About Aquallure

By HighYa Staff

It’s admittedly tough to watch your face grow older, so by including a blend of antioxidants, moisturizers and peptides, Aquallure claims to help reduce the appearance of your fine lines and wrinkles. Once this occurs, Aquallure’s potent antioxidant rejuvenation cream is claimed to help you look and feel your very best.

However, Aquallure comes at a fairly high price, so you’ll want to know if it really works as well as it claims, and if it provides a good value for your money. With this in mind, we applied a liberal helping of facts to these claims, and here’s what we learned.

How Aquallure Works

As a self-described “instant facelift and a miracle moisturizer,” Aquallure claims to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, deep wrinkles, age spots, and cracked skin, leaving you with glowing and looking younger skin. To accomplish this, Aquallure claims to use a blend of peptides and anti-oxidants that you won’t find in any other product, including:

  • Hyaluronic Acid – May help strengthen skin, cartilage, and blood vessels, while also providing deep moisturization.
  • Beta Glucan – Extracted from Portobello mushrooms, this ingredient may help reduce the appearance of lines, and to prevent them from reappearing.
  • Palmitoyl Pentapeptide – May help stimulate collagen and elastin production to boost your skin’s elasticity.
  • A-Lipoic Acid – An antioxidant that may help prevent free radical damage.
  • Palmitoyl OligopeptideA peptide that may stimulate collagen and hyaluronic acid production.
  • Saccharide IsomerateMay help naturally hydrate your skin, especially if you live in a low-humidity climate.
  • Tocopheryl AcetateA form of Vitamin E that conditions and protects skin from free radicals.
  • Mango ButterMay help hydrate skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
  • Cocoa ButterMoisturizes and soothes skin, in addition to providing antioxidants.

In fact, Aquallure is claimed to provide you with the following injection-free, clinically proven benefits:

  • 500% increased skin hydration in one week
  • 60% decrease in fine lines and wrinkles in four weeks
  • 100% firmer skin in one week
  • 100% of women noticed significant results.

Aquallure is manufactured in the USA, and is claimed to be safe and proven to work on all skin types. The product’s website also claims that you’ll experience instant hydration after just 15 minutes, and full results after 3-4 weeks of regular use.

Aquallure Pricing & Refund Policy

Aquallure is available only through the manufacturer in three purchasing options:

  • 1-Month Supply: $69.95
  • 3-Month Supply: $139.90
  • 5-Month Supply: $209.85

Whichever option you choose, UPS Ground shipping will cost $7.95, although there are faster options available for an additional charge.

Aquallure comes with 30-day satisfaction guarantee, less shipping and handling charges, although this only applies to one opened bottle (e.g. any additional bottles you purchased will need to remain unopened). In order to begin the process, you’ll need to contact customer service at 800-917-5510 to obtain a RMA number.

What’s the Bottom Line About Aquallure?

First, when compared to similar products such as Revivasol and Rejuval Skin, the Aquallure website does a good job of listing ingredients and explaining what each of them do. However, like these other sites, Aquallure makes a lot of big claims, including that it’s clinically proven to work, without providing any evidence to back them up. On top of this, keep in mind that the “clinical” results promoted on the Aquallure website appear to be a self-survey questionnaire, and nothing more.

Second, the primary ingredient in Aquallure is hyaluronic acid, which is something that’s contained in nearly every other beauty cream on the market. As such, despite the company’s claim otherwise, Aquallure doesn’t really appear to be much different than the competition. Also, keep in mind that according to WebMD, hyaluronic acid has not been conclusively shown to help prevent the signs of aging.

Next, with the exception of bloggers who were provided a trial of Aquallure in exchange for a review, in addition to numerous affiliate websites, there are almost no legitimate online customer reviews for the beauty cream. As such, there is no information available about efficacy and potential side effects. The company is also not listed with the Better Business Bureau, and very little information about the manufacturer is available elsewhere online.

Finally, Aquallure comes with a fairly high price; one that we’re not sure is necessarily in line with the benefits you can expect to receive.

Bottom line: Between a lack of clinical evidence supporting their claims, no online customer reviews, and a relatively high price, you may want to choose a more established beauty cream than Aquallure in order to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I ordered the product and it did nothing. When I called to complain and stop further shipments, I was told I had to send back products in original container to stop them from sending me a monthly shipment. I sent back product in original container and original shipping container. I asked for refund tracked product via UPS to Aquallure. I received no refund and they claim they never got the product back.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Not worth it

I am in my mid 30's and have used Aquallure for 6 months. It is a great moisturizer but I have seen no difference in my fine lines. In my opinion, it is not worth the $40 I pay a month for it. In addition to this, it is difficult to contact the company when you need to.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
