My negative experiences with this site echo the other reviews on here. I just recently quit AnastasiaDate as of about March of 2018, as well as their sister site AsianDate. I would like to report that their fee structure for using the site(s) has changed since this article was written. You now only have four credit purchase selections of $20, $80, $160 and I believe the highest is $500. I do not recall the prices for each level but I believe that is about the same for each credit level.

What they have done, which I feel is a rip-off, is now they have implemented a membership fee of $15.99 per month just to have the privilege of purchasing credits. There are a few perks with this membership, but almost all were useless to me. If your membership did expire, you could still use your credits you purchased, but could not see how many credits you had left. They also rip you off by charging six credits per minute for cam-share.

Due to some great financial downturns since 2010, I considered myself as being fairly poor, so I was very cautious in making purchases and using the credits. I had some similar negative experiences on both sites, and only had one good experience with one lady on AnastasiaDate.

Her name was Tatyana and she was a farm girl from Moldova. Unlike many other ladies, she seemed very real in our conversations. I sent her long letters and she seemed to reply to most of what I told her about, but with very short letters (even though I asked her to send a long letter back). This is one of the red flags I have about this site. She did, however, send real pictures of herself doing something, or of her and a member of her family. If these photos were fake and staged for this site, they were believable. Anyway, after several letters back and forth, I asked her to leave this site and contact me personally. She refused on the grounds that she did not believe we could continue the conversation as she did not speak or read English very well, even though she listed her English skills as intermediate. Red flag number two. I even told her that I could use a free translation site and send her letters in both English and translated for her to read. So my final message to her was if she did not want to leave this site and join me, then it was goodbye.

I left the site shortly after that.

I would also mention that they have ways of charging you credits even though you never meant to spend them if you click on the wrong thing. Sometimes I would click on the chat pictures to view the ladies profile and end up being charged for a chat, even though I never did chat with her. This is another rip-off. I complained about it and got some of my credits restored, but not all of them.

The only thing good I can say about this site is their profile structure. Most of the time, all the information that I am looking for about each lady, is on their profile and it is easy to use. This site has other sister sites like AmoLatina and ArabianDate along with maybe a couple of others, that have changed their structure and are much more unfavorable to use, as you would have to waste credits to find the information you need to make decisions.

I had been inscribed in AnastasiaDate for quite some time and thought that I would be lucky enough to find a woman to love and create a family with her. Unfortunately, the site's a complete scam.

Apart from thousands of dollars I spent on communicating with women (if it was really women I communicated with), I had sent my real email address together with flowers to several women. Of course, paid services.

Several asked for money. They pretended to be sick, have computer problems...

Some of them did not even write.

Some of them wrote one or two letters and never again.

There are even hookers on the site. Two from Kiev told me that I could do them for free the first time, but that I'd have to pay after.

On some video conversation, I was sure that it was a prerecorded video since the same movements of the lady started the same way over and over again.

In the end, I wasted a lot of money for nothing.

They changed the way you can view a lady. You used to be able to click on the lady to view her profile before you pay to read her letter, so if for some reason you don't like her profile or things about her, you can just pass on her (for instance she smokes, she has 3 kids, she's not from the country you thought). You just don't know. Or if you open a letter from a lady you like you better write down her ID number or you will never find it again; it just disappears. It just seems with all that money they're making they could change there website. Unless these are not real people, just people sitting behind a computer making money for the company, unless they change it. That's what it feels like. Bring back the desktop versions for letters too. Thanks.

I have joined AnastasiaDate dating site over 3 years, and I just came back from Ukraine two days ago, I was chatting a lady called Irina for over 6 months, and I decided to meet this lady. Before I went to Ukraine, we had discussed so many things, and this lady was agreeing on everything with me. She supposed to show up at the airport to pick me up, but when I arrived, she asked me to go to the hotel on my own. After I have settled down at the hotel, she sent me a message saying that she wanted to meet me but would bring an interpreter (her agent), but we had discussed and agreed about not hiring an interpreter, but everything was changed. If I did not agree to let the interpreter come, then the interpreter was not allowing the lady to come to meet me. The interpreter controls her. Finally we meet on the third day, the interpreter took us to a very expensive restaurant for lunch. After lunch, I went back to the hotel, the agent sent me an email saying that the lady wanted to meet me again for dinner. I said to the agent that I could pay her US$30 per hour for translation for two hours if they left the lady and me alone, but the agent did not agree, because she was afraid we exchanged contact information. Also, she could not get the commission from the restaurant, so we did not meet the second time.

Finally, I figured out what happened, the agent owns several ladies, and she chatted for those ladies in the day time, because she could get money from AnastasiaDate. So sometimes you were confused about why the lady did not know what you were saying. By the way, the agent knows every single word in the conversation between you and the lady.

I do not expect a dating site like this, create the opportunity to make money.

They use pictures for models from online accounts and add them as people for dating, none of them are real.

If you look closely to most of them, they have the same background photo shoot. They are using my wife's pictures as a single woman looking for a partner.

As a registered user of AnastasiaDate who has NEVER taken advantage of their services and never will, I've concluded that unless you view AnastasiaDate and similar sites as mere eye candy stores, you are in for a world of hurt. Other than wasted time, it doesn't cost you anything to look. But when you start taking advantage of what they allegedly/supposedly have to offer, it could potentially cost you everything.

You deplete credits in an instant, especially if you use CamShare. There are less expensive services, like Seek4Her.com if you are after Russian women. They also have this high caliber of women, classy and very beautiful ladies, but the prices are considerably lower there. Also, I'm convinced that not all women profiles on AnastasiaDate are real and willing to marry, since they often refuse to use alternative (free) messengers, even when they know you really long enough to trust you 100%. It makes me query their intentions and reasons for being on a dating site.

I think you guys are doing a fantastic job helping people meet Ukrainian or Russian girls. For years I felt alone and If it weren't forAnastasiadate.com, we would not have found this love and friendship we have with Tanya. We both are very grateful for the service you provided us and making it possible for two lonely hearts in the world to meet and discover their soul mate. I am now engaged to be married.

Two people that I knew are on there. And they are active. Yet they are my friends and I wrote them. One is married happily in Germany with her husband. One hasn't been on the site in 3 years she said.

What I also saw while on there: I got the same exact letter from 2 different woman. I'm not kidding. These woman do not look at your profile, yet they express love and such towards you. This is going to get you. Each letter is perfect with love and such, happiness and more. From the 18-year-old that knows how to take care of a man, the old woman. Every letter perfect. You will spend a ton of money here. Ohhhh, the pictures... everyone is in glamour shots. Do you think that is real?

If you want to exchange information with the girl, she will tell you that she wants to talk only on the dating site. Really? 100 credits for a 10-minute phone call, minimum. Which I said, the girls will say they prefer to talk on site only. Prices are outrageous to purchase credits. 10 credits to open or send a letter. 1 credit for chatting, but it takes so long to respond, you wasted 5 credits. Video chat on her side, 6 credits. Get this though...I was watching her and the video changed. I wasn't watching the girl at that moment, but a video of her.

Those who said that they had a great time on here, they are outright liars. If you have a date in her country, 99 out of 100 will not show up. You may even got her address where she lives, but guess what? She doesn't live there.

These sites are so fake. If you are chatting with a girl, sometimes, you get an answer that is, well, not even of the subject. They will say that they want a serious meeting. They don't show, like I said.

To sum it up, fake accounts, fake people, fake letters, no real meetings, fake videos in video chats. This is exactly what I have encountered. For those that say, why didn't you report? I did report. Their response was, "Do you have proof to share?" You need to run and if I saved you money, this was worth responding to. RUN.

Definitely would recommend this site. There are many options for finding what are you looking for. Girls there are some of the most beautiful women I have seen on any dating site. I don't think it's a scam. My good friend told me about it after he tried a few others dating sites. I just registered and didn't have any problems with that. I hope things will turn out ok for me.
