Bombas Socks Reviews - Are They Worth the Price?

Sending the product back if it ever arrives. I ordered twice from Amazon after placing an order with BOMBAS and received both of them and still almost two weeks later still no order from BOMBAS. Reached out to customer service and no reply either. Will have to call credit card company and waste time disputing the charge because it must be a scam.

Ordered several crews along with no shows. All are incredibly thin for the price. The no show socks don't stay up, even walking around the house. I commend the company for the generosity at our expense, I won't be coming back. I don't believe the product is worth half the price.

I thought I loved these socks. I bought plenty for myself then I bought them for my daughter and my MIL. Six orders in total. After less than a year of wearing them, about six pairs have holes in them and I’m sure there are more to come. They are no better than the cheap socks I buy at Kohls. I will never buy from them again. Live and learn.

I wore the socks maybe five times and they're already starting to rip out above the heel. I tried to make a warranty claim but can't seem to find my order. Now I need to post at least 180 characters so hopefully this will do it.

I have placed 3 orders (after receiving a pair in my Birchbox) with Bombas to totally switch all my socks over to their brands. I have purchased the no-show, quarter and dress socks. In total I purchased about 20 pairs of socks. At first they were nice, but I should have worn them over time before placing more orders. They pill extremely easily, worse than a generic pair of socks at Walmart. I have also had 3 pair come apart. Bombas did replace one pair but it gets tiresome to email them, especially when it seems to happen so often. I have tossed out most of the socks and gone back to Hanes for athletic socks and Gold Toe for dress socks. They are 1/3 of the price of Bombas.

For me, it's a tale of two worlds. Their dress socks are amazing. Great arch support, they stay up and in place, hold their form, and seem to wash well. The first wash there was significantly more fading but that has leveled out and they still look great after a few washes. They are cushioned and have substance to them and are well constructed. I also have Tommy John dress socks and Bombas edges them out due to the substance of the sock and the higher level of arch support.

Here's where I'm conflicted...their ankle socks aren't as great. The arch support isn't as pronounced and the construction is not nearly as solid. After one washing I had one develop a hole in the seam where the heal ties into the side of the sock. I didn’t think much of it due to their warranty (although it was my very first pair, so the first impression wasn't great).

I contacted customer service thinking one email, due to their no questions asked...etc., etc., you’ll love these...guaranteed. It took five emails; me taking a picture to submit to prove it, and was otherwise a burdensome experience. When I’m paying more premium prices part of the deal is premium service...I didn’t feel like that was the case, and honestly nearly killed my relationship with them. But that said, they did ship a replacement.

The ankle socks also seemed to fade SIGNIFICANTLY worse than their dress socks and don’t look overly impressive after a couple of washings. They are VERY comfortable, however, but for the price I feel there are better alternatives for ankle socks. Shipping is PAINFULLY slow as well so don’t be in a hurry to receive them...and their inventory always seems to be an issue as my size is rarely available for the socks I want.

So why 4 stars? Their dress socks are THAT good and make up for the other pain areas.

I purchased Bombas crew socks and no show socks. My order was replaced with Adult instead of Children size on the crew sock. I love the crew sock, but the extra room in the toe keeps me from reordering them. On the no show sock, the stretch in the ankle area has not held up. I never put my sock in the dryer...but even with that they are all stretched out prematurely. The extra support in the ankle is wonderful, the weight of the sock is great...very cushioned.

My feet have never felt better. After a long, grueling day of standing on my feet in work, then 1.5 hours with a personal trainer sweating, jumping around, cardio and aerobic activities, the socks still feel (and more importantly) my feet still feel like they did when I put the socks on in the wee hours of the morning - comfortable and supported.

While these are the most I've ever paid for socks, to me they are well worth it.

My socks are too big. I wear a size 9 shoe, ordered the medium, and the heel is up my leg. Maybe you should adjust your size chart. I can still use them and would like to keep them, I do not want to send them back. I'm already in $15 for the socks. This is why you buy one to try before buying a multi-pack.

No-show socks slip down. Worked well but after a few times wearing, the socks slip off my heel and end up bunched under my arch. For the price, they are not a good value. The fit is good and color choices are great, but the bottom line is the socks slip down and you end up having to pick at them and pulling back over your heel. At $92 for a 12-pack of socks, seems like there isn't much value there.
