Rip Off Artists

By Lee Gibson , Texas

I ordered a knee sleeve for $19,99 and paid $25.97 for Rush Shipping on 8/31/14. It is now 9/9/14 and I still have not received the order. After many complaints they tell me, the date they use is the date it is shipped and it takes 3-5 business days from that date. I paid additional money for the Rush and all I am hearing it that "I am confused". I spent more for shipping that I did for the product and I still don't have it. Don't trust them.

Good but buy local

By Carl , New York

Works great! Just make sure you measure and buy the right size. And more importantly, buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond or Walgreens because the online ordering is confusing and they nail you on the shipping.

But as for the product, I have been wearing the knee sleeve for a few days now and my knee feels much better than before. I am looking forward to trying the elbow sleeve at bowling to see if that will help with my arm fatigue but just wearing it alone already feels better supported and the compression works for me.

One grip is that the knee sleeve tends to roll sometimes and you have to adjust it but overall so far a good product. We shall see over time how much they retain their tightness once they stretch for a few weeks, months, and beyond.

Total Scam

By Gus Baron , Florida

I was charged $89 for a 19.99 buy one get one free. Do NOT DO BUSINESS with these crooks. They have a great TV commercial but suck. Bret Favre should rot in hell for doing the commercial. The product is as good as an old sock.

Poor Service

By Rob , Austin, TX

My wife ordered the sleeve during the first week of December. The next week someone associated with them called and tried to sell us some coupons. They were very rude about it. She told them to forget the whole order. Never saw a credit card charge, never saw an email. Ordered a sleeve from another copper company and got it the next week. On Dec 29th I saw a charge from Copper Fit on my credit card. Called them and told them to cancel it. They said they couldn't, it had already shipped. Received the item today, Jan 9th. This is not 1985, when I order something I want a confirmation email the same day and the product delivered in seven days not in eight weeks.

I don't know if this product works. The sleeve from the other copper sleeve company worked great. This one does not feel as snug. I would return it but I don't want to pay for the postage or deal with the hassle.

Total crap

By Cynthia Doahons , Boston, MA

Copper Fit did nothing. It's made cheaply and the copper they say they put into it does absolutely nothing. To prove my point, duct tape a dozen pennies to your leg. It is laughable that this product hasn't been banned by the FTC because I think it's pure junk.

Their return policies should be outlawed. They keep the shipping and handling charges so you end up with half your money stolen. Don't ever fall for companies that use the tactics Copper Fit does. They make money even if all of their products are returned. It's sad how companies like this are allowed to stay in business. But sadly, idiots who blather on about the 'free market' and 'capitalism' are essentially screwing their fellow man because they are the ones supporting businesses regardless of how corrupt they are.

No benefit

By Steve Souders , Spring, TX

No support whatsoever for lower back pain, particularly when sitting for long periods, driving, flying. Not worth returning because of shipping. The ones at your local store for $25 will provide much better support.

SCAM!

By Janice Reid , Canada

The worst product ever. I ordered a set of elbow sleeves and got 4. The shipping killed me. By the time it hit my door, I was in for $130.

Bad Business practices

By Danny Nave , Hayti, Missouri

I call the number from an ad I saw on TV and wanted to order two back braces. What I got was a recorded voice that added sleeves I did not ask for nor want. Then they signed me up for magazines I did not want and was going to charge me over $19.00 every month. I assume it was for the magazines I did not ask for or want. You are welcome to call me anytime at 573-359-7485. However, I do indent to contact the inspector at the General Attorney's office and have this matter looked into if I am charged a penny.

Copper Fit Back is a life saver!

By Myron H. Mummey, Shamokin, PA, Verified Reviewer

I saw the Copper Fit products on TV. I suffer from constant pain in my lower back due to compressed discs. At times it makes walking impossible. Aside from that I have Multiple Sclerosis and also some arthritis. As a disabled retired vet the VA supplies me with care and medications, but that can only help so much.

I see a chiropractor about every three weeks and, depending on what I am doing here at our small farm, those discs get angry after about two weeks.

Two days ago, on March 28th, I spied the Copper Fit Back at Walmart by accident. It was $20. I figured what could it hurt. I wore it the next day for a little but didn't feel like I needed it. Today on March 30th I was in agony. I was using my prescribed medications to manage the pain with the not much result. I put on the Copper Fit Back and within 30 minutes I was noticing the pain level drop. Within 2 hours I was moving around pretty well.

As a test to see if it was the Copper Fit or the meds, I took it off and the pain came back in less then 10 minutes. I put the Copper Fit back on and pain went away.

This has to be one of the best products I have ever spent money on! I will recommend this to everyone I know, as well as my doctors at the VA, so they can pass on the news to other patients.

Whoever created this product has become my new best friend. I am no NFL football player but I would gladly promote this product for you. I literally can't live without it. Thank you so much for giving me back my mobility it really means the world to me.

Copper Fit Knee

By Brian Beaston, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I bought it at Dick's Sporting Goods. I wore it three times for an arthritic problem in my knee. I actually started feeling some relief in the knee although some relief may have been from the jell injections I was receiving at the time.

Upon removing at the end of the day on the third full day, my upper thigh felt like it was on fire and developed a "burn ring" all the way around my leg that blistered and itched horribly. After reading the package, I realized I was allergic to the silicone band on the inside of the upper band. It has taken three weeks to heal and is still visible, but at least not itching anymore. As I still want to see if it helps, I am removing the upper band where the silicone is and will wear again.

If you are allergic, stay away and find something without the silicone. I did not attempt a refund as I have already removed the silicone band. I could not find a place on the website to complain, so I posted this review here. I hope it helps so someone else doesn't get burned, literally!

Extraordinary Rip-Off

By DQ , Minnesota

It seems that a pattern has evolved. I too placed an order with Copper Fit, and wanted to try one medium knee sleeve and one small, so I selected one of each.

After I entered all of my information, I clicked submit, assuming that I would have a chance to review my order and select shipping options, which is customary with almost all other internet orders. Not so with Copper Fit! They ran the order right away, without so much as providing me with a total before doing so. I emailed them IMMEDIATELY afterwards (within ten minutes), demanding that the order be canceled before payment was processed, and I received an email back the next day stating that the order had already been "processed for shipping."

I received an automatic notification the next day that my order had shipped. Processing and handling totaled $31.96, while the products themselves totaled $39.98. It took eight days for the sleeves to arrive. I opened the package, tried on one of the sleeves, and was disgusted with it. If the foot portion of a tube sock was cut off and the tube portion was worn over the knee, it would provide more support than this product.

I am sending the sleeves back today, fully aware that I am out the $31.96 as well as the return shipping costs. I am going to be contacting the Better Business Bureau with this story, and I recommend that everyone who posted here do the same. I am partially to blame, because I didn't read the fine print before providing my credit card information, but I am of the opinion that the practices of Copper Fit are intentionally deceptive.
