About CaldoXin Diet

The CaldoXin Diet supplement promises to boost metabolism, burn and block fat, increase energy and mental focus, help regulate blood sugar levels, and control appetite.

In fact, the manufacturer claims that CaldoXin is so effective that it will burn calories up to 10X faster than any other diet product today—without exercise—and that it’ll even work as a “natural alternative to gastric bypass surgery”!

But where did its formula come from? It’s not fully clear, but it appears the site’s author learned about the power of the ingredients found in CaldoXin after reading an article written by a Viennese doctor in a “leading medical journal.”

When combined, he claims these ingredients allow you to lose weight as fast as you like, regardless of what you eat. Specifically, he claims that these ingredients helped him lose a whopping 106 pounds over the course of just 90 days!

According to the manufacturer, all you need to do to accomplish much of the same is take two tablets per day; one before breakfast and another before lunch. Then, the completely safe formula will do the rest.

As a consumer, how much trust can you place in these claims? Could you really lose 100+ pounds in the next three months? Is something like this even safe?

Let’s start answering your questions one-by-one. First, we’ll talk about how the body gains and loses weight.

Calories In, Calories Out?

When your body consumes more calories than it burns (known as a calorie surplus), it doesn’t let this energy go to waste. Instead, it will store this surplus in the form of triglycerides, which themselves are stored in expandable fat cells called adipocytes.

Given this scenario, if you consistently consume too many calories, these adipocytes will flourish, leading to weight gain and bulges, which typically occur around the midsection for men and the thighs and buttocks for women.

Now, in order to maintain an ideal weight, the mantra for years was, “calories in, calories out.” In other words, you need to burn roughly the same number of calories as you consume through food.

Today however, while maintaining a caloric balance is still important for proper weight management, we now that the type of calories we consume can also have a big impact on our weight loss success.

For example, fructose causes the body to release the hormone insulin, which can also promote fat gain and doesn’t tend to impact satiety very well.

So, consuming 200 calories of fructose could cause your body to store more fat and keep you more hungry than 200 calories of glucose. In the end, they’re both technically the same number of calories, although they can have very different effects on the body.

Regardless, is there anything contained in CaldoXin that will address this root cause of weight loss and gain?

What Ingredients Are Contained In CaldoXin?

When it comes down to it, we’re only told three things about CaldoXin Diet supplement’s ingredients:

First, that its X14 Formula involves a “proprietary blend of powerful and effective weight loss ingredients sourced from the peaks of Mt Everest to the deep dark origins of the Amazon.”

Second, that this formula is also a “combination of all natural acidic and plant extracts derived from roots and plants found in uninhabited rain forests, jungles, mountain tops, and preserves around the world.”

Clearly, both of these descriptions tell us essentially nothing about what’s actually found in CaldoXin, although we’re later told about one specific ingredient named Coleus Forskohlii (more commonly called forskolin).

Forskolin supplements are a common staple in the weight loss industry, so we’ve reviewed some of the most popular ones over the years. We also wrote an in-depth guide called The Great Forskolin Hoax, so we certainly have some background researching this specific ingredient.

Bottom line? According to authority websites like WebMD, “very little substantial evidence exists to back its use for any health condition.”

Will You Experience Any Side Effects Using CaldoXin?

Again, without knowing exactly which ingredients the CaldoXin Diet supplement contains and in which strengths, there’s no way to fully understand any potential side effects you might experience from using it.

However, WebMD indicates forskolin may cause mild flushing, upper respiratory tract irritation, stinging of the eyes, and increased heart rate. You’ll also want to avoid forskolin if you’re taking medications like beta-blockers and calcium channel blockers.

Where Can You Buy CaldoXin Diet Pills? How Much Do They Cost?

CaldoXin is available in the following quantities:

  • 1 Bottle (30-day supply): $ 29.95
  • 2 Bottles: $49.95
  • 3 Bottles: $79.95

Regardless of the quantity your purchase, all orders come with a 60-day money back guarantee, less S&H. According to their Terms, this offer is good for one used bottle, while all others must be in resalable condition.

Are There Any Online Reviews For the CaldoXin Diet Supplement?

Other than on the Better Business Bureau website, we didn’t encounter any non-affiliate CaldoXin reviews at the time of our research. Although this might not be surprising since the manufacturer—Sun City Research Group, LLC based out of Ruskin, FL—just became an active entity in February 2016.

There, the single customer complained about a lack of response to emails after returning a bottle of CaldoXin for a refund. The company seemed to quickly respond that the refund had been processed.

After some digging though, it appears that this might be the same company (or group of companies) behind a couple other supplements named Alzaphen and Dexatol.

The latter had 33 customer reviews on Amazon at the time of our research, where most compliments revolved around effective weight loss results (suppressed appetite, maximized digestion, etc.). On the other hand, the most common complaint referenced a lack of results.

Now, we’re not saying this is what you might expect with CaldoXin, although this information can certainly help provide a clearer picture of the overall situation.

Is CaldoXin a Safe, Effective Weight Loss Solution? Is It an Alternative to Gastric Bypass Surgery?

As we detailed above, without knowing all the ingredients (and strengths) that make up their X14 Formula, it’s all but impossible to gauge CaldoXin’s efficacy or safety.

So, is CaldoXin safe and effective? We simply don’t know.

But we do know that it comes from a largely unknown company, so if you decide to place an order, you’ll be putting a largely unknown substance from an unknown manufacturer in your body, which might now be considered the “safest.”

Ultimately though, we’ll leave that decision up to you.

How Much Weight Can You Expect to Lose?

According to the CDC, safe weight loss is approximately 1-2 pounds per week.

This is because one pound of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories. So, if you restrict your daily intake by about 500 calories, this means you’ll lose about a pound a week.

However, if the author of the CaldoXin website is to be believed, they lost 1.2 pounds per day using the supplement.

First, based on the only ingredient we’re told about, there is zero clinical evidence that forskolin can help individuals lose this much weight in such a short period of time. In fact, according to authority sites, there isn’t enough evidence showing it’ll help you lose any weight at all.

Second, even if the ingredients in the CaldoXin Diet supplement could deliver this level of weight loss, you’d almost certainly require close medical supervision to make sure you didn’t die.

Pro tip: Even with gastric bypass (surgically making your stomach smaller so that your body absorbs fewer calories), which CaldoXin promises to emulate, patients only lose an average of 20% of their excess weight over the first two months. And they still have to closely watch what they eat!

In the end, we understand that losing weight and keeping it off for the long term is an uphill battle, and we’re all looking for something that might help make the process a little easier.

But based on everything we’ve learned here today, it seems highly unlikely that CaldoXin can realistically help you achieve anything close to its promised level of weight loss. Instead, we might recommend making an appointment with your doctor, who can discuss all your available options.
