Bad company to do business with

I ordered Leptiburn and was swamped with product. I had two unopened bottles and two in the packages that were sent by the company. I sent two bottles back and no refund. I called and asked why after I was sent a third bottle. I was informed they do not stop sending product unless you call and request a stop order. I asked about my refund and they said you have to request a refund and I said I am requesting one. After much back and forth they said I would get a refund minus shipping, and after three requests to stop sending me anything I was informed I must call back after each shipment arrives to get an RA number. I will not do business with this company again. They have no customer service and that makes you believe the whole company is crooked.

In reviewing your order history, it appears that when you placed our order for LeptiBURN back in March, you elected our Ship-N-Save option, which is an optional monthly subscription program provides customers with 15 percent off and free shipping. As mentioned, I have requested that this subscription be cancelled immediately.

With regard to the refunds, the details of the process can be found on the BioTRUST website. It is important that customers who are requesting a refund contact our Customer Service department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This is because returned product gets sent back to our distribution center, and the RMA number is the means by which the folks there can request that we process the refund for the appropriate customer. In other words, the RMA is a very important identification code to ensure that your refund is processed accurately and efficiently. Poor Customer Service

On 10-21-15 I started to place an order. During the process, I changed my mind and decided not to order at that time. I tried to backtrack and thought I was successful in making the order not go thru. Later that day I received a confirmation receipt for my order. I immediately tried to email a cancellation too the email address sited on the receipt. This email did not work. I went to the web to try and find another email address. No matter how I wrote it, thinking it might be case sensitive, the email listed DID NOT WORK. After wasting an hour on that, I called the phone number on the receipt and spoke to Chris in Colorado.

I explained my dilemma​ to Chris and said I just wanted TO CANCEL THE ORDER! Chris gave me a variety of reasons why this would probably be impossible at this time, tried to make me other deals, and finally ended by saying he'd email the shipping department. He assured me that he'd get back to me later that day to tell me how it ended up.

Over a day later, after NOT hearing back from Chris, I replied to the receipt email. Again I explained that I wanted to cancel the order. In under 5 minutes, I got a standard reply stating that it would be looked into and I'd be gotten back to within 24 hours.

That night, over 30 hours after speaking with Chris, I received a standard notice that my order had been shipped.

Finally, on 10-25-15, 4 days after talking to Chris, I got an email from him. By now I had had 6 other promotions emailed to me, but no answers to my question about cancellation. Chris offered to let me keep the product for 50% off or I could return it all for a full refund.

Within one more minute, I had a survey request in regards to CUSTOMER SERVICE. Needless to say, I did not respond at that time.

It is now 10-28-15. I have had 7 more emails in regards to selling me more product and/or responding to surveys. I have not received the product nor have I had what I consider a descent response from customer service. I could not be more disappointed.

If their customer service is any indication of how good the product is, I certainly would not recommend it.

Pricey but great!

I was skeptical to try Biotrust at first as I had never heard of Leptin but I really wanted to try and lose my belly fat. I exercised everyday and even had my own home gym, but while my arms and legs and butt were great I still had am obvious belly that looked like a beer belly. So I decided to Google how to lose belly fat and came across Biotrust. I was only making 200 a week back then (2013) and still in college but I managed to buy the Leptiburn bundle of 3 and decided if it didn't work with my diet and exercise plan then I would get that 1 year refund back anyway. Well then I noticed with my checkout that it asked if I wanted to do the ship and save thing and I would save an additional % off so I did that too. I also added on the IC5 and BCAA Matrix too and had all three products for three months.

I ended up losing a lot of weight and pretty much had skinny muscle tone instead of bulging muscles but it worked and I loved it. I even kept buying the IC5 and BCAA Matrix for awhile and still have some from last year but I had to cancel it due to moving issues. I did get a refund on 3 of the bottles too so they keep their promise for that. I really want to go back on Leptiburn now though since I have recently gained weight back by being on new meds and having a job that consumes my hours and eating Wendy's. I know for a fact that Biotrust works though even when you eat bad and can't exercise.

I would rather spend the money for Biotrust than half price for some knock off caffeine pill.

Biotrust doesn't affect you the way caffeine pills do or other weight loss pills. It legitimately makes you less hungry and if you do exercise and eat right you will go from flabby belly to a nice trimmed stomach in about 4-5 months.

Don't Waste your money.

I am very disappointed with this product. I read the testimonials and listened to the oh so boring 25 minute video with great hopes that this might really be valid and work. Well, like all other scams and false promises it isn't worth the money or time because it does not produce results. My husband and I both have not lost even 1/4 inch of body fat. What a bummer, we both really wanted something that would truly be valid and work.

Save your money.

This place is a scam

Don't order anything online as they don't cancel when you request. The bars are the worst tasting things I have ever tried - I threw one box away. When I tried to cancel, I got a quick response about my options for return but the order wasn't canceled. So, I now have another box I have to pay shipping for to return. I would never do business with this company again.

Awful

I immediately (within a day of starting the pills) got the shakes/jitters, shaky hands, etc., and a hard time sleeping at night. I wasn't sure at first what was happening to me, but then I realized, it was the pills. That was the only thing that was added or changed in my daily life routine. There is a definite correlation between starting the pills and the reaction. I am going to ask for my money back. I'll let you know how it goes. But please note if you do get the jitters, I truly feel this is a side effect of this product and therefore, can't be that safe. Shaking is NOT a good thing.

As well, the amount of aggressive and annoying up-sell marketing techniques, and consequent numerous emails is terrible.

Simply the Best

I am a 68 year old woman, and do everything I can to stay healthy. I am a cancer survivor, and I know how important good nutrition is. I start my day with BioTrust Low Carb every morning. I also have used Lepti Burn, and lost the ten pounds that I needed to, and have felt great the whole time. Pro 10 is so important to me, it helps keep my immune system in top shape. I still work three evenings a week. I have never found a company with better products, and the best customer service. I am so very happy that I found BioTrust, it's simply the best!

Bio Trust Low Carb

I have been searching for a protein powder without artificial sweeteners that tastes good for a very long time. After reading many positive reviews for the Bio Trust Low Carb I decided to try it. It did not taste good at all. I was very disappointed and couldn't even finish my protein shake. (I tried the vanilla cream and added blueberries and bananas.) It had a very strong taste that was not pleasing at all. I wish companies had single serve packets that you can try before you buy the big container. It was a costly mistake.

If you don't mind me asking, Paula, did you happen to let your BioTRUST Low Carb shake sit for an extended period of time after making it? I only ask because (as noted in the recommended use on the label) we suggest drinking your BioTRUST Low Carb shakes within about 10 minutes of preparation. The reasoning behind this is that the addition of liquid will allow the powerful digestive enzyme blend ProHydrolase® to begin breaking down the protein, which causes the finished beverage to become bitter over time.

Generally speaking, I have noticed this take effect after around 30 - 60 minutes, and I wonder if that might be the case in this instance also. If so, would you consider trying it again without letting it sit quite as long?

Truth be told

I have purchased several products now. My first time around I used the product I was a little interested to find out of a good product/company.

I have emailed and spoken to customer service several times. Never had a issue emails where always returned with in the 24hours as stated it would be. I also always got a solution and answer for times I called customer service. For once a company dose as they advertise.

I have had some issues applying coupons and getting promotions. But after customer service issues were resolved with about a 80% satisfaction.

The company has yet to hide anything from me like fine print stuff. Yes, they do push the products but you must remember they're a sales company who are just doing their job. They make it really easy to decline the offers which I have done and excepted. They also make the auto ship option easy to say yes or no to. You're not automatically enrolled unless you agree to be enrolled. Most companies are completely opposite of that.

All and all, I'm a returning customer a few times over. I would gladly give them a complete 100% satisfaction rating. But seriously, every company can always improve.

I haven't tried returning any products because if you give them their 90 day break in period you'll feel better and say “wow this stuff is helping”. Please don't eat trash and do nothing because no company has a magic wand in a pill yet.

Decent product, customer-unfriendly company

I like the fact that the shake is low carb and isn't too sweet. It also seems to help with cravings and the taste is decent.

The two-star rating refers to the company and how they treat their customers.

1. They constantly email "free" shake offers. The last time I tried to take advantage of the "free" shake, I was told I wasn't eligible. Fine, no harm, no foul. EXCEPT that they charged me $4.95. When I called the company, they said they had NO RECORD of the charge. My bank account begged to differ. I had to call my bank to get the charge reversed because I would not be receiving a product since the company didn't acknowledge the charge.

2. They bill early. If you have an auto ship, you will get billed at least a week earlier than your recurring subscription date.

3. The emails are ENDLESS and are basically "click bait." It doesn't matter if you unsubscribe.

4. You can't cancel the auto ship on the website. You have to CALL to cancel.

I'm sick and tired of companies who say they're all about the customer but then prove the lie by enacting customer-unfriendly policies. So what I can send back a shake after a year. Big deal. That generous return policy is meaningless when:

- You take my money and have no record of doing it.

- You bill me a week ahead of my shipment date.

- I'm constantly deleting your spam.

- I have to run the customer service gauntlet just to cancel.

I would recommend this product with a caveat; the shake is decent. Only get the auto-ship if cost is a factor and you don't mind being charged a week early. Chances are you will never have a problem, however, if a problem arises, expect a long, difficult, and annoying road to resolution.

I do want to note that given the limited information you've provided (e.g., only a first name and city of residence), I'm not able to locate your customer profile or order history. 1. With regard to the offer you mentioned, we do send customers a free sample-size container of our protein. We only ask that customers help by paying the cost of shipping and handling, which was $4.95 in this case. While we advertise free protein, we make every effort to make the shipping charge very clear (e.g., "Just pay shipping.") What disturbs me, however, is that you said that a representative from BioTrust told you there was no such record of the charge. I would very much like to look into this further. If you could please contact me at your convenience with your order number, I will absolutely do so.

2. For folks who sign up for our monthly subscription, we charge their account when the order is processed, which occurs immediately prior to the order being shipped (just like if you placed an order via Amazon).

3. This is an excellent point, Susan, and we are in the process of refining how we communicate with our customers. While many of our customers appreciate the frequent emails with money-saving coupons and valuable information (e.g., podcasts, blog articles), we are listening to our customers like yourself who are requesting fewer email communications. Expect changes to this in the very near future.

4. We are also diligently working on our online customer portal. While we try making canceling or changing your subscription easy by calling our customer service, we understand the demand for an online interface where you can make adjustments without calling. It seems like it would be a simple implementation, it turns out that it's quite a time and labor-intensive. However, it's something that we're working on at the moment and anticipate rolling out to customers soon.

Having said all that, I reiterate my apologies for any frustration that you experienced. Please know that your feedback is valuable to us, and we're working tirelessly to make improvements to meet the evolving demands of our customers. BioTrust advanced waist slimming fatty acid complex

I ordered this supply in 2014 and now cleaned out my cupboard.

I didn't finish all the meds in my order since I did not note any change in weight loss regimen even though I followed instructions. I'm not saying the claims made are not accurate, just saying product expense vs. outcome was not beneficial for me.

What worked for me was/is I ate a lot less during the day (willpower needed), ate more fruit and veggies during day when needing a snack (I know pretzels taste much better), stopped eating any red meat (no more than 3 oz every two weeks) and/or processed meats and foods, and moved my body around much more as physically possible with walking more using stairs etc.

My bottom line is, if any magic weight loss pill worked, it would be approved for such by the FDA. All these online fantastic too good to be to be true weight loss cures are simply hoping and waiting for you to buy into the miracle weight loss fantasy. Don't spend your money when you can just "Eat less, eat smart, and move more." That's the easy logical route to weight loss/control.

Did not work for me, but worked for my wife.

Hello, I purchase the BellyTrimXP and the Metabo379. I used these products for seven straight weeks and had no results, so I let the remaining of the products sit on my shelf until one day I started to mix up a drink of cinnamon, honey, apple cider vinegar and purified water. This reduced my appetite. My wife who is a Registered Dietitian noticed and decided that she wanted to drink what I drank, because she has problems losing weight herself, but will never take any pills or supplements. I also add lemon juice to the mixture. Since I have to mix both of our drinks every morning, after two weeks I started adding the BellytrimXP to hers and she has noticed that her belly has went down considerably. I am glad that I did not throw the remaining products away. I will tell her one day what I did, but it is fun just watching her lose weight without doing any extra work. I am always trying to get her to go for a walk or exercise but she always finds something else too do. Please let me know if you think that I should stop, so far she has lost twelve pounds.

While I completely understand why you would want to return your bottles of Omega Dessert for a refund, I do want to let you know that the one-year “Best Before” date on the bottle of Omega Dessert applies specifically to the sensory characteristics (e.g., taste, consistency, mouthfeel, etc.) of the product—not the product potency or overall quality. Thus, the product does not expire at that time, as there are multiple layers of protection to prevent these beneficial fatty acids from going bad.

We only use the freshest oils on the planet, which have been 5-star rated by IFOS, with one of those stars relating to a lack of rancidity. Great Products that work

I was skeptical when I first read about BioTrust products, but tried them due to the money back guarantee. I have used the protein drink, Swiss chocolate chip bar and the raisin oatmeal bars for about 2 months and have painlessly lost 20 lbs. I am 65 years old with exercise limited by arthritis, so I was very happy to find something that works. One note, however, the chocolate chip cookies are the worst I have ever tasted - horrible texture and artificial taste. Even the best company gets one mistake. I hope to return then for a refund as I could not even finish the first cookie. I have recommended this diet system to friends.

I have been using BioTrust's products for a couple of years now. I have found that 33x works for me. I have tried several others like the Metabo one and BellyTrim. Unfortunately, these have not worked for me. I am still unsure if Leptiburn is doing anything.

I have ALWAYS had SUPER customer service. Every time I've called with an issue, it has been resolved even BETTER than I imagined. I don't understand some of the people here complaining about the customer service!? If they call the number on their receipt, someone is ALWAYS available to assist. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the customer service. Good job! I just wish the weight products helped me more.

My Journey with BioTrust

I started my journey with BioTrust, I believe June, 2014. I weighed 244 lbs. I was wearing size 44 waist jeans. Now I weigh 178 lbs. wearing size 34 waist jeans.

All my weight loss is contributed to BioTrust supplements, BioTrust Bars and cookies. Plus, fresh fruit and almonds. Every day I start with a bar, fruit and almonds. For lunch I eat a BioTrust cookie with fresh red and green grapes. Then supper I eat Organic cereal, with a banana, blueberries, raspberries and black berries. Maybe once a month I will treat myself to Mexican Food. I don't drink alcohol beverages, but a lot of water. I don't drink diet soft drinks because of Aspartame. No regular drinks, due to the sugar. I use Stevia sweeter and even take a couple of packages with me since no restaurants have it on the table.

Now, every meal, which I follow all instructions, I take ic-5, LeptiBurn, BellyTrimXP, Metabo 379 and OmegaKrill5X.

This may sound boring, but it works for me and I am never ever hungry. On March 30th I am going on a cruise. Yes I plan on cheating on my diet, but I will go back to BioTrust as soon as I get home. I do plan on taking my supplements. I will be gone for 6 days, but I have never been on a cruise.

My experiences with BioTrust products and service

I hit rock-bottom when my weight climbed well over 400 lbs and my health had deteriorated to the point that I was only marginally functional. I began my journey to better health in March of 2017, and discovered BioTrust in May of that year.

I have been using several BioTrust products and taking advantage of the exceptional coaching and support ever since. I write this in March of 2018, almost a year since I started my journey, and my results have been astonishing. I have lost over 145 lbs. I am now able to sustain reasonably intense exercise for over an hour. It may not sound like much, but I can go up and down stairs without collapsing.

Is it all due to the BioTrust products? No. Of course not! I have literally worked my butt off! But the products have certainly helped immensely, and the support and encouragement from the BioTrust family has been a key part of my success. I will not deny that they are a bit overly aggressive with their marketing, but no more so really than any other primarily internet based seller.

I have needed their "traditional" customer service now twice, and both times the matter was taken care of promptly and without a hitch. Their "support" customer service (coaches, nutrition counselors, etc.) is top notch. I provide technical support for a living, so I'm not easily impressed, but these folks impress me.

BioTrust Belly Trim XP - Can they be Trusted?

Very long video marketing sales pitch, which was very convincing and the upselling is very heavy. I ended up paying over $200 for six bottles. I've been taking four pills a day for two months straight with the occasional missed or forgotten moments and I have not lost a single pound. I'm eating healthier, buying much more organic and better made food, and staying away from high fructose corn syrup (the main cause for America's obesity and that's what cancer feeds on the most). I'm walking more for exercise. I have a desk job and sit most of the day.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

You mentioned that you've been taking BellyTrim XP for two months as well as making better food choices. That's fantastic that you've made such significant strides toward improving your nutrition; great job! Although you've cited no change on the scale, I wonder if you've noticed any improvements in any other areas of your life (e.g., better feelings of wellbeing, energy levels, sleep quality, focus/concentration, etc.). I've often found that we have a tendency to beat ourselves up because we think we’re not making progress. Yet, the truth is, in almost every case, we’re making tons of progress. We just haven’t tracked it, and so we don’t realize it.

With that in mind, I wonder if you've monitored any other variables (e.g., anthropometrics, girth measurements, body fat percentage)? When looking at the wealth of research on the primary ingredients in BellyTrim XP (i.e., conjugated linoleic acid, CLA), CLA has consistently been shown to improve body composition (i.e., increase lean body mass, decrease body fat). What's interesting is that these improvements in body composition are not always followed by net changes in body mass.

In other words, if one is only using the scale to measure objective outcomes, s/he may be missing out on progress. In the overall scheme of things, while most folks have their eyes set on the scale (i.e., body weight, net body mass), what seems to be far more important than scale weight is body composition (i.e., percentage body fat). However, if one is only using the scale (and not assessing body fat percentage and/or taking girth measurements), then fat loss and muscle gain cannot be accurately tracked. It's completely possible for someone to be "normal" weight and overfat (which has very serious implications for health risks). Likewise, it's possible for someone to be "fat and fit." In other words, it's possible for someone to be "overweight" (by BMI standards) yet have excellent metabolic health and reduced disease risk.

This product doesn’t work.

I have used BellyTrim for 90 days and lost neither a pound or an inch. I don’t believe that this product works. I would not recommend it to anyone. I am an active older woman playing golf, walking, doing Pilates, Aerobics and an exercise class involving weights, crunches, planks, etc.

My BioTrust story

When I first saw an online link to "the one-day diet", I thought to myself, what the heck is this? So I checked it out and began a whole new journey into a world of weight loss I've never achieved before. Wow. True results.

I have always been an active person however, I also have always been a YoYo weight loser and gainer always gaining subsequently more. Within the last six months I had not been weighing myself and honestly letting myself go more than usual. I am 59 years old and 6' 1". After returning from the holidays in Chicago, I stepped on the scale and to my utter shock saw I weighed in at a whopping 282.5 lbs. I was devastated. This was on Jan 2, 2015. I have always used supplements and had remembered reading about BioTrust. Well I made up my mind to jump in and do the program. I do alternating days of interval cardio (Bowflex Tread Climber) and weight training consists of using light weights (10 lbs.) and doing 3 sets of 15 on 12 different upper body muscle groups. I always hated weight training but wanted to give it a go. Nutritionally I do the two shake a day (Vanilla is my favorite) with a protein based dinner by having meat, veggies, and salad. I have eliminated all the carbs and diet soda, which I was a junkie for. For snacks I will eat nuts, cashews, and pistachios on occasion. I also use the IC-5, Belly Fat burner, Pro X10, Leptiburn, and Metabo 379. I also take other vitamins and supplements.

I am the first to say using the product alone is NOT the answer. I truly believe that Interval cardio and weight training is key. The plus is by doing interval training, I spend less than a half hour per day on my workouts.

As Jim Cramer (Mad Money CNBC) would say "here's the bottom line" Today, as of February 2, 2015, I weight in at 261.2 lbs. I was shocked! I knew I was losing weight and thought it would be nice to see a 12 lb reduction but a whopping 21.3 lb weight drop was "off the charts" Cramer again.

I will be faithful to the program and will weigh in again on March 2. Plan your work and work your plan.
