We have a 2-year-old Pyrenees mix (100lbs). She was adopted and untrained. I've spent 12 solid days with her - and it never worked...not once! It had no, zero, nada effect on her...while she continued to bark at everything. Completely ineffective. She doesn't even acknowledge it. This device is nothing more than a flashlight.

Might work on a domestic rat, but not a big dog!

Tried this device on several dogs and it had no effect. The advertising leads you to believe it will stop any dog barking, it doesn't. It is a cheap piece of plastic made in China with a couple of useless lights in it. Be careful if you order as there is a tab that is well-positioned for you to accidentally hit and end up with a pair of nail expensive clippers. Ended up paying AUS $71.00. Should have used a rolled-up newspaper on my hand, works better.

My first Buddy only lasted 3 weeks. I ordered a second one and it has done the same thing. I would not recommend this product. At first, my dog responded, then within the 3-week period she failed to recognize the alert and continued to bark. Funny thing, my husband can pick up the alert through his hearing aide.

Placed an order through the Australian website on the 3rd of June 2020. Did not receive a confirmation email but not sure if the email address was on order as auto-filled my info. Tried to email the USA email address. Email immediately rejected. Tried to email Australian email, rejected a day later. Tried to email again after that and a day later again that third email rejected. Credit card debited considerably more than price however when I contacted credit card provider they suggested that the price was likely to be in USA dollars not Australian dollars. Terms and conditions on the website indicate no responsibility for the company for anything. I am now suspecting a fraudulent website and that our money has been lost.

Does not work. Two emails and one phone call for refund ignored. Cheaply made. Battery connections do not fit the battery. Never again. Unknowledgeable customer service. Under consumer law the product is supposed to do that what it is advertised to do. I would add more to satisfy your need for characters but I have said it all.

I always thought these types of devices were a joke. I have a 3-year-old Pomeranian who loves to alert me when anything is out of order, she would bark non-stop when we had visitors and telling her "NO BARK" sternly was not working. So, one evening I saw an ad for BarxBuddy and it was something like 50% off and free shipping - I thought what the heck, can't hurt to try it. I was amazed, within a week she no longer barks at people or anything else. Now all I have to do is let her see it and she won't bark. My brother-in-law was surprised at the transformation and ask for info on BarxBuddy to give to a friend. The downside, she doesn't bark now to tell me when someone is here. Love it.

So I ordered, took a while to come. No instructions in the box. Battery hard to install as connectors tucked away back to front so had to twist them around without disconnecting wires behind. Either I have a dud one or it’s useless. Doesn’t do anything. Have two dogs who bark a lot.

I ordered two by mistake. I would have kept both if the device had an effect. I returned them both after ten days but never heard from them.

I bought them to contribute to excessive barking. I used them exactly as suggested but neither of my dogs responded in any way. They did not seem to recognize any difference and continued to bark.

Most disappointing is that I lost money on two devices since one was ordered by mistake.

I returned them with a letter, by priority mail. They did not respond and my attempts to reach them by phone failed.

Gave it one star because what I ended up with in the end was an expensive LED flash light with a built-in laser cat toy, 4 stars from the cat.

I received the product within two weeks. The battery comes with it. Very easy to use model, size of a small TV remote. It has a "regular mode" and a "stronger mode" function for the more barkier stubborn dogs. The stronger setting has a laser beam and bright light to catch the attention of the dog, the normal setting is just a silent it has no lights but a dog definitely reacts to it.

My Yorkie/Chihuahua runs out the door full speed ahead, barking like a nutbar letting the whole neighborhood know we’re out there. She’s so involved in her barking that breaking her attention is impossible. Enter BarxBuddy! It's been easier to train her now using this product as an added feature during her most stubborn moments. I’m very much against animal cruelty and use this device only when extra reinforcement is required.

I’d recommend this for anybody! I’ve been through 3 expensive bark collars that malfunction or die after so many months.

BarxBuddy has no sound for the humans, but definitely the dog.
