    Do not buy!

This is a trick for your money. DO NOT have anything to do with this company. They say it is $4.95 shipping for a teeny tiny bottle of moisturizer and then charge a miraculous $98.11 to your credit card. This is a miraculous scam for money. When you call to complain, customer service says they cannot return your money because I did not call sooner. Then tries to sell me more crap.

    Stay away from this company.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Very disappointing

This is a rip-off. Make sure you read everything before you do it. They charge you $4.95 for shipping & handling and before you know it your credit card is charged 200 dollars and it doesn't work! Very disappointing.

This company is misleading and set up to steal from you. Their ad is deceptive, and their customer service department is aggravating. I'm reporting them to any agency that will listen.

I want a refund! No stars.

My face broke out with big cystic looking acne, and I only used it twice! It was a HUGE waste of money, even if it was only $4.98 shipping and handling, and $1.98 to "guarantee that it gets to the right address!" THEN I was changed $98.11 without knowing that I needed to cancel it within 14 days. I was told I cannot receive a refund for the $98.11.

It was a hard lesson learned, and I will never order ANYTHING from THIS company ever again! It is not a "good deal." There is nothing "good" about this company AT ALL. Hope said she could not do anything to remedy this situation. Stay away from Aviqua skincare.

    Taken

The first representative I spoke to told me to send back the unused portion to cancel, or I could opt to pay $9? I sent back the unused portion, was canceled, received a cancellation notice, and two days later was charged for a new auto ship.

When I called to complain I was told all I could get back was 50% of what I had been charged. This is clearly a scam operation.

    Don't do it

I ordered the "sample," and the next weekend the bank canceled our debit cards due to suspicious merchant activity. It's been quite an inconvenience to be without a card. This product isn't what it claims.

I don't remember reading any fine print indicating that I would be charged a monthly fee. I would've left my order number, but I've already deleted it. I know it was tricky at checkout and I was charged for another product I had to cancel. I wish I didn't have to give it any stars.

    Aviqua and Intensive Eye Serum

    • Seattle, WA,
    • Feb 11, 2017
    • Verified Reviewer

First off, the only reason that I even thought this might NOT be a scam is because Lori Grenier from SharkTank endorsed this product.

When I gave my information for the "free trial offer," I didn't see a problem with saying $4.98 for shipping and handling, which seemed reasonable. Then I get a pop-up for the Eye Serum and had no way to say "no thank you," and now I'm being charged for its shipping and handling as well for $4.99.

I received the box, and lo and behold, BOTH products are in the SAME box, so I paid $10 for shipping and handling that really probably only cost $2.50.

Okay moving on. I called within my 14-day "trial period" and told them that I wanted to cancel the subscription. The operator came back and said he could give me a 14-day extension on the trial period and 50% off of all the products. I said, "no thank you, please cancel."

He wanted to charge me a "restocking fee" for sending it back, but it had to be unopened. How can you have a trial period and touch and feel the product without opening the packaging? Fine, he said, he could charge me $9.95 as a retention fee for each product so I can keep it without any further issues or charges. Ugh! I just want to cancel the subscription and send the product back. He said he can't do that and he'll have to charge me a restocking fee.

All the while, he kept telling me I hadn't read the terms and conditions. Oh yeah, I did! It indicated in there that I could do just that. I informed him to charge me for the $9.95 for the two products and be done with it. I'll take this to my attorney and let them handle it. Nowhere does it tell you up front that this is a subscription service! It's not worth the headache and cost of $98.11 a month for this stuff.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Bad scam

There is a sucker born every minute, and I hate that feeling. I don't think we are all stupid who have reviewed this product but just "ditto" to every other bad review.

I'm not sure where all this "fine'"print was that I was supposed to read. But a 14-day free trial should mean I actually have the product for 14 days to try (even if it was the best product in the world), not 14 days from the date of the order. I should have recorded the customer service guy's reasoning for this because it was almost comical how he tried to explain it. I had earlier talked to someone else to cancel any further orders after I woke up to see that they had charged my credit card already.

Hopefully, it's done (and lesson learned). I wish I'd done more due diligence, like read these review. I'm really afraid I'm going to have to cancel my credit card.

    Scam

    • Pennsylvania,
    • Feb 7, 2017

I have to agree with the others that this is nothing but a scam.

I got what I thought was a free trial for a $4.98 shipping fee, not realizing I would be charged $98.11 every month for another tiny container of this stuff. I called and got everything canceled, only to find out that just the day before I called, they billed me yet again for $98.11.

It would be different if the stuff does what it claims. All it does is make my face red. It doesn't even moisturize, but rather makes my face feel really dry. After I got off the phone with these people, I cried for being such an idiot and falling for this scam.

Do NOT bite! Learn from my unfortunate lesson. If the product was really that good, they wouldn't hide their pricing the way they do.

If you value your time, run from this company

Their small print says that if you don't call them after 14 days of receipt that they will charge you nearly $100 for the product that in the large print they say they are sending you a free trial of. So you think you get to try their product for just the cost of shipping and they do a major bait in switch.

After calling them and screaming at them, I was able to get a $118.21 credit back to me of the $177.67 that they scammed from me and kept the product that I don't like. If I had sent it back for a refund, it would have been a smaller refund. I hate companies like this.

    Grrrrrr Aviqua

    • North Dakota,
    • Jan 21, 2017

I paid the $4.95 for that little bottle, with hardly anything in it too. I didn't know about the 14-day trial period, and they took $98.11 out of my account!

I called them, and this woman scolded me for not reading the fine print. I filed a dispute and lost. I called them again, and once again, I was scolded for not reading the terms. I said, "there wasn't even a note with the product with these terms in the box, exactly how was it supposed to know?"

The product made my face break out in hives. It's awful. I told them this, but they don't care. Worst customer service ever and the product is nothing but garbage. Do not order, they'll just steal your money!
