not Zymbiotix specifically. In addition, although the supplement features Regularis™ as one of its primary ingredients, we weren’t able to locate any additional information about this ingredient, either on the Zymbiotix website or elsewhere online.

Second, there is some cause for confusion on the Zymbiotix website. As we mentioned above, the FAQ section of the site claims you should take 1 capsule per day, while another section of the site claims that 60 pills is equivalent to a 30-day supply. In addition, the company’s Terms & Conditions claims there is a refund policy in place, but does not explicitly state the timeframe. In order to clear things up, we contacted the company directly and found out the following:

  • You should take 2 capsules of Zymbiotix per day – one in the morning, and another in the evening. This should be corrected on their website.
  • The refund policy is for 30 days. Note: the customer service rep we spoke with claimed a 12-day trial is available as well, though we did not find any indication of this on the product’s website.

Next, the company behind Zymbiotix has registered numerous URLs (e.g. zymbiotixreview.com, zymbiotixcleansefacts.com, zymbiotixcleansereviews.com, etc.), which may lead some consumers to believe they’re reading a third-party site, when in fact it’s just another marketing avenue for the manufacturer. While there isn’t anything necessarily wrong with this tactic, we’ve often found it to be the case that only less-than-reputable companies use it.

Finally, there are limited online customer reviews regarding Zymbiotix, and those that are available appear to be mixed.

With all of this in mind, is Zymbiotix worth the high price? It’s difficult to say, but based on what little information we have, as well as our extensive experience reviewing Nutritional Supplements, we would vote “no.”

    Do not buy Zymbiotix

    • New York,

False advertisement, be careful with their so called trial period. There is not enough time to test it out. They get you for that. Do not buy it.

Exploded and Price that was bloated

    • Atlanta,
    • Jul 9, 2015

I started a regular work out and a major change in my eating habits with 2 months down and not a whole lot of weight loss going on. Then I heard the ad on the radio of Zymbiotix. I thought what the heck let's see if I get results or I'll just return it before the two weeks are up. The rating I give this product should be enough but here we go…

Let's start with the biggest problem. They say it "GENTLY" removes undigested fat and such. Well if running to the bathroom and having exploding diarrhea is gentle I'd hate to see what they mean by rough.

After a week of that I decided I had enough so I gave them a call to cancel. Before I did my wife tells me they've already charged me the full amount. This surprised me since I'd only had it for a week. Well it doesn't matter when you got it just when you ordered. So I call and tell them I'd only had it a week and the results so far... they tell me the two weeks were up and can't do anything for me. When I got a bit upset they say they can give me 15% back. When I say I want my money back they say ok how about 35% and I was like how about we jump to 100% and stop wasting my time. Finally they gave me a max of 75% back and told me to keep the bottle. Yeah great if I ever can't go I know what to take. To top it all off the price I paid on the "great radio deal" was double the price of the website.

So in the end they got me for half the money anyone ordering on the website would pay and I had less time to try the product. Not that the results would have been any different. Oh and on top of that they still state to take one a day and only gave me 45 pills.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    A big scam

    • Tempe AZ,

Don't waste you money or time on this stuff. When you cancel your order they will not take your call when you call back to inquire about a refund. This is a big rip off!
