About Beverly Hills MD Vein Away Correcting Cream

By HighYa Research Team
Published on: Dec 23, 2015

Beverly Hills MD Vein Away Correcting Cream is a fast-absorbing, non-greasy serum that can “significantly” reduce the appearance of varicose and spider veins. All you have to do is apply it once a day and the serum will get to work.

Vein Away Correcting Cream works so well because it takes a “revolutionary” 2-part approach to clearing up your veins:

  1. First, the active ingredients strengthen vein walls and rejuvenate your skin’s structure. Beverly Hills MD even claims Vein Away can “restore the youthful appearance of your skin”!
  2. Next, the serum’s ingredients will improve circulation, which can help relieve leg, ankle, and foot tiredness and soreness.

Because Vein Away is formulated and tested by cosmetic surgeons—who spent years researching and perfecting the serum—it will work regardless of your age. And perhaps most importantly, without having to visit your doctor or undergo painful injections or surgeries!

Varicose and spider veins are lousy. Plain and simple. They hurt, they often look unsightly, and they can even affect your self-confidence. In short, you want an easy solution, and you wanted it yesterday.

Now, the important question is: Have you found your solution with Vein Away Correcting Cream? Or, is the company preying on your need for relief and charging you an arm and a leg in the process? That’s exactly what we’ll help you answer here.

Before we get to that though, let’s build a solid foundation and learn some important facts about varicose and spider veins.

What’s the Difference Between Varicose & Spider Veins?

Whether we’re talking about varicose veins or spider veins, these common conditions (so common, in fact, that half of all Americans over the age of 50 suffer from them) occur when one or more veins stop functioning properly. Specifically, when the one-way valve inside a vein doesn’t work, which allows blood to collect inside instead of being sent toward your heart.

As a result, the vein becomes enlarged, swells to the surface, and appears twisted and bluish-purple or red in color. And really, the only difference between varicose and spider veins is their size, and to a lesser extent, where they appear.

Varicose veins are much larger, and therefore much more noticeable. They’re even so large that you might be able to feel them by running your fingers over their surface. In most instances, varicose veins appear on the legs.

In contrast, spider veins typically have the same twisted appearance as varicose veins, but are much smaller and spindlier. Spider veins are also common on the legs, but can appear on other parts of the body as well, including the face.

Despite their unsightly appearance, the good news is that these types of veins can often be successfully treated. But how?

What Causes Spider & Varicose Veins? Can They Be Treated?

There are dozens of different causes of varicose and spider veins, including:

  • Genetics – If your parents experienced spider or varicose veins (especially if they had them prior to middle age), you’ll be much more likely to have them as well.
  • Age – As we mentioned above, this is a very common condition for those 50 or older.
  • Certain Medical Conditions – This includes chronic heart valve conditions, pregnancy, menopause (or other hormonal changes), and obesity.
  • Lifestyle – If your stand or sit (especially with your legs crossed) for long periods of time, or expose your skin to excessive UV rays, this can make you more likely to develop spider and/or varicose veins.

Regardless of what’s causing these veins, there are several effective treatments available through your doctor. These include sclerotherapy (injecting a solution that causes the vein to collapse), as well as laser therapy (also known as ablation, which “uses a laser or high-frequency radio waves to create intense local heat in the vein”).

In some cases (especially with surface level varicose veins), your doctor might recommend a phlebectomy, which is “a minimally invasive procedure that uses a small scalpel or needle to remove varicose veins on the surface of the leg.”

Granted, these are all medical treatments. But can any of the ingredients in over-the-counter treatments like Vein Away Correcting Cream help?

How Effective Are Vein Away’s Ingredients?

In most of the other Beverly Hills MD products we’ve reviewed (we’ll talk more in a moment), the company provided a label and a full list of ingredients. This wasn’t the case with Vein Away Correcting Cream at the time of our research, although we were told it contains:

  • Capt System™ Es-M – This proprietary Lucas Meyer product is a formulation of glycerin, lecithin, dicaprylyl ether, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) seed extract, water, and menthol. In layman’s terms, the company claims it can improve the efficacy and stability of other ingredients it’s attached to.
  • LegActif – Manufactured by CenterChem, LegActif is a mixture of water, glycerin, Ruscus Aculeatus root extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) peel extract, and Solidago Virgaurea (Goldenrod) extract. All of these are claimed to stimulate blood circulation and reduce calf and ankle swelling.
  • Actiphyte® of Arnica – According to the manufacturer, Actiphyte is a botanical extract that adds moisturizing, toning, soothing, conditioning, and protecting properties to different personal care products. In this instance, Actiphyte is added to arnica.
  • Actiphyte® of Myrrh – Another botanical blend, this time containing myrrh.
  • Lipex 205Lipex 205 is a proprietary formulation of liquid shea butter, which adds moisturizing and emollient properties to other products.
  • Panthenol – A transparent liquid made mostly from vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), it adds emollient and moisturizing properties to other products.

Alright, those are the basics. But are these ingredients any good? Well, it all depends on how you take them.

For example, horse chestnut is listed as “possibly effective” for treating varicose veins and other circulatory problems, but only when ingested internally (versus topically, as with Vein Away). Similarly, Ruscus Aculeatus might help relieve poor leg circulation, but only when taken as a supplement instead of used as a topical cream.

Perhaps the best pick of the bunch, topical gels containing arnica have shown some promise for reducing arthritis symptoms in hands and knees, but not for easing muscular or other types of pain.

Outside of these, each of Vein Away’s other ingredients only act as skin conditioning agents; i.e. they can help moisturize your skin and, with continued use, might help it feel softer.

Given all of this, what kinds of benefits could you realistically expect to experience with Vein Away Correcting Cream? In our opinion, outside of perhaps some minor relief from joint pain, there isn’t enough evidence to show that you’ll experience any kind of benefits. And even if you did, they definitely won’t come close to what you’ll achieve with cosmetic procedures.

But doctors’ visits are expensive, right? Comparatively, how much will you spend on Vein Away Correcting Cream?

Will Vein Away’s Price Cause Your Money To Disappear?

According to the Beverly Hills MD website, Vein Away Correcting Cream is available in the following quantities:

  • 1 Jar: $49
  • 2 Jars: $86
  • 3 Jars: $120

All US orders come with free shipping. But regardless where you’re located, your purchase will also come with a 60-day refund policy, which you can request by calling 877-828-5528.

Taking Vein Away’s ingredient formulation together with its price, what are customers saying?

Is Vein Away Helping Others Find Relief?

Vein Away Correcting Cream was a brand new product at the time of our research, so there weren’t any online reviews yet.

The good news is that we’ve reviewed just about every Beverly Hills MD product out there, including popular options like their Dark Spot Corrector, Lift + Firm Sculpting Cream, Crepe Correcting Body Complex, and more. Just because they’re popular, does that mean customers are satisfied?

In short, it appears so. Overall, these products had an average rating of 4.5 stars here on HighYa, with compliments ranging from ease of use to “it really works!” Like most other beauty products though, it seems the majority of complaints revolved around failure to work, high price, and mild side effects (redness, rash, acne, etc.).

Beverly Hills MD also had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (as of 12/19/15), with just 2 closed complaints. Details weren’t available.

Will Vein Away Get Rid of Those Creepy-Crawly Spider Veins?

No, there isn’t a “cure” for spider or varicose veins, but there are some highly effective outpatient procedures that can greatly reduce their appearance, and you’ll be back to normal in no time.

Are many of these treatments expensive? Yes. But do we think they’d provide much more value for your money, compared to continuously using Vein Away month after month? Considering that none of the Correcting Cream’s ingredients have been shown to be effective as a topical cream, probably so.

Still feel like giving it a try? Beverly Hills MD is a legitimate company that appears to stand behind their products with a 60-day refund policy. So you might only be out a few bucks in S&H charges if you decide to roll the dice.

Don’t want to spend any money at all? Here are 14 lifestyle tips that you can begin using this very second!

What did you decide? Did you purchase Vein Away, and did it live up to your expectations? Tell the world about it by writing a review below!

    Slow, but amazing results!

I have had spider veins for 15 years now. Originally, I did injections that were a stretch on my budget, but they work. The veins start to close down in 1-3 months and there is definitely an improvement, but I couldn't do it often because of the expense. Then, the last time I went, a lot of my veins were too tiny for the needles, but there were still so many, that from a distance my legs looked purple and blotchy. I tried laser and waited 6 months for results and nothing! Zero improvement.

Then, a friend sent me the informercial link for the cream. I was extremely skeptical, but I tried it. I used it for about 30-45 days and then gave up and figured it was a gimmick. Six months later, I was with my mom and she looked at my leg and was amazed and asked what I was doing. I told her the only thing I had done was the cream 6 months before. I was stunned, I had about a 50% reduction in veins. The effect was very delayed, but it worked.

I still had 1 and 1/2 jars of the cream left, so I restarted it again 2 months ago and I'm really seeing the effects. I think I have 75% reduction from when I started! Everything in life is time vs. money, if you have the time, for me, I found, it was worth the money.

On another note, I wonder if the company has looked into any research studies to use these ingredients to help Ehlers Danlos patients. Just a thought.

    Disappointed! Did nothing at all!

I purchased their Vein Away product after listening to a full-length video of how much it could help my embarrassing veins. I thought it was a godsend to finally find a nonsurgical procedure to finally rid myself of the broken veins in my lower legs.

After using the product and going through two jars, it didn't do anything at all to reduce my veins or appearance. I wasted over $90.00 on another gimmick! Don't waste your money! I was taken.

Vein Away: Don't waste your money.

After 3 jars, exactly by directions, no results. Started product on Wed. July 20th, completed 3rd jar on Wed. Sept 20th. Decided to concentrate on only 2 spots, each 2 inch by 2 inch, on outer calf of leg. One on each leg. Never missed a day, am and pm as was directed. Mine are truly "spider veins," NOT large, dark,worm-like veins. 0 results. Money and time wasted. I have used at least 4 other Beverly Hills MD products, none have failed to the extent that Vein Away Correcting Creams has.

    Cream shows little improvment

I have been using Vein Away cream for two months by applying the cream both day and night) and have seen little, if any, improvement. I will continue to use the cream until it's gone but I would not recommend to this anyone who feels this will significantly decrease the look of your spider veins and more than likely will not show any improvement for varicose veins. I should have known that these products just do not work but wanted to try it anyway. May anyone who uses this have more success than me.

I have started using this product and on the fourth day, I am already seeing results. I know that everyone's body is different so I do recommend anyone to try this for themselves. I seen the other reviews and that is why I am writing this. I know how deep in color mine were and how embarrassing it is for me to have it be visible for anyone to see. I do see the results that I wanted when I bought this product and I hope that it continues as I continue to use the product. So far I am loving what it is doing for me.

I ordered Beverly Hills MD Vein Away on 4/24/16 after viewing the video presented by Dr. Layke. I was feeling encouraged that it might help problem veins. I have used it faithfully morning and night since receiving the product. I ordered three jars because it was a better deal if you ordered more. After after using one and 1/2 jars there is absolutely no change in veins. However, I must say that the skin on my legs seems more hydrated.
